Sweaty, tired, but elated as he had never been before; Forgoil Halifirien wearily tottered into the Puff's lockeroom before sagging onto one of the benches in front of his marked locker. They had won; his friends and himself had been able to carry on the Hufflepuff Legacy from Magical Horizons across the Channal to Spain, and had won their first match on Spanish soil. And to his surprise he didn't do all that bad himself; he had saved three goals and kept the Ravenclaws from scoring on him at all times. Rezna had found the snitch and was the first Hufflepuff with that credit to her name. Unfortunately Lottie had taken a beating, but she had played wonderfully on the field even if she didn't score at all.
However Forgoil knew a way of cheering Lottie up some and keeping her away from the Ravenclaws who had the misfortune of landing a bludger on Charlotte. Opening up his locker and putting his broom in it's rightful spot, Forgoil adjusted the cap on his head some before turning around to wait for the rest of his team mates. Perhaps they too wouldn't mind parading the town for the night to..commemorate their fine victory so to speak.

"Stupid, stupid Ravenclaws!" Charlotte was not a happy girl. After the keeper had saved every attempt at goal, and after that stupid beater had made her drop the ball on numerous occasions, it was understandable in her eyes. Scowling, the brunette girl almost limped into the locker rooms. The second bludger had hit her hard around the ankle as she rose to try and dodge it, but it had just hit. Only a twist, but it hurt enough to be broken.
Letting her broom fall onto one of the benches, Charlotte, looking more than a little bruised after her too-close encounters with the balls she hated most, gently removed her shoe and rolled down her sock to rub at her ankle. "I swear, one of them even tries to get in my way over the Summer, and they can have my version of a bludger hit them," she ranted, the scowl not fading any.
But, they had won. That was what counted. The final time she had dropped the ball, Rezna had darted around the pitch, and POOF. The game was over before she knew it. Wincing as she hit the spot where it hurt the most, brown eyes looked up to the Keeper. "Where's Rez? I haven't congratulated and thanked her yet."

For much of the game, Rezna seemed to have watched it in slow motion. At first she was right there with Charlotte and Forgoil, hoping to help them out with the position that she had originally wanted, but once the golden ball flashed before her eyes, that was all the blond had eyes for. Of course, once she finally caught the tiny bugger, what happened to her teammates over the ten minutes she was playing tag with the Snitch caught up to her.
As she made her victory flight about the field, Rezna struggled to keep a smile on her face as her green eyes followed the beaten up figures as the rest of the Loyal 'Puffs made their way to the Locker room. Lowering her broom, the blond retraced her steps to recollect her wand and slowly followed her friends footsteps.
Opening the locker room door, it didn't take long for her to find Forgoil and Charlotte, both sporting the most waring expressions. The boy didn't seem to look the worse for wear, though Rezna knew he had received some well-aimed bludgers in his direction, despite an impeccable game. Lottie, on the other hand, was nursing her wounds on the bench between the lockers. Out of everyone, it was Charlotte who had suffered the most, not to mention worked the hardest out of the team, playing two positions and taking a beating for it.
"She's here, Charl," Rezna replied she let the door close behind her, cutting off with it the noise coming from the Quidditch Field. "But honestly I don't see any reason for you to thank me, unless you were being sarcastic. Had I found that rotten thing sooner neither of you'd be in pain. And for that, I am sorry."
Having said that, the girl made her way to her locker into which she began piling all of her Quidditch gear. "Though wonderful game, both of you. One that deserves recognition. What do you say I treat the two of you, and any guests you might bring, to some nice butterbeer or something? And speaking of treating, are you alright Charlotte?" Rezna asked as she noticed that the 'Puff chaser's pained expression didn't change. "If you think we should check that out, a quick detour to the hospital wing wouldn't be too much of a hassle, right?"
Having put everything away but her robe, Rezna walked over to stand before her friends, dabbing a towel to her forehead as she said so. As her eyes lighted on Forgoil's cap, she couldn't help but smile a little. Despite all of their sufferings, Hufflepuff had done well and that thought made Rezna feel a bit warmer inside, even though her still quickly beating heart kept her warm enough. "Well, what do you say?"
.: and there are voices, that want to be heard, so much to mention, but you can't find the words; the scent of magic, the beauty that's been, when love was wilder than the wind :.

Charlotte smiled as Rezna came in, but winced again as her fingers brushed the bruise on her ankle. "It's fine, just a twist, is all," she stated with a nod. It'd take a while to heal, sure, but the Hufflepuff Chaser was not about to go to the hospital wing after a match with a twisted ankle and a few bruises she could hide under her baggy school uniform.
Shaking her head with widened eyes, Charlotte almost laughed. "Sarcastic? Not this time," she admitted with a light shrug. "If it'd taken much longer, don't think I could've taken that many more bludgers." And what she said was true. At five foot tall with a slim frame, and riding a broom she had used for years, Charl was not the strongest player against beaters.
However, celebrations definitely sounded good. "Maybe we should invite the rest of the house along?" the recently socially awkward girl suggested, surprising even herself. "After all, may aswell make it more the merrier, right?"
