"Corrupt power?" Selena said, her fixed curiosity the only emotion present upon her chilling features, "I don't know if the teachers at Firefox are teaching the wrong tales, but you couldn't be further from the truth -" Whether she had intended to make any breakthrough with this attempt at convincing the Rebellion leader, it was interrupted by the arrival of another school girl - this one screaming about the same nonsense as the first one.
All hell broke loose after that, with Fernando attacking the girl and collapsing into a shrieking fight between the two students and the Priest. Then the felons were gone - wolf and all - along with the crazed clergyman. So all that was left in the room were the Mother Superior - the head of the Church - and the two would-be saviors.
"I beseech you both patience," the Witch said, her low voice having a calming allure to it, "to listen to what I have to say. I know rebels live in heat, but cool your heels for a moment and there will be peace." With a flick of her right hand, her yew wand collapsed to the ground in front of her. "I mean neither you nor your friends any harm."

"Then start talking, if one hair is harmed on Shadow I will be killing whoever is responcible," Gwen spoke calmly. "But the teachers are teaching us nothing, you guys are trying to rid us of lycans and others under the same category. They are living souls and should not be treated different from the rest of the wizarding kind," she spoke softly. Gwen still kept a tight hold of her wand, just in case this Mother Superior woman had a motive.
"But if you have a different unknown motive say it now, before I loose what little patients I have left," she said in an emotionless tone. Watching the wand fall to the ground, the Slytherin placed her in her pocket ready to listen to what had to be said.
Selena herself had gotten back up after her fall when trying to attempt to punch Fernado and wiped the mud off of her skirt. But even the loner could see that the Slytherin girl cared for one of the boys that had been taken by that crazy man and that she was serious with her threat. She places her own ebony wand in her pocket but keeps her hand on it in case she has to pull it out again.
"None of those boys would have been kidnapped if you and your followers had stayed away from Firefox, M'am. I believe it is your fault for trespassing in the first place."
Her own silver eyes went cold and her grip on her wand went tighter. It was true, if they had just stayed away from Firefox, both Felix and Shadow wouldn't be in this situation. All she and the other girl tried to do was try to help their fellow students, what harm did that cause? A lot of harm, apparently.
There is something deeper to this...

Selena's look of intrigue slowly faded away, regressing into the frozen gaze that was there before. Her piercing sapphire eyes watched the Slytherin, her emotions illegible. Then, after a second spent searching the girl, the Mother Superior at last answered, "Living souls? Creatures such as they have no soul. They are mindless killing machines that exist to extinguish our society. Should we not rise up and destroy them, it will be ourselves who pay the price.
"I daresay you should not worry about your friends. We of the Church would never harm an innocent - the crazed Father Fernando, should he lay a hand on either of them, will have to face the wrath of His Excellency...and that is not something anyone should be jealous of."
The Witch turned her head to the other girl, icy eyes seeming to probe every factor. "And I am not trespassing, young miss. I happen to have express permission to uphold the law on these grounds."

"Not harm the innocent. A member by the name of Bismarck had held the pale one as you call him, at wand point more than willing to kill him if I didn't surrender," she spoke harshly. "And the lycans have souls, just because Fenir is killing innocents doesn't mean the rest are just as guilty. Just kill Fenris and leave the rest out of this," she spoke locking eyes with the older felmale. "Or at least put them in an icolated ministry protected grounds far from wizard and muggle reach," she reasoned.
Keeping her emotionless gaze, Gwen started to slightly realize that some members weren't really all that bad. "But please you know that there is corruption in the Ministry. If you help us with our cause, you will be honored above all other witches. Think about head of your own department no longer a subordinant to anyone," she spoke smoothly hoping that her words would take effect in the womans mind.
"If they are so mindless then why do they think and speak for themselves? Why do they not kill us all now when we are so helpless with nothing but a wand combined with our stregnths and weaknesses? Answer me that."
Selena glared at the woman again, this time with a cold gleam as she held tight to her own wand. Her own heart told her that this elder witch was prejudiced against the other creatures that had a right to live. She had sensed something wrong with this woman, and now she knows what.
"If I hadn't known any better, I would have said that you are prejudiced against the magical creatures just as the white muggles were prejudiced against the black muggles so long ago!"
"White muggles? Black muggles?" The woman responded, a twinge of amusement in her solid voice. "Unfounded fears such as they are hardly comparable to the monsters that inhabit the world - do black muggles have fangs? Do black muggles have claws? Do black muggles rip asunder our children for sustenance? Propaganda may speak so, but I have hardly seen such a thing happen.
"As for why they do not destroy us now - it is because they fear us. They do not yet realize our potential! Should we, the Black Forest Church, rise and destroy them before they grow confident in their own abilities, we will never have to fear the uprising of -"
Diplomacy ended. Gwen had said the wrong thing.
Selena's sapphire eyes turned chillingly from the Ravenclaw to the Slytherin, their irises disappearing and beginning to glow with a terrifying white light. "You...dare..." She pointed her hand at the student, "You dare speak His name in my presence as if He were some common person." Her hands became encircled with a light-green flame, a emerald halo appearing around her powerful brow.
"ULTIO NATURAL -"
The halo disappeared, the light faded and the fires drifted away. Standing in the place of the angelic entity was the appalled Witch who formerly occupied the space. A look of shock had invaded her usually stone features. "For...forgive me. I do not...take well to people speaking poorly of His Grace."

