(ooc: Continued from the Quidditch stadium thread.)
ic: Malachy Sat in the hoptal wing at the side of the woman who had nearly died because of him. Be cause of a stupid foolish mistake. He had not yet told Ashelle why it had happened. Sning had confirmed the truth. but he didn't want any one to be hurt because of him any more. at least not the people he cared about.
Malachy had stayed with the Ravenclaw prefect for as long as she had been here. Even over night. He had not left Morgan's side. And he wouldn't.
(know it's short but it's a start for not knowing who all came and stayed.)

OOC: What about Ashelle healing all of Morgan's remaining injuries after everyone got to the wing, and what happened to Felix or whatever? Are we going to reply that or just pretend we took care of everything a couple of hours ago or something?
Well I messed a lot up, but it's fixed. Basically, I think this is way after, like a couple of days after the suicide attempt. I'm still working on the one in the Field as if I got there at the time. So, maybe Gwyn can talk to me or something in the Field topic. I'm not sure if this has any immediate relevance to the other topic, or of the other topic is finished. Either way, I need someone to reply to me in the other one.
P.S. Is Gwyn an alt of yours, and who are you? I'm pretty sure it's not Morgan, but I can't be sure.

(OOC: omg make up your mind guys! I was going to start it you know >.<!)
Ashelle also hadn't left the Hospital Wing since the accident. She was still laboring under the delusion that someone had cursed Morgan, and she had questioned every teacher and suspicious student that had walked in. She had cat napped in the Nurses back room but left the door open in case Malachy needed her or the 'assailant' tried to finish Morgan off.
Ashelle had been able -with the help of her Spy-Inside Glass and the Senior Nurses- to heal Morgan enough that she didn't need to be sent to St. Mungo's. However a lot of the cures were potions and had to be altered in some way to get them into Morgan without choking her. Ashelle was doing all the re-brewing herself, seeing as she was the only Nurse continuously there. The last cure was almost boiled away now, it was a small lozenge that could be swallowed or magicked into the patients stomach with a spell. However Ashelle didn't trust anyone but the Head Nurse with such a spell and so had decided to wait till she arrived for her shift to administer it.
She came out of the back room wiping her hands on her apron and when to sit beside Malachy. "Any change?" she asked him, trying to be matter of fact but with a softness in her voice that betrade her true feelings.
Malachy looked up at Ashelle with a grim look. "Other than what we've done so far no." He said. quietly. He began to really think about telling Ashelle the truth she was so stressed over it. And it would probably be better for her to know. Before she falsely got someone in trouble.
With out breaking his solemn look he spoke. "Ashelle... You don't need... to keep searching for the ones who did this." He knew she would probably get confused and argue so before she could he explained. "The ones who did this to her are in this room.... She didn't do this on accident." It was hard for him to say it. and he knew that it would be hard to swallow. He looked down at his ring to show how he knew.

Ashelle's eyes got wide for a moment just as quickly narrowed when Malachy indecated his ring. "I am surpised at you Malacahy! Thinking that Morgan would be that weak! Why if she is that weak than . . . no one could trust her with any secrets and she would be absolutly useless to us in our endevors. If she were captured and torutred she'd sing like a bird!" Ashelle got back up and sighed, tossing her long red curls over her sholder.
"Morgan is stronger than you think! But for your sake I won't keep looking for her assailent if you promice me you'll begin takeing that monsters word with a grain of salt. He lies FOR you, how can you be sure he isn't lieing TO you." She pat his soulder and walked back to the Nurses back room, for once having completely concealed her true feelings.
I'll just have to leave that's all. Now there are two people who know who I can't trust with my past. I could deny both of them but until I become stronger with keeping my secret I can't trust myself among my peers. Pearhaps Navara will take me in and teach me what I need to know, or maybe I could learn by coraspondence . . . I will have to look into both - and in the mean time pray that Sparky and Morgan never meet and never converce about me!
Malachy was shocked at first but that soon turned to anger, but he hid it for Ashelle's sake. He started to explain. "Sning has been in my family for generations it was created by my ancestors. He lies for me but not to me. Do know how terrified I was, not for this little endeavoring of ours with the BFC but for her." He took a deep breath. He could tell she was in denial.
"Ashelle there is no other explanation. Morgan is a smart girl. If it had been some student she would have been able to counter it. The BFC is in hiding right now from Azrael and we had nothing to do with what Happened in the tunnel they have no reason to get rid of us yet. She dove into the ground herself, and it's because of us, no one else."
Malachy paused and looked at Morgan. "Ash, I'm sorry I kissed you it was a mistake. You have that drow... and I have her. Everyone makes mistakes no one is perfect. Please forgive me if I ever made you think their should be any 'us.' it was my mistake, and the blame falls on me." He prayed Morgan would come through he knew she was strong enough to. He prayed she wouldn't give up.

