"Of course I'm in. Me and Seth were in from the beginning. We figured out what he was doing from his reputation alone. And don't worry about being a Hunter, I've killed my share of lycans in my time as well."
"All that about experience is a moot point with Seth. Boy's a potions prodigy, nothing he can't whip up. He makes my Wolfsbane Potion, and he's only fifteen. What do you think of that Mr. Solomon?"
"I have ways of finding allies," hissed the seasoned sorcerer, Solomon. His white eye fell upon Aednat, an almost glowing look to it. "I am not here to explain my powers. No, I am here to explain the man known as Scorpius. I will have to ask you to just accept that from now. I am here to make sure that that... shadow of a man does not start killing off children who still have their whole lives ahead of them. I am here to make sure that Scorpius the Hunter no longer has the power to topple governments and murder masses. I am here to make sure that the goals of the Lord of Shadows are not met. I am here for vengeance for what he is done, and what he will do. You will have to accept that for my answer."
There was a loud tone of sincerity in his voice. That freakish eye then turned to Miles.
"Very nice. He can make potions. Again, however, do not let some skill feed you arrogance. The Shadows have scores of potions masters at their disposal, all who have knowledge you can only find in ancient scrolls found in their vaults or museums around the world," said the druid.
He stood up, glancing around at the group.
"You may start training, young ones, as soon as possible, but I must warn against taking any actions against the Shadows. Do not engage in open war with them, and they will not hold any vendetta against you. Wait for the right time. Wait until you are ready. I will help you learn some skills here and there, but first and foremost you must learn about who you are dealing with," said Solomon. "I can reconvene soon with you to begin the history. However, I have some other things to take care of first. When you can all manage to get away and meet again, Mr. Mustang, send me a message."
Solomon let off a small whistle, barely audible. Moments later a silver falcon swooped into the room, emitting a slight screech as it landed on Solomon's out-stretched arm.
"I will leave Seabhag to fly around Firefox and await your message. He will know where to deliver it," said Solomon. "I would prefer if we met at an even more secluded area; perhaps somewhere around the school itself. I have a feeling Drakborough is no going to be a much more unsafe place fairly soon. Until then."
The skinny chap nodded to the students and then disapparated without another word.bg

"Alright folks, this meeting is over. There is nothing more to say, I think. You will be contacted sometime next week, with time and place. Hopefully, there will be a few new faces among us by then. I'm going to talk to the Headmaster about all this, Solomon was right, he'd be a welcome addition to the team. You are all dismissed, get back to your dorms."
As people filed out, he motioned to the Landon brothers. "Seth, Miles stay here, I have to talk to you two. Molly, you can go."

Despite Ashelle preparing to leave she hadn’t really wished to go till the meeting was over. She’d simply thought they’d kick her out after her statement. She was happy that this had not transpired but sort of disappointed that the meeting had ended so soon.
Solomon Talked of unbelievable power, but Ashelle was only confused by that. She believed that many very powerful powers were out there, but not in ones beyond her imagination. Her Father and Mothers Library held many secrets, secrets she poured over on her summer vacations, though she hadn’t had a chance to try them out. If Lord Scorpius had Libraries like hers, she would indeed be frightened but not so frightened that she’d be un able to act, or counter-act if need be. She Shook her head to herself.
Solomon is jaded and scared for us children. There is no one man or an army of men who are as powerful as he is trying to make out. He wishes to keep us out of it because we are the next generation, but if all grown-up’s were to fail us we wouldn’t have much worth living for anyway. “If any one person needs a ride back to the School, Artemis can carry one other person,” She offered. She knew not many people would like riding on an invisible animal, but then if she’d gotten used to it she was pretty sure they could handle it. bg
You are dismissed?! Who the hell did this kid think he was? Sylph's frown had deepened as Solomon continued to speak, talking to them all like they were inexperienced and wide-eyed idiots barely out of first year, and as he left she had grumbled something like; "Whoever said anything about open war? We're here to defend ourselves, not attack them. Does he think we're stupid?" This guy, whoever the hell he was, must really think little of them, and Sylph's anger and annoyance were barely kept in check. Still, now he was gone and she could go back to talking sense with people.
Or at least that's what she had planned to do. Instead this young upstart - who obviously thought he could take on the Shadows single handed, the moronic fool - dismissed them. Those present who knew Sylph well would be expecting her to actively dislike this apparent order from such a kid, and anyone else could see she was ready to crack... and that James would bear the brunt of her outburst.
"What team?" she bellowed at the unfortunate boy, her hair flying about her head as it came loose from its bonds, and her eyes blazed with green fire, sparking almost as much as Talon's did. She suddenly seemed larger, taller and more terrible, a giant filled with righteous rage; if there was one thing Sylph did, it was loose her temper. And luckily it wasn't the only thing she did well.
"What the hell do you think you're playing at, Mustang?" she continued, her voice lessening in volume but not in fury. "What exactly are you talking about? You called us here so we could teach students how to defend themselves as best they can, if an attack should come to Firefox, but from what I've heard it's not Firefox the Shadows are interested in, is it?" At these last words her eyes seemed to leap out of her face more than ever before, a fire and energy that could consume all in its wrath, but she didn't move.
"You just want revenge, don't you James?" she hissed softly, her voice having changed in a split second, still angry but now not without pity. "Well don't do it. Not with us, not with the school. It's not worth it." With that the violet and green tempest that was the Gryffindor prefect turned on her heel and stormed out of the bar, trying to usher some of her charges as she went. Upon reaching the door however, she paused and shot a keen and swift glance over her shoulder at the boy.

Ashelle was one of those that Sylph succeeded in 'ushering'. She hadn't paid much heed to James' words, She only though of them as a way to dismiss the meeting, but now that she thought of it, they sorta had been rude.
"I'm with you Sylph," she told the Prefect when they were out the door, "he's a fool if he thinks we'll help him gain a personal revenge. Everyone knows you have to do that on your own. Thanks for pointing that out, I'm ashamed to say it went right over my head."bg
