She looked like any other teenager out for a walk, save two effects. One, she was beautiful, and it was plain in her face that she knew it. Second, the look in her cold eyes was absolutely feral, deadly.7.0
It dared anyone to approach her. She moved fluidly, easily, but was trying to look casual. It was obvious she wasn't very good at it. But when your senses were heightened, and your reflexes were lightning fast, it became hard to move, act normal. Elle twisted her head at every sound, eyes took in every sign of movement.
The new vampire watched a bird lift from it's perch and flick across the night sky, a slender, swift shape. The scent of the creature made her throat burn, but not as much as the human scent that coated the grounds of the school.
Casually, she slipped into the greenhouses to wait, only able to hope someone would visit. After her first human feed, her first feed period, she hadn't had human blood, but it was taking it's toll on her. The bruise-like shadows under her eyes were more pronounced, and her senses weren't as heightened as they usually were. Which was a lot.
The thirst for human blood made her throat burn, and she wished she hadn't waited so long. It would make it that much harder to keep from killing the human she would find, had to find, before she went insane with the blood lust. Elle knew from Romulus's thoughts that it happened. And she didn't want it to be her that killed another human. Romulus might have been able to do that, those other vampires might be able to, but she wasn't.
She gritted her teeth, partially opening her mouth and feeling her fangs slightly indent her bottom lip as they extended, ready to rip the throat of anyone she could find. There would be no time for small chat, luring, seducing. She would feed and take off.
The wand.
It was more than likely that any human who entered the greenhouse would be a wizard or witch, and they of course would have a wand, which could harm her. Her thoughts drifted to Felix. If he hadn't vampire-proofed himself, she might have fed on him. But maybe not. She had still been getting over the shock of her new form then. So who knew.