Ashelle turned back around to yell at Malachy that he had no idea what was really going on when a voice from the past appeared in her head and a face she knew well walking into the Wing.
"Gracious Rhiannon! Dovie Bell, it so wonderful to see you! how have you been? and of course you can help Momo, you were a higher Nurse than me back in the day." This Ashelle said out loud as prettily as any well born pureblood. Her mind voice however was quiet different - much more weary:
I will be glad to tell you anything you want to know," she thought and then mentally sighed, it has been a long year and I wish it were over . . . but even then I likely couldn't sleep soundly. I just wish it were all over.
Ashelle then walked up to Malachy and introduced her old friend to him. "Malachy, this is Dovie Bell a good friend of mine and and Senior Student Nurse when I was in my last school. Dovie this is Malachy, my new friend and confidant."
Malachy could tell Ashelle was still denying the truth. But he sobered himself to a point when the new girl, Dovie walked in. Just before though he had the oddest feeling. He knew he had felt it before but he couldn't quite identify it. He stood up and shook hands woth the witch. "Nice to meet you as well, Dovie." He said in response to her greeting.
As the two old friends conversed Mal kept having that odd feeling return; flickering like a candle. It felt unnerving almost like he was being watched but not quite. When Dovie asked about what happened Malachy decided not to start the bickering again, and stayed silent. But when asked to give them, some privacy malachy nodded and began removing His ring. and sat it on the end table at the bed. Sning would watch while he was not around. He only nodded in answer however.
The odd feeling returned to him and suddenly something clicked into place. The last time he had that feeling was in the crypt when The spirits communicated amongst themselves, talking behind his back, wondering if such a young medium's sanity would be effect by their meddling. Malachy realized that the feeling started just before Dovie entered the room. Malachy didn't know whet to make of it yet he would ask questions when people where of mind to answer them.

Of course you can help, Dovie. thought Ashelle, and went to get the requested partitions. However she too noticed Malachy try and leave Sning. She wondered if she ought to tell Dovie why Malachy was trying to leave it but thought better of it. If you can't keep a Slytherin's secrets they'd never consider you a friend she reminded herself.
He seems uneasy around me... he can ask me anything he wants if it is of sound mind to answer him. If he feels more comfortable asking you, that's fine too. So long as his unease is gone before I start. I can't have that in here.
Ashelle nodded. I tell him, she thought. "Malachy, you look worried. is there something you'd like to ask Dovie or me? Just so you know she was my senior student nurse in my Magical Horizons days . . . if anyone can help Morgan besides me it is her . . . but, if there is anything on your mind please tell us." Ashelle wasn't sure if Malachy would confide in her anymore, but she'd done her best and your best is all people can ask, really.
"As for what happened, Malcahy knows better than me. He'd be best to tell you the story."
Mal would have Asked then but then she Said that he knew what happened. Oh now she was willing to listen? He doubted it greatly. He shook it's head. "I just have things on my mind and it's not important at the moment. I think I can trust her enough. Though I would much rather leave my ring with Morgan." he glanced at Ash. " I guess I could keep it with me for now." He didn't feel like sharing the ring's secret with Dovie just yet.
"My master would prefer that you not yet reveal what I am to your friend here." Came the barely audible hiss from Sning. Malachy looked back at Dovie. "Me and Morgan, have been going out for the past three months. I made a mistake... I was caught... kissing Ashelle here and I think Morgan attempted suicide." He said the whole thing he intended to embarrass Ashelle a little; tried to shock some sense into her.

