Walking into the bar, Torrid Nightshadow, better known as T.J., slumped through the Western-style door. He was totally exhausted from the classes, and his mind was spinning twenty miles a minute. Information overload, he thought as he plopped himself on a wooden barstool on the counter. Though Joker's was known for older and more dangerous customers who wanted an alcoholic drink straight or on the rocks, TJ was too tired to care.
He hoped no one... unexpected, came to... greet him.
Hands and face sprawledo out on the marble counter, TJ almost dozed off until he realized what he came here for. Looking at the menu, TJ skipped several pages before reaching the 'non-alcoholic beverages.' He thought of several possibilities, including a Coke or Shirley Temple, but TJ was in the mood for a more icy, caffeine-lined drink.
"What to drink, what to drink," TJ whispered to himself, browsing the next page of selections. The iced coffee sounded good, but TJ didn't want to look like some weird caffeine-addicted kid visiting Drakborough under some hobo alias. Never mind that, he was just thirsty and a bit hungry.
The Ravenclaw teen would usually eat at the Feasting Hall, but today he felt like going out and getting some sun. Will, his dog, was getting restless, so TJ let him run around the Common Room for a while, and the tired pup fell asleep after a while. He hoped his pup wouldn't wake up and wreck the Common Room. Knowing Will, his fears would likely be fulfilled.
Finally choosing a caffeine-lined iced cappuccino with a shot of caramel swirls, TJ waited for a waitress or waiter of any kind to take his order. Boy, was he tired.
OCC: Sorry for the relatively-short post. I'm kind of tired. Lame excuse, I know. ;D
