The sun was bright, even though it felt as if it should be clouded. The birds were chirping, even though she wished to them to be silenced. The school halls were crowded beyond belief, thus why the grunge dressed Slytherin came to Ravenwood Tower.
A lot of things have ran through her mind as of late. The rebellion, her new training with Syrus, joining the Angelus Morti. And now something new comes to mind, ever since her conversation with Toshiya, Gwen had became a bit wary of him and Shadow. Are they together? she asked herself remembering how the Asian had avoided the topic of Shadow. Sitting alone on a brick that overlooked the grounds, Gwen closed her eyes and let the wind blow through her black hair.
Rolling up the sleeves of her plaid over shirt, a short laugh came from the teen at the though of how she dressed now. Shredded blue jeans, t-shirts or wife-beaters, plaid over shirts, and torn sneakers from skateboarding.
"Please let him come," she whispered softly. She needed to clear her suspicions of Toshiya and Shadow.

Submitting to the whisper she had spoken, Shadonious knew to come to the tower. He also had a pretty good idea of what she wanted to speak about. God, please don't be about Tosh, he pleaded slipping his hands into the pockets of his slacks. A black and green trench coat flapped around his ankles in the slight breeze of the tower.
Approaching the girl, Shadow frowned slightly in confusion. She seemed to have changed so much, especially her choice of attire. Knowing now proberly wasn't the time to act all loved up, he stood behind her for a moment, resisting all urges to throw his arms around her and kiss her neck. He sighed silently, smiling as he placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"Hey," she muttered as she turned to face him. "Shadow I need to ask you about something," she whispered as she tried not to break down or fly off the handle. "What is going on between you and Toshiya?" she asked softly wincing slightly at the words. 'Look I spoke to him earlier this week and whenever the conversation somehow directed toward you, he'd avoid it and blush like mad," she said calmly.
'So please tell me the truth," she requested softly.

Shadow winced. Great, so it was about Toshiya. He sighed slightly, wondering what exactly had been said as he took her hands in his. Looking down at the ground in guilt, the teen stroked her palms, trying hard not to breakdown in pain for he had caused her. "I'm so sorry," he whispered, bringing her hands up and kissing them as tears threatened his own eyes in guilt.
"I-I just, we only kissed once... I swear it's over, Gwen, it's over between me and Dai," he whispered, not daring to look into her eyes for fear of what he had done to her. He wasn't going to lie to her face. He and Tosh had ended it because of Shadow's feelings for her. Somehow he didn't believe she would forgive himt his time.
"Shadow, I don't know what to do about you anymore," she whispered as she rested her forehead against his shoulder. Tears started to fall from her eyes as she tried not to become angered with the teen before her. "I know that you are sorry, but" and she cut herself off from there. "I love you with my whole heart and soul. But I'm not sure if I can trust you after this," she whispered. "Nor am I sure if I can forgive you so easily this time," she added.
"And don't worry Dai told me the same story, that and that he still cares for you. Well more now like a brother," she smiled weakly. "I understand why you did, he's hot as hell," she laughed lightly trying to liven up the situation.

Lifting his hands slowly, he crossed them behind her shoulders hugging her tight. Seeing her cry brought tears to his own eyes, he'd hurt her... again. "Gwen, I love you more than anything else in this world. If I could, I'd erase everything that happened with Dai. But I can't. I'll do anything to take away the pain I caused you. Anything," he whispered, kissing her forehead as the water began to trickle down his face.
"Please, give me one more chance. I need you..." Shadow tried to smile at her comment, but the pit of guilt within him was too high. Why do I keep doing this to her?
Straightening out, Gwen looked up at Shadow emotionlessly. "Shadow I would give you one last chance only if you can prove to me that you will not go behind my back again," she spoke softly as she brushed his tears away. "I'm sick of getting my heart broken by you," she whispered looking down. "It's too exhausting," she sighed with a smile.
God I am too merciful with him she sighed inwardly. She was going to give him this one last chance, if anything happened this time. I will end it she thought to herself finalizing the ultimatum.

Dropping his arms from around her, Shadow tried to meet her eyes but only ended up feeling worse. He had one ray of hope left.
"Anything, just tell me what you want me to do. I'll do anything," he pleaded, trying to think of something to prove himself worth keeping in her eyes. "I never meant to hurt you, I love you too much."
"And that I will not say. You have to find out on your own," she whispered. "There are many things that can be done, but if you know me well enough the answer is simple," she smirked. And indeed it was. There were several options, like an unbreakable vow for instance. But she was going to let Shadow do this on his own.

Shadow sighed knowing he wasn't much of a thinker. Lacing her hands in his, he tried to look deep into her eyes. Kissing her top lip gently, the teen smiled slightly. "I'll take The Vow, anything to be with you," he whispered, brushing his lips against hers.
Slipping the Malfoy ring from his finger, he took her hand in his and slipped it onto her own hand. Kneeling with a grin, he looked up at her. "Madame White, marry me?"
Gwen smiled softly at him when Shadow laced their fingers together and whispered a few words. Brushing her lips past his in return, a confused look came across her face when she saw Shadow take off the Malfoy ring and slip it on her finger. Her gray eyes widened slightly when she saw the wild haired teen kneel in front of her. Oh my god she thought to herself as she listened to Shadow's question.
The Slytherin put a few seconds worth of thought to it before tackling him to the ground hugging him. "Yes, dammit yes," she whispered as she kissed him softly on the lips.

Shadow yelped happily as she tackled him to the ground, he whimpered playfully returning the favour. He grinned, "Really?" Looking up at her, he laughed softly pushing her over so their places had switched. "You know this was so more romantic the way I planned it," he sighed with a small smile.
True, he had been thinking about it for quite sometime, but he had never once thought he would propose over an argument. Still he wasn't joking about it, he actually meant it. Even if it meant that they would have to wait for him to comeof age. "I'll never hurt you again, I promise."
"I wouldn't have said yes if I didn't mean it," she laughed as she squeaked when Shadow switched the roles. "And how did you originally have it planned?" she asked raising an eyebrow. Wait he was planning to do this anyway? she asked herself becoming confused. That was a bit strange. A few seconds of silence washed over them before Shadow spoke again, this time promising to never hurt her again.
Yeah right she scowled mentally while keeping a soft gentle expression on her face. "And I'll try not to get so upset if you do," she smiled as she lifted her head slightly to brush her lips passed his.

Smiling sheepishly, the teen bit his lip, "I don't wanna' say." He was embarassed, not being one for all lovey duvey ideas. But he'd admit a little, "It was just some stuff, you know, outside, snowing with the stars... nothing really special," he doubted himself quietly.
Sighing quietly, Shadow pressed their lips together a little more confidently before he moved off her, so he was lying besides her. "You're too good to me."
"That's really sweet," Gwen whispered a bit before Shadow kissed her. Each time was like the first and Gwen couldn't help but laugh a bit at the fact. Glancing over as he rolled off of her, the dark haired teen raised an eyebrow at his comment, but them nodded. 'Heh I guess I am. Do you want me to stop?" she asked teasingly.
"But to be honest you're way to good for me," she whispered feeling a bit of self-doubt.
