After leaving the Slytherin common room for some fresh air, the teen wandered around the school for a bit before heading to where she intending. After walking up god knows how many stairs, she finally reached her destination at the top of the tower. Closing her eyes as the breeze hit her pale skin, the girl loosened the tie around her neck and crossed her arms over her chest.
What to do? What to do? What to do? she asked herself as she began to pace back and forth with the click of her heels sounding like a metronome. Taking her wand out of her pocket, she contemplated erasing her memories then and there, only to replace it shaking her head.
Confusion swum around her head at a rapid pace, unable to decide. One one side there was Lucre, a man who would treat her right and stick to her word. And on the other was Shadow, a boy who all she did was argue with him and make up five minutes later and was an emotional roller coaster.
She needed a way to forget the past and about this stupid love stuff.
The sun began to set, relaxing the teen slightly. Closing her eyes, she approached the railing leaning over, her body shaking. Looking down at how long the jump was, she backed away clutching her hair wanting to pull it out.
For someone who didn't want to date, she seemed to have her share of romantic drama. But how long would this last? Did she have to make herself as undesirable as humanly possible? Take up smoking again? Maybe start taking drugs or drinking. Any way, she needed her mind to become numb, even if only for a few hours.
Breathing in slowly, the dark haired girl lowered her head as she exhaled trying to calm herself down. I need something to get my mind of this. Leaning over the edge once more, deep blue eyes looked up at the many shades of red, orange, pink, and purple that hung over head.
She probably just needed to take a break from men for a while and take up a hobby. Perhaps sewing or painting. Or maybe take a nice long walk to the Triangle Tunnel and take the Knight Bus to a convent. But didn't that idea already run through her mind?
There's always heading back to the forbidden section for more research she thought to herself with a shrug willing to sell her soul for more knowledge of the subject.
"Alright, the convent is out, I'm not coordinated to paint or sew. So, what do I do?" she asked herself quietly as the light wind continued to dance with her hair.
Thinking back to everything, she needed to talk to someone about this mess. That wasn't Shadow since she was supposed to be at the library. And she knew deep down that she should talk to Lucre and see if they were still cool with each other. Despite her indecisiveness.
Seeing something in the distance, the girl leaned forward a bit more to watch a flock of birds fly north. What kind are they? she asked herself as she felt herself lean forward a bit more, tightening her grip on the metal to make sure she didn't slip or fall. But even if she did, who would be there to notice?
