Okay, sometimes enough was enough.
Morgan's sister had been at Firefox since the begining of the last term, and here it was nearly five months later, and Morgan still hadn't seen her. Gwyn was sure to tell Mother and Father that Morgan was avoiding her. So, Morgan bought Gwyn a present (a very nice necklace), got dresed in one of her best dresses (not the one she wore for New Year's Eve, since that was just a tad too formal) and written a note for her sister to meet her in the greenhouse.
Inside, Morgan used a few incantations to set up a table and two chairs, complete with a pale yellow table cloth and a silver teaservice for two. The cups, saucers and plates were of exquisitely delicate porcelain rimmed with sliver. Then she started pulling things out of her bag, things she'd nicked from the kitchens and secured with an impeturbable charm on their surface.
First, was a tin of cookies. The tin was the same color silver as the tea pot, and engraved with a similar design. Next came the package of tea leaves. She conjured a quick fire, and started boiling water she conjured in a pot she pulled from her bag. Really, that bag was the most useful thing she had. It held one hundred object, no matter the sixe, so long as it were not more than one hundred. There were ways around this, of course. For example, if she placed in her bag six quills, that counted as six objects. However, if she placed those same quills inside a case, then they only counted as one.
The practical upshot of this was that it made her organized to a frightening degree.
Finally, once the tea was going, she pulled a cake out of her bag. Not a large thing, but one small enough for two or three people. Nevertheless, it read 'Happy Birthday Gwyneviere' in icing. House elves sure were awfully nice. Then she asked Mondlied to take the note to her sister. When the tea was ready, Morgan set everything up on the table just right, and assumed her chair, waiting for her sister.
((First post for Gwyn, please.))