Ashelle frowned at Malachy's assurance of Morgan's infidelity to herself. Perhaps they'd been going out for a while but he didn't know her like Ashelle did. On the off chance he was right, however, she cringed at what this meant for her and the secrets she had told to Morgan in confidence.
How could I have been so stupid, she thought to herself, now two people know about me and both hate me! As Erin is my witness I will never tell another soul about the orphanages again! It's just to much stress knowing that at any moment they could blow my secret. Any Pureblood worth their salt will excommunicated me the instant they heard it! My life would be completely intolerable!
Ashelle came back to herself in time to hear Dovie ask about injuries. "When Morgan crashed her broom her right shoulder was shattered, her collar bone snapped and the the end of the bone was protruding from her skin. She broke at least three ribs, also her spine suffered severe trauma. Her right hip was pretty much crushed, and her right leg broken in two places. Her left leg was only broken in the calf. The largest piece of her broom had pierced her abdomen and other pieces were protruding from her thighs and forearms, which also were broken. Her neck several hairline cracks. However all this has been repaired, thanks to me and the other Nurses on the staff and thus we didn't have to send her to St. Mungo's as was first thought.
Her face was damaged too, as you can see, she has twin black eyes due to a broken nose. Her right cheekbone was smashed though we have fixed that as well. Small cuts and bruises remain. Her skull was cracked in a few places, but not enough to sustain brain damage - that too was fixed with the other bones. However, the patient originally passed out from a heavy concussion. I have a potion brewing down to lozenge form and I was waiting for the Head Nurse to arrive so she can conger it into Morgan's stomach without forcing her awake. It should have taken care of what remains."
Ashelle had remained professionally stoic thought out her recitation, though she was sure Dovie could see right though her act. This was no ordinary patient, this was Morgan a former friend, hopefully a future one and fellow conspirator against the BFC. However her emotion showed though for all to see with her next words. "Please Dovie, if there is anything you can do for her, don't hesitate! My knowledge is vast I have been studying since 2nd year, but you have experience I do not. Please help her, and if possible, bring the old Morgan back! . . . because, we need her, and weather she knows it or not, so does she."

Ashelle followed Dovie's gaze. "Oh, that is just Felix, he apparently tried some extremely advanced magic to heal Morgan . . . I only understood a few words myself . . . and ended up draining himself of energy instead. That tends to happen with the ancient magics . . . that is why you have to be quiet old and knowledgeable to use them."
Dovie then asked her to assist in the healing. Ashelle was not only willing but extremely honored that Dovie would allow her this and could only nod dumbly in her amazement. She positioned herself by the bed, waiting to see what Dovie would ask of her. She hoped it was something easy like 'hold this' or 'fetch me that'. Ashelle didn't exactly feel up to chanting or giving energy at the moment . . . she'd do anything for Morgan of course - but she had a feeling her messed up and stressed energy was the last thing Morgan needed now.
(OOC: Seeeeeeeeee Dovie, sometimes a short post is all that is needed. A wise RPer is she who knows when to write a book and when to write two paragraphs.)
Malachy hadn't left yet and didn't mind being ignored really. He'd leave when asked. When Dovie gestured to Felix Malachy felt anger flare in his mind. He was now in debt to the Gryffindor and that fact alone was infuriating. Felix had caused some trouble nearly ruining his own plans a few times, and the idiocy was grinding on his nerves. He was the most annoying person Malachy had ever met and now he owed the kid.
"I think I'll take my leave until you're finished." he said turning his attention back to the girls. "Please let me know when I can come back in." He said as he walked toward the edge of the partitions. but he stopped and went back to Ashelle, and handed her the ring. "If your helping her wear it." He said giving her a serious look.
