Novus hadn't been to Triangle Tunnel since the Unknown incident, when his 'father' had come back, but he had decided to seek refuge from the rather immature and annoying students of Firefox in the tunnel. He slipped into the tunnel relatively easy, presenting his school badge and explaining to the actually nice guard that he was only here for some coffee and to sit in peace.
The dementors seemed not to bother him at all, barely noticing he was there. Novus was barely two years old, in actuality, and the only situation he had been in a situation which would produce a bad memory he had not been conscious. They did, though, give him a clammy cold dead feeling, and once he had stepped away from the apparation platform, for he could apparate now, he cast a patronus. No animal came out, but the silver spray was enough to keep the ghastly beings away from him.
Where he was to go, though, he was not sure. He had only one conscious memory of the tunnel, and that was when he was only but an hour old. Standing still and blinking for a few minutes, he then decided to just go to the one place he could remember. A coffee shop, in a back alley, called simply "Raven's".
He made his way through the lonely tunnel until he reached the alley. The doorway looked unfamiliar, but that was simply because he had never looked at it. He has only seen the inside side of the door. He entered the shop, one hand holding his brown linen bag, and looked around. Nearly empty. He shrugged, thinking it was, after all, a Tuesday evening and he assumed that wasn't the most busy day. Taking a seat at the bar, he pulled a sketchbook from his pack and a few couldrons of fast-drying paint. He took a no-stick paint brush from behind his ear and began to paint, almost in a trance.
The picture was of a large blue tower casting a shadow on a ruined town, but in the midst of the town was a single white petal from a rose laying in a puddle of blood. He painted fast, nearly in a trance, and did not notice when nearly half an hour passed. Then, he noticed he was thirsty.
He looked up, looking for someone to take his order.
