Raven sighed, remembering times from her past.
"Now, an intelligent person would know that I can't possibly explain them all at once, and I'm going to assume that you are indeed an intelligent person," Raven began, "So, why don't we go one at a time...who are you most interested in and what about them, specifically, because I could speak volumes on each of them, Meg in particular."

"Ahh...Alexandria Evans. She used to come to my shop a lot, the one in Britain, of course, not this one." Raven paused for a second, noticing the level of interest shown in Giada's facial expression. "She and Unknown dated for awhile, you know."
After this statement, Raven paused to take another sip of coffee, and to allow Giada to think about it and respond.

((OOC: I'm leaving in the morning, so this will be my last post until Tuesday evening.))
Raven put her cup of coffee down and laughed at Giada, not out of disrespect, just out of amusement.
"My dear, you should have realized by now that I am not one to hand out more information than is needed." She smiled and got up from leaning against the counter. Instead, she waved her wand and conjured up a bar stool. Seating herself on the stool, she continued.
"My position in the past, however, is of no relevance to today, in my opinion, and thus I have no reason for keeping it from you, if you are interested."
Now smiling slightly, Raven crossed her legs and smoothed her skirt.
"My position too has changed on more than one occasion," she began, still smiling, "At the very beginning I was a member of the Society- that was before Unknown knew anything about it, of course. I'm referring to the very beginning of the Society- before it was strictly...dark."
Sighing slightly, as if regretting the next part in her history, she went on.
"I was a rather important member at the time, and I almost regret what I did next. You see, I abandoned the Society for a Lord Voldemort- but that didn't last long either. His poorly thought out schemes and lack of interest in his so called 'mission' did nothing for me."
Perking up slightly, the smile returned to Raven's face.
"However, it wasn't long after that that I opened my shop. It has served me well over the years, providing me with a place to live and a decent income- as well as the time to be involved with the lives of my friends."
Pausing again, to summon her coffee over to her and take another sip, Raven eyed the door. For some reason, she thought she'd seen something, but dismissed it.
"So where did I stand after that? Well, by that time I was with Thew, and thus tended to side with him, although when it came to conflicts between my acquaintances, I tended to stay out of it. My position then, you could say, was neutral- as it is now...for the moment."

Black seemed to be the color of choice, as it always tended to be, for Tobias Selther, and most that he knew on proper terms. As it was, he was wearing his almost trademark black zippered robecoat and hood, along with the gloves and boots of matching design. The ruins of the Tunnel brought back memories of months past...the chaos and death that had been caused by the Society...a fact which he relished in. But the calm times brought boredom, and even torturing prisoners grew dull. The undead boy needed something to bide his time...and a particular Help Wanted sign drew his attention.
A Coffee shop, run by another resident of the Fortress. A Lady Raven. He did not know much about her, except that she had a style that Tobias respected. Cold, dark, unforgiving...he liked that in a person...and working and actually earning some money of the living might just be worthwhile. His dead hazel eyes glanced from under his hood, as he stepped into the shop quietly, apparently during a conversation...between the Lady and Unknown's Queen.
He allowed a small bow towards the both of them, as they were clearly higher in rank by the Count's standards. He spoke quietly, as he stood from his bow. "Mi'ladies. As I am loathe to interrupt, I came in response to the Help Wanted advertisement outside. If this is an inoppurtune moment, I shall come again either later, or in the...homestead." Even with magical security, one could never know if someone was listening. His tone was quiet, and monotonous. It was becoming harder to remember real emotions, as his true life had ended quite a while ago. Otherwise he might have given a meek smile as waiting an answer.

