(First post to Cloud Zoia)
Ravenwood Tower, one of two places where one is most likely to spot the dark haired Slytherin. The other one being the lake. Though it was close to dusk and most of the school and the grounds were crowded with students, Gwen thought it would be a better idea to come up to the tower to get some fresh air. She had dropped most of her gothic attire for more casual, punk and grunge inspired ones, giving most to her sister and two cousins back home.
The scuffle of her vans against the concrete stopped as soon as she reached the guard rail. Crossing her arms over it and leaning forward slightly, Gweneth smiled weakly as she stared out toward out into the Spanish Mountains and the Shining Lake almost right below. it was kind of hard to believe that so much as happened in this small part of an even larger world.
Enjoying the sun beating on the back of her neck and the slight breeze that toyed with her shoulder length hair, she couldn't help but look forward to the prank war that was to come. Diverting her eyes downward, everything looked much smaller from where she was. I wonder what would happen if I dropped a knut from here? she asked herself as she remembered that she didn't have any money in the holey jeans that she was wearing that day.
Gwen also couldn't help but find it a bit strange that she hadn't seen Shadow since they ran into each other at the lake. And that was almost weeks ago. She knew that he promised to remain faithful this time around, but she was unsure of herself. There were many new faces at the school, and some of them were to say the least doable.
And it was beginning to become clear that old habits do die hard. Not only was her fidelity diminishing, but she recently ran out of her anti-depressant medication thus her making quiet and very easily upset. Indeed she was mentally unstable with medication, but now it just reached a new peak.
"Damn it!," she bellowed to herself as she ignored the haunting voice that has returned most recently in the Crypt. "Just go away," she whispered beginning to feel her voice break. Sitting down on the stone floor holding her head in one hand, Gwen slowly started to think that she had almost reached her breaking point. She needed something, anything to help keep her stable and not break.
"I need to go back home to Bulgaria," she muttered knowing that she needed her shrink there. Not only was her doctor there, but everything that really and truly mattered in her life. Everything here was most likely only temporary. Even her current engagement.
