The prefect had led River to the top of Ravenclaw tower. The dome overhead protected them from the awful weather, but allowed them to see outside. "This is the highest point on campus. This tower houses the Divination and Astronomy classes, and was named for Aaron Ravenwood, a professor who used to teach here and gave his life for this school." She wasn't sure how much River knew, if anything, about the Shadow War. However, she didn't mention anything more about Professor Ravenwood.
"If you look at the grounds, you can see The greenhouses, the quidditch pitch, the lake and Fenrir's woods."

River remained silent as they walked away from the hospital wing toward the tower. He was amazed at how many steps where in this place. He seriously considered creating a escalator spell to make traveling a little faster. He nodded to her as they got to the top of the tower. “I can tell, its amazing.” he said as he looked down over the grounds and the greenhouse. He turned back when he heard about the teacher and how it was named after him.
“What is Fenrir’s woods?” he ask not sure about what it was that he was seeing. He had never heard of Fenrir before, and of course he knew about the other things, they where common on school grounds like this.

"Rumour has it that a very large, very angy, and very powerful lycan named Fenris Fenrir makes his home in those woods. He's bound not to come onto school grounds, but they say, if a student wanders into the woods, that Fenrir will eat them." The prefect considered a few more things that perhaps, just perhaps, River should know.
"Also, If you go back down the road a little ways, you'll see the town of Drakborough. You probably went through it on your way here. It's a wizarding town, and has lots of really fun things to do, a lot of students like going in there on weekends and off-days, but there is one family of muggles that live there. Actually, they don't live in Drakborough proper, but it's close enough.
"They're called the Salamandre family, and they kill people who go into their house. I don't think they can help it. I met one of them once, a boy about my age, a few years ago. He didn't seem any different from any other muggle kid, but when my friend went into his house, he went crazy. My friend only just barely escaped with his life. And there are vampires out there too, but they mostly leave people alone, as long as they get left alone."