Raven was not an idiot, no matter how compelling the evidence was sometimes, and from the dress and manner of the young man who had just entered her shop, she new he was associated with Rob.
Ignoring him for a few seconds to allow him to feel awkward just standing in her doorway, Raven magically filled Giada’s glass and then slowly and ominously glided over towards him.
“Now then,” she began as she seated herself in a chair facing Tobias, but then paused- a look of exaggerated annoyance on her face, “We’ll I’m damn well not going to talk to you if you’re going to stand above me like that!”
Not exactly waiting for a reply, Raven muttered a few words and pointed her want at the boy’s midsection. A chair flew in from behind him, scooped him up and landed across a small table from her.
Leaning her elbows on the table and crossing her fingers, Raven stared at him, her eyes fixed on his own- as if they were piercing into his mind.
“Assuming you can read,” She said, sarcasm dripping from her every word, “You should know that you have to be able to count to have this position. You’d also better have a decent knowledge of drinks and should be able to pour them into glasses.”
“If you don’t think you can handle such a demanding job, I suggest you’d better order something or leave.”
Curious to see how he reacted to her rather harsh manner, Raven studied his face intensely. His reaction would have a large impact on her opinion of him, and her opinion of him would greatly affect how she would deal with him in the future- both in her shop and out of it.
Every passing day took Tobais' memories of emotions. How Unknown remembered he would never know. Perhaps it was all an elaborate act. All Tobais could remember was anger, and sarcasm. Now if he was just a normal little human boy, he might have been intimidated. He might have been a tad bit frightened. But his expression said it all. Stotic, and unfeeling, not even a flinch.
"Yes, I can very well read, but it was clear to me that a face-to-face meeting could be considered 'polite.' And if I could not count, or mix drinks, or even had a knowledge of such things, I would not have dared step into this establishment, or even be at the service of some good friends of yours. Now then, mi'lady, I could be so graced as to have this employment, or I could be thrown out of this shop and never come in again. The choice is yours mi'lady."
The entire little bit, his voice was flat and monotonous with no inflection or facade of emotion. The only lie in that, was when he used respect when he said mi'lady. She was far more important than he was. They both knew it. Nonetheless, he stared directly back at her, in a sense of reversing the infamous stare. All she would see inside would be emptyness, and possibly sadism. But he could see intelligence, power...darkness in her. Something he clearly recognized.

Slightly put-off by his monotonous tone, but seeing some potential in him, Raven kept the same almost-cruel expression on her face, but her eyes sparkled for a second.
Pleased that he had the nerve to look her directly in the eye, Raven let past a slight smirk for a few seconds. Not past her usual sarcastic self, as she stood up she pointed her wand at Tobias’ chair and almost incoherently said, “Evanesco,” and his chair vanished, leaving him on the floor.
“Careful,” she said sardonically, “...I wouldn’t want you to get hurt so soon on the job.” Assuming that he would follow her, Raven made her way behind the counter. “This,” she began, “Is the cash register. Put the money in here- steal any- and I’ll personally see to your demise.
These three doors,” she continued, pointing to each of the three behind the counter in turn, “lead to separate rooms, obviously. The one farthest to your left is a bathroom, and the one farthest to your right is the backroom. That’s where the more expensive wines and ales are kept. And please,” she said glaring at him, “Don’t go giving away that stuff unless it’s specifically asked for...”
Pondering over what else she might tell him, Raven put her hand to her chin and drummed her fingers against her face, thought for a moment, and then moved the hand to her hip. “Ah, yes...your pay...I pay by the hour, let’s say 15 sickles and you may keep any tips.”
“Oh, and one more thing, If Rob ever comes in here, you brew a cup of tea and add firewhiskey and get me. DO NOT ask him for money, but he’ll probably give it to you anyway. Do I make myself clear on the subject matter of Rob?” Eyeing Giada, “same goes for the Signorina over there, and Unknown...but neither of them has a preference in drink that I know of, so whatever the desire.”
“Now then, any questions...?” Raven eyed him; she liked curious people, but tended to dislike nosey ones. It was a fine line, and she hoped he didn’t cross it.
Now, if it had been any other person outside of the Society who had done that to Tobias, they would most likely be a small pile of ashes at this moment in time, but the young Selther had to use all of his self-control not to flinch or look angry when falling on the ground. He simply closed his eyes for about a half-second, before standing and brushing himself off, paying close attention to the job outline the entire time.
When his employer glanced at Unknown's Queen, he made a mental note about giving the Count (tea with Firewhisky), his Master, and the 'Queen' what they wanted for free. He also gazed passed the Lady and noted that the left-most room was the restroom, right-most was the backroom...and the center....he would have to make a quick inquiry. When asked if any questions he responded,
"Only three. First, the center room...prohibited I suppose? Second, Permission to obliterate any who attempt to cause trouble? And the most important, when do I start?" Tobias bowed only slightly, and allowed himself a small smile when asking the final question. If anything, he had found a way to kill time, gain favor, and make some money.

