The memory gap was still irritating the hell out of Willow. She hadn't found Forgoil, but then, she hadn't tried very hard. There had to be a good reason he had done whatever it was he had done. It was Frog who had done that, right? She hadn't the slighest idea. She remembered seeing Forgoil on the beach, but ... not ... what had been going on.
How irritating.
For now, she was half-considering a job. Being lycan didn't mean she didn't want other edibles, and those turned out to cost money. Willow didn't quite remember who had provided her with money during her school term - Don, maybe, who she preferred not to think about - but there certainly wasn't such a thing now. She'd had a job at Raven's, once, but the Inferi swarm had proved to be irritating in .. destroying her place of employment.
She had managed to scrape up a few sickles from some where - the bottom of her trunk, some, which she had finally found buried ... somewhere she would never find it again. It wasn't until she got in the bar, in to the thick of it, that she could smell him. It was difficult, over the smell of booze and everything else, but ... familiar. Something that wouldn't ever really leave her. Haha. How funny. There he was, leaning on the bar and sipping at some sort of drink. That hair. He changed it far too often.
Hesitantly, Willow crossed over to him, stopping a few feet away and pausing. Swallowed hard a few times, thinking carefully. What did you say? The last time she had seen him, he'd been sick, on drugs, miserable and scared to death. It had been cold then too, freezing, the snow. There wasn't snow yet, but they may soon. What was he looking at? She stood there for a bit, waiting to see if he might notice her, and called out quietly.
"What are you looking at?"
What was he looked at? Wanted ads? Huh. Why? She didn't frown, instead giving him a small smile. Talk about weird. She hadn't seen him in so long, but that seemed to be the way it always went lately. Since he'd found out about. Yeah. It wasn't on purpose, slip of the tongue - mind? Who knew Shadow was afraid of wolves and everything. Everything everything, he was afraid of everything.
Casually, she sat down on the next seat and peered at them. Her insides twisted.
Missing persons.
That little girl was on there - Faerys. Oh hell. What should she do? Nothing, just nothing, just sit and talk and not talk about anything, just see how he was. Hadn't he been living with Erin, isn't that what she'd heard? Something. She missed Erin sometimes.

[/i] comfortable with Ms. Shaggy-Paws.
Resting his elbow against the bar, Shadonious turned his head to look at her; pressing two fingers to his lips in thought whilst he tried to calm his already accelerated heartbeat. "Uhm..." He murmered against his fingers, dropping his gaze from her to the posters again. "They're looking for help... Kids keep, urh, vanishing? Apparently," So his language was a little disjointed - he was talking to a lycan for the love of everything holy! He was nervous! "I'm not exactly cut out, anyway," with a shrug, Shad pushed them aside again; moving his wrist to grab his drink again.
It was difficult not to react. He saw her as he saw the monarchy or any sense of celebrified youth. She, Willow, had become some sort of fantasy. He was barely aware that she was even sat besides him. Shadow sighed, waving a hand to bring the bartender over to serve her and resting his chin upon his hand, finally paid her some attention.
He didn't run. That made the knot untwist a bit more, even if the way he looked at her wasn't entirely desirable. Even when he moved over, he made it look like he was just giving her room. Pale green eyes went over him. God. He was still scared of her, or at least uncomfortable. Scared. Willow hadn't ever wanted that.
She hadn't meant it to end up like this. There hadn't been any thought to it, just that thought to help. To save. That thing would have killed him, and she had ... Maybe if she had been thinking clearly, things would have turned out okay. Likely not. She would have do explain to Shadow sooner or later. Maybe sooner had been better.
Sure, the ride had been rough. But ... he had survived. That was what mattered, right? She had too, kind of. Barely. "Yeah, I heard."
"I bet you'd do fine," Willow said, smiling faintly. Kids, missing. Sure, she knew where at least one of them had gone. That cute little ... weird girl who had almost died. Somehow she didn't think it would go with Shadow that Orca had been saving the girl's life. Faerys would have died, no doubt about that.
She remembered, but did he? Sitting in the snow, yelling at ... a red panda. It hadn't been fair, isn't that what she had said? You couldn't yell at something so ... cute. Willow brushed her bangs out of her face, vaguely aware he had said something. Was he asking her ... at least that meant he didn't want her to leave.
Did she want anything? Uh ... Willow stared, blankly for a second, thrown off by the question.
"Maybe a butterbeer?" she said to the bar tender, almost wincing at how pathetic she sounded. Hell, it almost sounded like she might be scared of him. What was the matter with her, acting like this.
She missed him.
"You look a lot better." More like Shadow. Did she want anything ... "No really. Just."
"I wanted to see you?"
Why was there a question mark at the end of that? Willow didn't even know. Embarassed she stared at the counter top and waited. She wasn't sure if this was a brilliant idea anymore. She had a sort of adjustable personality, persay, and since Shadonious Clearwater appeared to be through with hiding, and being nervous, she had no reason to be bold and angry with him.
