Dale Arfen angrily limped into the hospital wing, wearing an upside-down back pack and his Ravenclaw robes. He had been wearing socks, but those had been burnt of by a spell cast by a Slytherin student.
He had gotten up early in the morning to avoid contact with other people, but it turned out that he would have been better getting up at the usual time, because now not only were his feet burned, but he couldn't be sure that a nurse would be able to take care of him.
He sat down in a seat near the door, and began considering ways of getting even with that Slytherin girl.
She had watched him leave, limping and cursing, all the way to the hospital wing. So, she had grabbed the handful of wildflowers she'd picked and scurried after him. The day was early still, no one was really up and about just yet. Hopefully the nursing staff would be well awake and aware that accidents happen at all hours of the day. But this had been no accident. The Slytherin girl had deliberately set, poor Dale's feet afire. So Geldy was on a mission to cheer him up and ease his pain.
When he had taken a seat Geldy made sure she was at least slightly presentable, having crawled straight outta bed and still in her dressing robe. Then she stood to his side, the flowers in her hand, and she smiled. "I'm so sorry about what happened to you yesterday, Dale. I got you these," she said handing him the flowers. "I hope they cheer you."

"Oh dear Mr. Ravenclaw student, sorry I have still yet to know who you are, but let me apologize on behalf of my slytherin class. For if we were to truly do this it would be with honor and not from behind," Chris stated as he noticed Geldd handing the boy flowers, feeling a little sad he muttered to himself, "it is not the place nor time for this," as he walked closer to the both of them.
As he approached the both of them Chris spoke, "Here have some of these, its a snake I love to eat!" He said handing the boy some chocolate covered banana chips as sign of friendly gestures. "Prehaps, you can finally tell me your name," Chris added as he turn to Geld and gave her a smile.

[Dale, I can take care of fuck anybody, don't you worry.]
So, Fuu was asleep. It had been an all night shift for her and she was terribly bored. After reading up on the art of Animagus and mixing a few medial quality potions, there was nothing left to do but sleep. The sun was just turning the heavens a deep violet when her eyelids gave up all hope. She felt groggy, she could hear scurrying little students and happy little voices. This was like torture. Slowly, Fuu wobbled to her feet and stumbled around barely being able to clamp down on her desk. She let out a long deep sigh.
Her sleep worn azure eyes glanced outside the office door. Fuu had a hard time seeing them, but it looked to be two jolly lads and one pleasant lass. Her violent red hair stuck up in the oddest fashion. The front like a rooster and the top like a cockatoo. That plus the grimace and scowl she wasn't a pleasant sight. Fuu stalked over to the trio and said nothing. She viewed the situation.
One boy with food, the girl with a bunch of flowers and the other looking to be in much pain. Fuu sighed once again and walked the opposite way toward the supply cupboard. She sifted through the items in search of the orange burn-healing paste. It couldn't be hard to find, it was very bright. Fuu tugged on her pleated green skirt, it was a little short... wrong washing spell. Fuu made no real excited remarks when she found what she was looking for. She just turned quickly on her heel and walked back to the group.
Fuu pushed past the boy with the weird chip things and sat on the bed across from the burned boy. For the first time after her emergence of the office she spoke. "Hey kid, gimme your right foot.", Fuu said this more plainly and less kind than a nurse should. She moved to the edge of the bed and put the tub of paste down. She reached into her knit vest and pulled out her wand. She pointed it toward the table a few beds away. "Accio Bandage.", she ordered nonchalantly. It came a little slow, but it landed softly in her palm. Then, without acting like it was strange she tucked the wand back into her vest.
Her eyes darted back to Dale, "C'mon, foot up. Let's go.", she said in short bursts. She unscrewed the top of the tub and dipped her hand inside. The thick orange substance was very cold and would probably be very soothing to the boy. Even though it was early... she was sort of glad to help.
Dale had not been happy to see the Gryffindor girl from the feasting hall. He could only associate her with the incident where his feet were burned. Needless to say, he was surprised by the offer of...flowers. If she hated him, why was she offering him flowers? Though when he thought about it, it hadn't been this girl who cast incendio on his feet. But still...flowers? Nobody had ever made such an offer to him. He figured it was because of the flowers conjured by the Slytherin boy. She wanted to apologize, and there were flowers all over so she decided to give some to him. His hand twitched. He struggled to raise it to accept the flowers. But he didn't even like flowers. Accepting them would be more of a gesture of politeness than anything else.
Then the Slytherin boy entered. Luckily for Dale, this guy was also there to apologize for the Slytherin girl's actions, though his speech about honour wasn't much comfort. But the offering of the banana chips was. It was a much easier gift to accept than flowers. And accept it he did. He could tell by the taste that this snack was a muggle type of food, which Dale would have found very strange if he'd known the other boy was in Slytnerin.
"Dale," he said weakly, answering the Slytherin boy's question. "Dale Ahh--yeah." Turning back to the Gryffindor girl, he raised his hand and wrapped his fingers around the bundle. "Thanks," he said to her even more weakly.
He had noticed the red-haired girl already, but didn't realize until she demanded to see his foot that she was a nurse. He raised his right foot obediently, awaiting the orange liquid which he assumed would ease his burn.

