...I can't say I have any experience with Transfiguration, and what very little experience I have with the Dark Arts I've only read in the few text books that were availible to me prior to attending Firefox...
...But that's what classes are for, right?
"...Y'know there's a reason dreams are called "dreams". They're fun to have, but you'll have to wake up from them eventually. But then again, take me. Everyday is a dream for me, I live my dreams...up to the point where it hurts sometimes...
"Don't be so surprised. You could too, if you tried."
No real experience with the dark arts (though I wonder why the transfiguration teacher needs to know that...). Struggles with more advanced transfiguration techniques but willing to practice.
Even the most timid of creatures has survival instincts.
I've taken part in several transfiguration classes, mostly on MH back during 5th year, and there was one time that I delved into the Dark Arts. I used Sectumsempra on a Shadow during the War...and kinda enjoyed it. However shortly after I got blasted with spells from 20 individuals: so you can say I don't have the most successful track record.

Experience with transfiguration? I've studied transfiguration at Farland's Magic Academy, Magic Horizons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Firefox University. I've used it and been affected by it in pranks. It seems to be one of my better skills in magic. (Teagan really wouldn't add anything that would get her in a lot of trouble, so this'll be left at that.)
Experience with the dark arts? I've had five years of schooling in defense against the dark arts, and they always seem to appear in one place or another. Some people at home used dark magic often, so I'm not completely unfamiliar with it. (See the previous set of parenthesis.)

I attended Durmstrang Institute of Sorcery for 2 years as they taught us much of Dark Arts history and so forth, Transfiguration I do not have much experience in but I try to read up on it as much as I can. It appeals to me very much so.

As heir to Morgana LeFay, I can say that Dark Magic is not nknown to me, I just don't choose to employ it. My transfigurations aren't where they should be, because I tend to rely heavily on my pronounced talent for illusions.

In my home, my father uses dark magic as a punishment, so I have picked up some of it and regrettablt, use it more than I should. As for Transfiguration, my mother was the greatest Transfiguration teacher of her time, so she taught me everything she knew. Therefore, I am not new to either subject.
I have been home-schooled by my Mother for the past four years, and she insisted that transfiguration was the most important and crucial part of all Wizarding knowledge. Therefore I think I'm rather good at it...I once turned my Mother's kettle into a chicken!
(Ignatius reflected on this: instead of clucking, the bird had been known to whistle loudly...the Slytherin decided, in his best interests, Professor Korodin did not need to know that part.)
As for the Dark Arts, I have almost no study in that whatsoever. It was always taught to me that those practitioners of the Dark Arts were wasting their time, as obviously nothing good comes from bad.
I don't have much experience in Transfiguration, one of my life-long dreams is to become an Animagus. Seen as I always thought Transfiguration will be my favourite lesson at FFU, I think I should take it. I have quite a bit of experiance in the darkarts, not the 'dark arts' as such but i've witnessed my fair share. I know an amount of dark magic spells, not that I have used them as they are not perfected.
