James and Jeremy, currently using the names John and Chas, made there way into Joker's bar. The vibe of the bar was warm and welcoming, even though shady people filled the seats of the bar. People didn't paid much mind when they walked into the bar, and Jeremy wanted to keep it that way. Even though he didn't want to seem suspicious, he tried to overhear every conversation going on, just in case any of it was useful. Making their way through the bar proved to be a hard task because of the crowd. Jeremy often bumped into customers, and often had to say, "Sorry," or, "My bad."
Eventually they made it to the counter, where Joker was just taking his leave into the kitchen. A worker of his was now taking over the counter, a worker by the name of Santiago. Jeremy, trying to fit in with the crowd, decided he should order something. "The cheapest whiskey, please," the Gryffindor asked, which was followed by a blank stare of the man. "Que?" Santiago asked. Dammit he mainly speaks Spanish, Jeremy concluded, as he thought how to say it in Spanish. "Ummm, yo quiero whiskey barato, por favor," he said.
Apparently the Spanish he used was correct enough, that Santiago understood. Jeremy paid the man with what little money he had brought. The fact that Jeremy was able to order an alcoholic beverage was a great feeling for him. He was unsure if he would be able to take in the alcohol, without being dramatically effected by it, so he barely drank any of it. Jeremy set his drink on the counter, and sat on a stool near where he stood. He turned and face the front of the bar, where most people were. Jeremy quickly turned around again, toward Santiago. He did his best not to make eye contact with the man.
He decided that he should let James do the questioning, mostly because he knew what to ask. Jeremy was unable to hear what the man told James moments before entering the bar. The Gryffindor was happy that he was partnered up with somebody that he could trust to get the job done. Jeremy knew he would be at a lost if he was partnered up with Conor or Alexan. He was also happy that he was on the mission that he was on, and not the other two's mission. Thinking about the meeting, made Jeremy remember the feeling of being imperioed, and at the end when Julian Forbes called for Conor. Why did Julian need Conor? Jeremy asked silently. Jeremy decided that he would question Conor that later, after the missions were completed.
OOC: All god-moding of Joker, by me, is approved by Joker, because he is also me... ><. Also, Santiago is a character I created with Joker, to make everything flow smoother.