Geldy accepted his thanks and realized she was no longer of any need here. "Well, I should be going. I've plenty to do." It was a lie but one she served well. "Perhaps we will talk again soon. I hope you quickly, Dale." She inclined her head to the nurse and exited the way she'd come.
[Sorry XD Old habits die hard! Never again! *bows*]
The boy's foot was up, now. In front of her, ready for the soothing cream. Fuu stared blankly at the appendage for a moment before she remembered how uncomfortable feet made her feel. She knew it was irrational... but still. She pursed her lips and took a deep breath. Quickly she slid her hand under the boy's foot and began to evenly smear the orange substance on. After she had finished slathering the boy she carefully wrapped a bandage and tied the ends. She had to be careful.
Fuu delicately set his foot down and without asked grabbed the other. She repeated the process. Orange gunk, wrap, release. When he feet were all done and her hands were covered in disgusting, Fuu glanced up to see the female. She hadn't noticed before but the girl was quite elegant. She was going to leave and she nodded her head to Fuu. Fuu replied with a sheepish grin and not a word. She didn't know what she could say.
The girl left the room and Fuu watched her departure. Hadn't she brought the boy a gift? Maybe Fuu was mistaken. The nurse's sheepish grin returned but this time it was aimded for Dale. "Well, you're all set. Rest for a couple hours and you'll be all healthy.", Fuu informed. The girl stood, attempted to dust the wrinkled from her skin and slightly bowed. She turned to leaved but no before eyeing one of the Slytherin boy's banana chips.
Fuu paused and decided to ask. How bad could a denial be? "Hey, you.", she said pointing at the Slytherin. "May I have one of those?". She looked over the boy something about him was familiar. His air. Perhaps they had a class together or shared the same house. No matter. She wasn't house prejudice or anything like that. Fuu covered her yawning mouth and awaited the boy's reply.
Dale was glad when Geldaline left. He really was not sure how to accept flowers, especially from a girl. He was watching her leave when he felt the sudden burst of cold on his foot. It was abrupt at first, but then soothing. He felt his entire back relax and let out a long, content sigh.
When his other foot was fixed, he allowed his whole body to rest, but not before letting a simple, 'thanks' to the nurse who helped him. Now he could think of ways of getting even with the slytherin girl. It would have to be nasty for sure, but Dale didn't know any spells that were nasty enough on their own.
"Oh I offer you my most humble apologies and of course you can have some however, you'll have to earn them. Besides I'm Chris and I am from the house of Slytherin," Chris spoke with much enthusiasam. Looking at the girl with great intrest for who wouldn't? She can mend you back in no time, is great looking, and has manners.
"By the way what is your name and where are you from?" Chris asked curiously as he handed her some of his banana chips hoping that this small token would impress her, if not he has many other things up his sleeves that he loved to do. As he watched Geldy leave he knew he missed a shot with another girl. However he had his eyes on the new girl in this room, one that may surley win his heart if he played his cards right.

"Earn it? Didn't I just fix your friend...", she said skeptically as she pointed at Dale with orange hands. Orange hands!? Fuu eyed her hip to see what she had done. When she dusted her skirt she had also goo-ed it. How unpleasant... Her lips were twisted into an awful frown. She grabbed the hem and stared at it until the fellow Slytherin, Chris spoke. She slowly brought her tired blue eyes to look at the boy. She sounded distracted. "Fuu Sunza-", she paused and an uncomfortable wave of feeling ran through her body. Sighing and throwing her head to the side she finished, "Sunzaki-De Flores".
How awkward was that? With her recent adoption, as joyous as that was, she wasn't ever going to get use to De Flores. Crazy French Fo-Parents. To answer the second half of Chris' query she was a little more together. But what exactly did he mean? Country or house? She guessed nationality. "Well, I am half Irish... but I was born in Japan... but raised in England, I've lived here, Spain, for the last couple years... and an official citizen of France.", she paused for a moment. Fuu hadn't actually ever put it in words like that. She was a little impressed with herself. Fuu sounded exotic.
"But, I suppose to answer your question best I am from... Spa-ja-france-land?", her made up country sounded odd coming from her mouth. Making up words on the spot often did. Chris handed the nurse a few snacks, she smiled and was about to thank him but she stopped and looked at her hands. She grumbled something indecent under her breath then retrieved her was from her vest once again. Using a simple charm, her wand emitted a clear jet of water. It cleaned her hands but got some water on the floor. She reached over to the bed she had been sitting on a grabbed a towel off the night stand.
After drying her hands, and the floor because she had had bad experiences with the drying spell, she took the snack. Fuu took a single chip from a handful of banana slices. She let it rest on her lips a moment. This reminded her of an enchantment she had accidentally used once. "Bananacius!", her memory shouted amd she giggled aloud. Then, she popped the snack in her mouth, and ate it. After a couple more she smiled back at the Slytherin boy. "Thanks Chris.", she said simply then put the remains in her pocket, carefully avoiding the goo. "Well, I am done here. I'll go back to my office if there isn't anything else you need?", she said both to Dale and to CHris.
Kasey was to start her shift in a few minutes. Morning to evening, the one shift she had no worries handling. Walking up the stairs towards the Hospital Wing, Kasey was passed by a young, red-haired girl. Someone must have just had visitors, or there was another ill or injured person to take care of.
Heading up the last few stairs, the blonde nurse pushed the doors open on a small gathering of people. They stood around a small boy who has his feet bandaged. Spotting Fuu, Kasey smiled and headed over to her, "Goodmorning Fuu and everyone else" she said making sure she addressed everyone, "So what have we got here?" Kasey asked walking over to stand in front of the bandaged boy.
