The mountains provided a beautiful background for the early morning class- some students would probably think her insane for making the class begin at seven in the morning, but she loved the mornings. And what better than getting to work when you felt most aware of the world around you? The area that Talon had provided her to set up a classroom seemed ideal. The gamekeeper had built her a few pens for keeping creatures in, and had even built her a beautiful desk out of wood from one of the nearby trees. The desk, along with all of the long tables and chairs for the students, were facing in the direction of the school. The mountains and the Shining River were behind them, and currently the sky was putting on a beautiful sunrise display. Yes. Absolutely perfect.
It was lacking a blackboard, but she didn't mind. Directions were best when attached directly to the assignment, she thought. As for what the assignment was... it was currently kicking and making an absolute racket inside the box that she had been forced to carry them in. They had grown too boisterous for the cat carrier, so she figured that the large box would have to do the trick. Sighing a little, she pulled a small pen out from underneath her desk and place it on top of the wooden surface. And, with little ceramony, she then dumped the contents of the box into the pen, allowing them to be 'free' for the first time since she had arrived.
Miniature Dragons. Over twenty-five of them, spread out among twelve species.
Each one bore a little tag around it's neck, which looked suprisingly like a muggle luggage tag. She'd picked a whole box of them up along her way to the school, figuring that they might prove useful later. And they did. Each Dragon's tag read like this:
Hello! I am a (insert dragon species here). Lucky for you, I have just eaten. Your professor requires that, if you pick me from this pen, you must write a few short paragraphs of description about me. It can be anything from how I look to how I act. She says that this assignment will be worth ten points, must be turned in by the end of the period, and you will recieve bonus points for creativity. Good luck, and you had better hope that I'm not venemous!
Beside the pen she placed a small sign- Every student wishing to recieve credit for this class must pick one. It does not matter if the same one is picked twice. The following dragon's bites are poisonous, and hence must be handled with care: the Norwegian Ridgeback and the Peruvian Vipertooth. And then she let out a loud sigh of relief and ploped back into the wooden chair that she had been provided with. Hopefully the class would be able to master this assignment- but just incase any of them got bitten by one of the venemous dragons, she was sure to have a few bottles of antidote nearby. Otherwise... the students were entirely on their own.

ooc: The location of the textbook is in my signature. In it, you will find the basic description of each dragon species. For credit, all you must do is elaborate on it and add to it. You may even name the dragon if you like. Have fun, and feel free to PM me with questions.
