Scorpius must be informed. Two nights had passed since the Mustang's meeting had been organized in Drakborough - Muryllis had waited this long to speak up simply to keep his tail clean.
A clean tail.. damn that Tobias's love of being insane; of course, Muryllis regarded Tobias as a close friend and a valuable companion - but he did well to arouse the suspicion of everyone, not only to himself, but to Muryllis. That problem had to be taken care of, and two birds could easily be killed with one stone in this case. Tapping his Society badge, a mental call was sent to both the Count Scorpius and Tobias, setting up a council at the crypt of Slytherin. Much is to be discussed...
Standing from his spot in a common room armchair, he checked (both visually and magically) to see that none were presently awake; assured of his privacy, he melted into the shadows, satisfied with his reappearance at the Crypt. Magically donning the ceremonial garb of the Redeemer, he awaited the two of them: Tobias and Scorpius.
Tobias knew some times, one should not charge forward making a grand appearance. Sometimes, one had to stick with the Shadows from whence one came. This is what Tobias did. The only mere sign that he had arrived, as the small breeze that occured, when the Shadow Corridor opened and closed. He had made very little progress decoding the small journal, but it was still progress. A breakthrough would come sooner or later.
"Muryllis...is everything clear?" Tobias asked quietly, still hidden in the Shadows. He had now found it necessary to permanantly add his ebony mask to his Shadow Uniform, every time he went on missions. Too many people put trust in the light. His hazel eyes were hidden, but darting from side to side, making sure they were alone. "What is this about?"
"Make a note of it that I should tell you of the Shadow's Eye," he muttered, flailing his senses all around to make sure none were present. "Indeed, my good Tobias, the coast is clear, you may join me." He chuckled at Tobias's ebony mask; a fine craft, and just as great at concealing his identity as was Muryllis's own pale white mask; but there was no need for it now, seeing as the clock had just struck 2 o'clock.
"I wish for you to be present when I tell the Count Scorpius of a recent meeting I attended; likewise, I shall need him to be present as I discuss with you a plan for the greater good of both of us." The plan, of course, had its roots in Tobias's mindless escapade in Drakborough, in which he threw his identity out for all to see. I cannot be an effective Redeemer, let alone person, if I am seen as the aquaintance of a very dangerous person. Yes, the three of them had much to plan - Muryllis had to make sure everything was perfect...
"Now then, we await Scorpius," he pondered aloud, leaning against the cold, ominous stone of Slytherin's crypt.
The awaited entrance had been a subtly fine one; the chilling feeling had also done well to show the Count's not-too-happy mood. Muryllis, however, was not daunted - the sense of urgency had in fact caused him to fall into his run of the string of information. "My good Count; a few days ago, I had taken part in a certain meeting," he began, his wand slipping out from his sleeve, falling comfortable into his grip. "The lad whom the Society has such distaste for, James Mustang, held a council organizing students to stand against the Shadows. Though, of course, the very idea seems much too silly to be payed attention to, there were a few points you might like to be informed of." His hand, holding the wand, had slowly been drifting upward; the tip of the long yew branch was now touching his temple, and Muryllis closed his eyes. "A certain blade, a certain set of teachings, and a certain Auror..."
Pulling the wand away, a thin strand of mystical thread trailed from the tip, glowing a faint greyish color in the calm darkness of the night. Muryllis smiled; he had retrieved a copy of his memory of the entire meeting, and now held it out for Scorpius to command. "I trust the bits of information would do well to prepare yourself and Syrus; he is, after all, the expert on artifacts - and you, I'm afraid, are the target of this Auror."
