One person stood outside Triangle Tunnel one dark and bitter winter evening. Small and dark and wearing a Hufflepuff’s robes they just stood outside the threshold without a movement; a newspaper clutched in one hand as the other was hidden under their cloak in a fist. Anger seemed to seep out of her, especially and burnt hazel eyes that would seem strange to any passerby who could see the fires burning within. Roan was not happy, not happy at all.
She had been standing there for maybe ten minutes, arms crossed and debating on what to do. This had just been meant to be a simple outing out to Triangle Tunnel to look at an apartment for sale, but apparently it was not meant to be. Roan had not heard about the increased and extremely tight security around the Tunnel, and thus had not been prepared for the sight before her when she had arrived. Of course she had expected some security but usually so long as she was quiet other wizards and witches ignored the small student. Now they were actually checking wands, meaning that Roan would not be able to enter Triangle Tunnel. All because she was no longer up to the standards of the Ministry.
Roan sighed angrily, running a hand through her long brown hair and debating what to do. So far none of the security guards had tried to talk to her as she wasn’t actually in the Tunnel itself. She really just wanted to head back to the school but her anger rooted her feet to the ground. This Ministry seriously angered her, and the more she heard about it the more she wanted to bring it down. It treated people like her like animals regardless of who they were. Roan had been a respectable witch before she had been bitten by Romulus; but should they ever catch her they would not likely take that into account. So far she had been lucky that nobody knew she was a lycan now and not a witch; but should that secret ever get out she’d find herself in loads of trouble. A part of her, the fighting part, wanted to be found out so she’d have a reason to fight back. As if them putting her grandsire on the wanted list wasn’t reason enough.
Her stomach growled as she stood there, causing Roan to roll her eyes and put a hand on her stomach. The regular food she ate at Firefox was really messing with her system, but it would be too strange to ask for very rare meat and eat just that. It was enough to be driving her to want to shift and go hunt something, regardless of it being human or animal. Hazel eyes shifted yellow for a moment before she got a grip on that side of her, and a small growl escaped her lips. Maybe she would be better off just going to live with Fenrir in the Woods, at least she wouldn’t have to worry about finding a place to live then. Firefox couldn’t be her home forever.
She watched a few more people get checked by the security wizards and shook her head in anger at these magical folk who thought themselves so high in the world. Roan dropped the newspaper she had on the ground and turned her back on the Tunnel. This wasn’t her place, ‘animals’ like her were apparently dangerous. If the Ministry continued to oppress creatures, they’d see just how dangerous she could be.
