Morgan felt totally at peace as she entered the library. This was truly her favorite part of school. She had been planning on studying with Lucre, but she couldn't find him. Oh well, She was happiest alone with her books anyhow. She really couldn't think of a better way to spend a rainy Saturday. She had a little actual schoolwork to do, but it wasn't hard, so mostly she expected to spend the day browsing and reading.
After loading her arms with not a few books she headed to a secluded spot in the back of the enormous shrine of knowledge, and picked the first one up. She was going to have another try at the books about Morgana LeFay. She was sure there was something there she'd missed. She'd also selected a few on the subject of Faerie Lore, but that was a personal interest thing.
All in all, the day promised to be pleasant, if uneventful. She plucked a loose thread from the lavander material of her t-shirt dress, swept a bit of lint from her dark, flared jeans, and swung her ballet-flat-covered feet happily. She opened the book in front of her, and began the most joyus of all activities, reading.
The little nymph had been in the palace for nearly a total of thirteen minutes, and he only found one thing to entertain him, and that was the 'restricted' section of the library. The grand room of fire-material was almost empty, and the librarian wasn't even there, so he decided to burn the oldest book he could find. And, that he did. It was glorious.
But, when he heard the girl enter the library, he smiled a bit. The fumes from his burning book had made him a bit cynical, hinting at its dark materials, and he felt like seriously getting down and dirty with the light haired Ravenclaw. He crawled towards her, his coal black body hidden under layers of magic, and stopped when he stood in the chair across from her.
He stared deep in her eyes, and his mind went to work. When a fairy so chose, his magic could go as deep as naturally possible, and he did choose to mess with her mind as much as possible. Sparkles of magic crackled in her eyes, and a vision played inside her mind...
The image would be her, sitting in her chair, and in walks the headmaster, He would sit where the nymph was standing, then look Morgan in the eye, and tell her that he couldn't believe his prefect was there, in the library. He would take her badge, expel her, slap her a few times, spit, push, shove, kick, pull her out of the library, toss her out of the palace, into the garbage bin, covered in roaches...
And, yet, all the while, her physical body would remain in the library, where the nymph would watch with delight...

Morgan heard someone approach the table where she sat. Her eyes flicked upward. It was the Headmaster, looking more than a little annoyed. Had she missed something? Was there Prefect duties she'd not realized she had? "Yes, Headmaster?" She intoned, her voice small. She didn't think she'd ever seen Talon look that angry.
"What are you doing here, Morgan?" he asked with hostility, spitting out her name like it was spoiled food.
"I-I w-w-well, I'm studying." She was growing a bit more panicked now.
"Oh, you're studying, are you? Well guess what, I don't care how much you study, it won't matter. I should never have made you Prefect. In fact, as of now, I'm stripping you of that status. You're too stupid to be a good Prefect." He seized the Prefect Badge she had pinned to her satchel, tearing the fabric as he wrenched it away from her.
"P-please, sir. G-give me another chance." By this time she was crying quite hard.
"I can't even stand to look at you. You're nothing but a stupid crybaby. You can't even plead effectively. In fact You're expelled. Get out of my sight."
Morgan's eyes went wide in horror. "No! Sir! Please! I'll do better! I promise!"
Talon's expression went from bad to worse. If he'd been angry before, he now verged on Demonic. "I thought I told you to get out of my sight!" His hands were fast as struck the girl, sending her sprawling. Before she could get up, he kicked her in the stomach, the pain making her double over. He grabbed the girl's throat. Her own hands tried to loosen his grip, but to no avail. He spit in her face and grabbed her by her hair, dragging her all the way to the entrance of the castle.
He laughed, a terrible sound that filled the girl's ears. How could this happen? It was too awful to happen, it was so unexpected. He picked her up and tossed her into a garbage bin. For a moment she was only relieved to be free of the pain. Then she felt it, the lightest sensation on her hand. She looked, a huge cockroach sat on her hand. She shook it off, but it was no use. The bin was full of the disgusting creatures. She screamed at the top of her lungs, and one crawled into her mouth, causing more screams. "GET OFF ME! GET OFF ME! OH GOD, GET OFF ME!" She beat the things off as well she could, struggling to get out of the garbage.
Oh how exciting! The girl was rolling, on the floor, screaming her lungs out, kicking chairs, scratching away unseen bugs. All the while, Anbhás stood on the table rubbing his greasy, coal black hands together, laughing. How fun! His smile grew so large it seemed like his head would split in half, sparks shot from his hands. Oh joy oh joy!
Then, it happened, as he was forcing another image into her mind, the one he hoped would place her in a coma, an image detailing her very messy death at the hands of the great Lycan, a book on the table caught fire, sending black smoke pillowing into the air. Eye contact was lost, and Anbhás fell back, falling off the table, and losing his shroud of illusion. Shit.
For a split second, while Anbhás was dazed, anyone could see his true form, but then he quickly changed into the form of what appeared to be a very short and young boy, with sharp teeth and the same flame red hair that the Nymph usually had, but shorter. His skin seemed tinged in green.
He stood up quickly, in a dark black suit, and doused the fire with a conveniently placed bowl of water that he conjured up. He didn't even look at Morgan as he quickly hid away, behind a book shelf. His fun had been spoiled, and he was NOT happy.

Then, as suddenly as her horrific experience had begun, it stopped. She was lying on the floor, back in the library. Her prefect badge still gleamed from where it was pinned to her school bag. She saw a hint of movement in her periphrial vision, and smelt the sweetly acrid scent of smoke. She got up, took stock of herself, her clothes and hair were a sight, all messy as though she'd been rolling about on the floor. She noticed what looked like a red-headed first year scamper behind a bookshelf. And there, on the table where she'd been sitting, a few knocked over chairs, and a burnt book.
It took her a few minutes to put it together, but finally all the pieces fell into place. There was a fey here. One malignant, or at least mischievious to humans. She must've been illusioned. She was a bit disgusted that she'd allowed herself to be fooled in such a way. She'd been taught about Faerie Folk and their Lore since she was a child. She should have recognized the illusion for what it was, not only because of the unlikely nature of the events portrayed in it, but also because she was a rather good illusionist herself. That it was only an illusion good, that meant she wasn't expelled. She remembered the boy. That must be the fey's disguise. She rounded the corner where she'd seen the boy disappear. "I know who you are, Ancient One."