Selena had quickly stepped back when she noticed something was deadly wrong after noting the disappearance in the witch's irises and the white light replacing it. The loner had shielded her eyes with her free arm as she expected the light to go brighter, but it never did. She had cautiously placed her arm down and looked at the woman again.
"For...forgive me. I do not...take well to people speaking poorly of His Grace."
"You are forgiven."
Selena had noted not to speak of 'His Grace', whoever he might be. But the Ravenclaw could tell that this elder witch was truly sorry as shock had invaded her physical features. Her hand had relaxed when the other Selena was talking but tightened again as soon as the Ravenclaw saw her potential and the possiblilties.

The Slytherin's eyes widened as she saw the woman's eyes start to glow. "Holy mother of god," she whispered as she watched a green flame appear in her hands. Is this am I going to die right here and now she thought to herself as she closed her eyes in silent prayer. Hearing the incantation break, she opened her eyes and stared at the woman in fright as she apologized. "No harm, no foul," she smiled softly. "I just don't know how to address the man whom you call "His Grace"," she spoke calmly.
She made a quick note never to talk about Bismarck that way again. It just might be the last thing she did wrong. Shaking her head, she looked back at the woman. "But regarding my offer and suggestions. Will you think about them?" she asked politely.
The shock that had lined her features took a while to disappear, but following the forgiveness of both girls, the emotion slowly removed itself. The aftermath was only the cold, grim expression which had been present before. "His Grace," she said with her deep yet clearly shaken voice, "is his excellency, Father Maximillian Bismarck. Father Bismarck is a hero, and the greatest sorcerer this world has ever known."
This last statement resumed the calmness in her voice, her tone reflecting deep devotion, "To know of him as anything but such is not just a crime against him, but a crime against yourself. You are both deeply honored for being in his presence, if what you speak of is true. However, His Grace would not have truly harmed the boy - he merely wanted you to surrender and knew your weakness. If you both count yourselves as warriors you must know this basic tactic at least...
"And I thank you both for your forgiveness. It is but a small thing we humans can treasure...however I will never accept your offer to join in turning against His Grace. Such a thing would be a, literal, crime against humanity...however I may offer you the same deal, only in reverse. You both have potential...much potential. The potential to be warmly welcomed into the light of Father Bismarck."

"I'm sorry miss but I am devoted to my cause. To turn against it might as well be suicide, against my oath to those closest to me," she spoke softly.Looking down she remembered her promise never to betray Ryder and Shadow. This rebellion was her life, and no matter how tempting it was to say yes and destroy it from the inside out, she had to talk it over with her allies. 'Surely you understand that I cannot stand by you and the others of the BFC," she spoke tenderly.
She looked over toward the Ravenclaw for a brief moment. She found this truly odd, she had almost suspected a duel for everything. But instead they are just talking over this like calmly.
If Selena was shocked or honored from such an offer from an elder witch, she hadn't showed it. She was already disgusted that this woman's group believes that the magical creatures didn't have souls...emotions. But the Slytherin's idea of a new Ministry didn't appeal much to her either. The loner was getting much more confuzzled when she tries to hear both sides of the stories! But Selena keeps her hand on her wand as she can't help feel that there might be another duel coming on.
"Then I suggest that you bring the boys back...I believe that monkey of a man is going to darken your 'light' if you hadn't heard or watched his actions earlier."

Selena shook her head softly, "It is a pity." Despite this statement, there was no sign of disappointment on the Mother Superior's face. "In the light of Father Bismarck you both would disregard such gruesome things as rebellion. Humans against humans is one of the most vulgar things I have ever heard of."
The woman turned her head back to face the Ravenclaw again, a long moment passing before the woman blinked, her eyes as stone as her face. "Fernando is kept in check by His Grace. I do not fear for their safety. It will not be long until both boys truly understand his excellency and no longer wish to join your rebellion. No doubt, both shall come into the light before you eventually do.
"I do not blame you for this - the Light of Father Bismarck is far more appealing first hand than through the words of a messenger."

"Ever heard the story of Adam and Eve? You will be surprised by all of the sins humans casts each day. Witch and wizard are no different."
Selena had said this cautiously as she didn't want to stir up her anger just as the Slytherin had done. Words needs to be chosen carefully in this round as neither spell nor charm is useless in their conversation. Wolfsong was slowly prying the different stories of both sides from the two witches, trying to decide which one agrees with her own beliefs. Or maybe not choose a side at all.
"You believe I am one of the rebellion? Nope, I am just a witness who just happened to be at the wrong spot at the right time."
