3 pm - School Grounds, By the Lake
Not many classes were held outside in the beginning of Winter, and Divinations class was rarely held outside at all. Professor Vablatsky believed in dynamic teaching however and wanted to keep the students interested since some apparently found Divinations to be a crackpot subject. So instead of being inside a cozy classroom in the school (seeing as her old one was in the destroyed Tower) they were going to be headed outside on the grounds. Snow had been falling on the grounds but not in a rather large circular area that had been bespelled by Chloe. It raised up light a dome and the snow melted as soon as it hit. Inside the grass was showing and she wasn't wearing the large cloak that would be needed in this kind of cold weather. The charm kept the inside of the dome warm so the students wouldn't freeze.
A path of hovering bright lights led from the exit of the school down to where Chloe was. There was a table with two boxes on it and her cloak laid over the top. On another table were plates with cookies and cups of hot chocolate and a note saying 'Help Yourself!'. Her robes were an emerald green with gold stars that almost matched the color of her hair neatly pulled back. With a flick of her wand several coat racks appeared so students could hang their cloaks when they got there.
Notifications of the class meeting area had been posted on all notice boards in the school, also on the classroom door they had been in before. Chloe genuinely hoped that at least the students who had attended last time would return. This class was bound to be more fun than the last one because it involved something most students found rather interesting. Even muggles used the art sometimes, though those with a magical touch would find it rather easier. Besides, there would be rewards besides just house points and learning in this class.
The Professor flicked her wand one more time and letters of gold escaped it like ribbons to hang in the air and spell "Class Two: Dousing". Pleased with her work she looked towards the school where students were coming down for the lesson.DERP!
