Clutching her head in frustration, Gwen glared down at a notebook filled with poems and lyrics. "Why can't I find a muse today," she muttered as she hit her head against the table.
Looking back at the paper she silently read the words to herself.
It's hard to wake up and know you won't call. It's hard to have fun if with you, went it all. You were the life in all that I did. The man in the fight and the fight in the man.
"I need to finish this," she whispered as her dark hair covered up ruby eyes. Sighing she looked up at the ceiling as a warp of different emotions ran through her mind. Most end up leading towards thoughts of graduation and what came next in the Slytherin's life.
(This is the first stanza of a poem I have written. So I'm not breaking any laws.)

Morgan entered the library, her natural habitat as it were. She had nothing special to do, but for some reason the Prefect naturally gravitated toward the library. Today, however, she was not alone. Her red-amber eyes spotted a Slytherin girl apparently agonizing over a notebook. Normally, Morgan would have ignored the girl and gone about her own business, but Morgan was trying to be a more outgoing and friendly person. So, the Ravenclaw made her way over to the table. "Can I help you?" she asked with genuine concern.
"Not really, I'm trying to finish this poem for a friend, and I can't seem to get anything else," Gwen sighed closing the notebook. "But thank you anyway," she smiled softly. Trying to be a bit less anti-social, Gwen held her hand out toward the Prefect. "I'm Gwen by the way," she said introducing herself.

Morgan shook Gwen's hand. "Nice to meet you, Gwen. I'm Morgan." She sat down and pulled her oh-so-pale blonde hair over one shoulder. She began braiding it absently. "So, have you seen the new Astronomy professor?" she asked. "He is gorgeous. I'll definitely be in every Astronomy class."
"I know, I actually managed to talk to him a bit in the village before he got the job. He is so freaking awesome." Gwen said with a dreamy sigh. "Too bad he's twenty-three," She spoke sadly. "And a professor, otherwise I would probably ask him out," she sighed again.

Morgan smiled. This Gwen girl wasn't such a bad character. And Morgan had been convinced, the first time she'd seen her, down at the lake, that she'd had 'dark witch' written all over her. The Welsh girl reminded herself again that stereotypes were a Bad Thing. "Really? Just ask him out? Wow, you must be really brave. I'd never be able to do that." She thought of the whole Lucre situation. That whole thing was just a mess. "So, Gwen, besides writing poetry and Astronomy professors, what else are you into?"
"Umm, well...studing great events in wizarding history, the dark arts, and music," She shrugged. "What are you into?" she asked in a quiet voice remembering that it was a library. Hmm, she seems alight. Trustworthy, she grinned mentally to herself.