Raven sort of liked this kid, though she thought he took crap from her a little too well. To her this either showed passiveness or maturity- she hoped it was the latter. However, she sort of expected that he might become more expressive given time.
“Ah yes, the middle door...thought you might ask about that one,” a small smirk escaped Raven, “That, leads to my upstairs apartment, and yes, it most certainly is prohibited to you. However, Rob may enter as he pleases and I have generally have no objections to Unknown proceeding up their either.” She smirked and let out a small chuckle, “Mind him though, if it’s past 11:30...I wouldn’t want him prancing around my bedroom, now would I?”
Allowing for Tobias’ mind to ponder over what might happen if Unknown unexpectedly showed up whilst Raven was asleep, Raven bent down and felt around underneath the counter, making a rather interesting spectacle of herself for a few seconds, considering the shortness of her skirt.
“Ah-hah!” She exclaimed standing up again, her hand positioned just underneath the cash register, “I couldn’t remember where I put it...anyway, this button,” she continued pushing a small round button. Pushing it didn’t seem to be doing anything, but Raven appeared unconcerned. “This button,” she started again, “makes this little light, I guess you’d call it, go into a horrendous flashing pattern. The light’s located in my apartment, and you’d better not hit it unless you absolutely need to get my attention. Mind you, nothing will happen if I’m at the fortress or out of the country...” Raven rolled her eyes, hoping he wasn’t a halfwit.
“Intent on obliterating my customers are you? Now, now have you no sense boy? If anybody gets hurt in here, it would draw attention to my shop, not excluding myself and perhaps even you.” She gave him a slightly annoyed look, her hands positioned on her hips. “Let me tell you something, kid, last time I let a fight break out in my shop I was hauled down to the British Misitry and imprisoned to await a trial. Luckily, I have certain...connections, rich ones at that, and I was released before I was sentenced.” Again she glared at him. She personally had no problem with ‘bar fights’ or any other kind, for that matter, but she greatly disliked drawing unwanted attention to herself.
“It’s an interesting idea, but those days are long gone...” she sighed wishing they weren’t. “Continuing on,” she started up again almost suddenly, “When can you start is what I believe you asked? Well, whenever you like, preferably sooner, as opposed to later, I usually have other, slightly more interesting business to attend to than bartending these days. A few more things I suppose I should mention...the shop will remain closed when I’m out of the country...and here’s a set of keys,” she added, throwing a key ring at him, “loose them and die- and I’m not one to exaggerate. I was just planning on using magic to seal this place up like I used to, but it’s too difficult with another employee. However, when I leave the country note that it will be locked by magic and protected in various other ways- don’t even attempt to enter.” She gave him a stern look, really hoping that he wouldn’t try. She’d know, and he’d be dead and it would be such a pity to kill one of Rob’s.
“Anyway, the first one opens the front door, the second on opens the storeroom and the third the cash register. Anything else?” Raven eyed the clock hanging near the storeroom door, she wasn’t in a rush to leave just yet, but she would have to depart soon.
((Sorry love, we could continue this forever more, but I leave on Sunday and I need Raven to leave Spain before the war so she doesn’t end up dead when I’m gone.))
((Alright then. Well, since I am short on time for the moment, I'll make this short.))
Tobias stood, and took the keys. He smiled slightly, and said, "If anything, this will probably be an interesting job. Cheers...boss. I will have to be sure to do well...lest I want to go to hell again. But I can tell that as soon as you return, I will do my job to your expectations."
He twirled the keys between his fingers, before placing them in a hidden inner pocket that Tobias kept all of his portable valuables.

((Unknown, forgive me for the god-modding, but like I said, I want to get Raven out of as many topics as possible.))
"Thanks kid," Raven said, flinching slightly at being called 'boss,' it just sounded funny to her. Taking Giada by the hand, Raven led her outside and just before she shut the door of her little shop, she turned back to face Tobias.
"Assignment number one, clean up and lock up." For the second time, Raven turned to leave, but then once again she paused before shutting the door. Pointing her wand at the counter she mumbled a few words and about half a dozen sickles made their way over to it and neatly stacked themselves up next to Giada's unattended wine glass.
Pocketing her wand, Raven winked at Tobias and turned to Giada, who was waiting outside her door. Raven took her by the arm again and the two women started down the street and then seemingly vanished, probably returning to the fortress.
Almost jokingly as his boss and other boss' wife left, he said quietly, "Seig Heil Mein Furher." And then set to work cleaning the used glasses, which took only a few minutes. He then collected the 'pay' she had left, before bringing the keys out again. He made a quick yet thorough check that all the doors were locked, and everything was in place, before taking a final look until his boss returned from her trip. A bit dark, somewhat gloomy, and perfect in every way.
Tobias smiled slightly, as he closed the door behind him, and locked it, hiding the keys afterward. This was his job now, even if things did not go well for the Society......pssh....like that'd ever happen. He shrugged, donned his hood again, and stepped through a Shadow Corridor to places unknown.
He was now "Tobias Selther: Coffee Shop Bartender."

(haha...Germany...okay sorry, high on sugar at the present moment in time >.<) I'm going to murder you all in your sleep because I'm terrible at Latin!))
EDIT: ...and at German too, actually.
