She just HAD to be curious. Oh well, might as well be a bit of an actor. "You weren't in the fight. You didnt try and get people out of burning buildings while the shadows and a nephilim blew up more homes around you, killing many people around you. Try attempting to help a bleeding man, before a Shadow comes out of nowhere, looking to send a message to the world, and performing the Cruciatus curse on both you and him, killing the guy, and going through all the pain. Funny...that was the last notable thing I felt....like every inch of my being, even my soul were on fire." Tobias' voice became hollow and empty, and turned away from Fuu.
Tobias had never been hit with that curse...but he was attempting to describe what Hell had been like, the few seconds he had been there. Though Satan was proud of him, he still tormented him for what seemed like an eternity.
As Tobias spoke her normal smile faded fast and she bit her bottom lip. Her blue eyes where so sad. She felt horrible. She knew she was insensitive about these things but when it was put in persepective like that...wow. And his voice was so dull. She didn't speak for a second and he turned away. Fuu wasn't sure what to say.
She turned, facing is back and said, "I-I--". She held out her hand to touch him. Then stopped and brough it back. At that moment she resembeled a kicked puppy dog. She placed her hands on her lap and stared at the back of his head, "I'm sorry Tobias." She felt so cliche but she had no idea what to say. She was sorry, it must have been Hell.
"Its not your fault Fuu....you couldn't have known...but what happened in the past stays in the past. Lets focus on the present." He began solemnly, before adding a very slight tone of chipperness in his voice, as he turned around and smiled slightly. "So then, we have about half an hour before closing. What do you want to do?"
He looked out at the nearly empty, rain-filled streets, thinking that nobody would come. He thought about closing early....but thinking of Raven, promptly chose against it. He brought out his wand again to clean his cup thoroughly and placed it back with all of the other cups. He then redirected all of his attention to his friend.
Fuu smiled again knowing that he was good and tht Tobias was alright. Then he asked what they should do. She did't know. As Tobias looked out the window Fuu finished her chocolate milk. Tobias cleaned his glass and Fuu then cleaned hers. She got up to put it away, she wasn't very good at levitating charms.
She sat back down in her chair and spun around, facing Tobias. "Hummm..." she said thinking, "We could play Goh, it's like Japanese chess. Nah, it's to hard. I don't even understand the rules." She placed her fringer on her bottom lip in a thinking fashion. "I know!" she exclaimed, "......wait....no I don't." She looked at Tobias with a innocent expression on her face. "C'mon under that depressing guise you wear there has to be something fun rolling around in your head."
Tobias placed his gloved hand on his chin over the counter thinking. Something fun...something fun....something LEGAL...but fun.....this would be difficult. He racked his brain for things he could do, before grinning widely, and bringing out his wand. With it he directed it towards himself, and muttered a quiet spell. There was a flash of light, before Tobias' face changed to that of Muryllis. This would be funny. His voice was the same, but he was purposely making his voice higher simply for the hell of it.
"Look at me! I'm Muryllis! I like bragging about all the charms I know and other spells that I'm so good at! If I could, I'd like to eat, breathe, live in, and marry the library and all of it's books! I'm a neeeeerrrrrd! Ha ha ha ha ha!" It was always fun to mock friends, enemies, and complete strangers.
Fuu laughed so hard she felt like her stomach was going to burst. She could even imagine doing that. She finally got herself together. She sat up and tried hard to keep it together. She felt like an amused child...wait she was. She was almost bouncing in her seat. And he smiled was umatchable. Yes, Fuu did indeed have a cruel streak.
"Teach me how to do it! Or at least do some more." she urged. Then she looked at the face of Muryliis, and the voice of Tobias. How great would that be? Having two friends in one!
Tobias was laughing as well. "I'll teach you later...but for now....." He brought out his wand again, and this time...Roan's head, Tobias' voice and body. "I'm Roan. I am so very tempremental and moody. If I'm left alone for an extended amount of time, I'll start cutting myself."
Another flash, and this time, Talon. "Behold, the power of my lightning elementalism! I can give you a nasty bit of static, and look how pointy my hair is! I'm like a friggin muggle videogame character! You're annoying me, behold the power of sparky fingers!!!" Once again, another flash, and this time, Orifiel. "I'm so above all of you because I'm a Nephilim. I like to speak weirdly and confuse everyone, because I dont even know what I'm saying. I'm into bondage! Meh heh heh heh heh!"
By this time Fuu was belly laughing so hard she almost fell of her stool. She held on for dear life but she still tipped to the side. She could feel tears well up in the corners of her eyes. Still laughing, she brushed them away. She hadn't breathed in a little bit and felt it was time to. Her cheeks were red and warm, maybe from lack of air. She took a couple of deep breaths and tried to calm herself. It didn't work. She was like a sort of dog animal who howling resembled laughter and lived in Africa. Finally she came too. But she could say anything, becuase everytime she tried she started laughing again.
((Oh well, its about time to close this thread anyways. The clock is about to strike 6.))
Tobias laughed as well as he took off the magical mask, and became himself again. He performed a mock bow, when the clock behind him struck six o'clock. He actually sighed a bit. "Six already? Wow...the time really did fly." He caught his breath, and took off his apron and set it away where all aprons were kept. He even offered to take Fuu's for her, when he said, "I dont remember if I've had that much fun before..."
Fuu noticed the clock the same time Tobias did. She also let out a little sigh. "Yup.", she said in agreement. Tobias was nice enough to offer to put her apron away. She untied the black smock and pulled it over her head and handed it to him. As she did he said, "I dont remember if I've had that much fun before...". She knew that he meant unsadistic fun. With a just as serious tone she said, "Then we will have to do again sometime now won't we?"
She grabbed the set of keys and opened the store room. She grabbed all of her belongs. Then she pulled her out her hair tie and walked out while running her fingers through her hair. She locked the door because she hadn't seen him bring anything. Then she put the keys back. "Alright then. Show me how to lock up. And then I am outta here."
Tobias smiled again, and brought out the keys. He simply locked the cash register, doors, and stood outside the main door and showed Fuu through, before locking up the Coffee Shop for the night, and putting his set of keys in his inner pocket. "Well, that's pretty much it. Just wait till there's a busy day. No time to rest or anything....so, I guess I'll see you tommorrow?" He actually had grown to tolerate Fuu's company. He remembered nearly blasting her at the beginning of the year, but for some odd reason, he felt no aggression to her.
He had also temporarily forgotten that they would probably see eachother in the Common Room sooner or later, and at work the next day. Sometimes, people space about such things. He quickly flipped his hood over his head, as the rain slowed to a slight drizzle, more like a mist than a storm.
Fuu watched as he locked up. He locked pretty much what she thought he would. The register and the door. It had been a good day. She had done her shopping and came out with only a few bags which were helpful as she threw one over her head to block the rain. It was plastic, and Fuu liked the 'tapping' sound the rain made as hit hit the bad abd rolled off. Tobias locked the door from the outside and put the keys away.
"Tommorow?", she questioned, "Aren't walking to the castle and then to the same common room?" She laughed and watched as he put his hood up.
((i give you, Tobias, permission to GOD-rp us walking down the street and back to the castle. if he wants.))
Tobias shrugged giving the, 'oh...right' expression, before taking out his second wand, and directing his first towards it. He closed his eyes, hoping to silent cast it, and transformed his second wand into a large black umbrella, before offering it to Fuu. "No need to get your stuff wet." Yet as he said it, the rain came to a complete stop, but the mist/fog remained. "Oh well." He muttered, before changing the umbrella back into a wand.
He then began walking back to the castle with Fuu. How odd the sight was.
