After settling in somewhat with his new environment, Aaron Ravenwood decided that it was hightime to get his course kicked into gear. Time to enlighten young minds and fill them with the desire to learn whether it was about his subject or something else entirely. Just as long as he sparked the seed of knowledge in those that he taught, Aaron would be contented in knowing that he helped yet another unique individual succeed. After opening the door to allow all those students that were supposedly taking this course in, Professor Ravenwood took a seat on top of his desk; his attire wrinkling somewhat.
Straightening his glasses somewhat, Aaron's right hand dug about in his coat pocket and soon pulled out a small, yellow and grey covered book. Written in the grey was "Mythology of the Greeks, Norse, and Egyptians" and the yellow background served just as well as any color would have. Yet there was no textbooks on the desks of the students that were coming in; for Aaron hardly believed that the usage of textbooks made for a learning environment. So hopefully this group would be a brilliant one because the material that Aaron was teaching wasn't the easiest to remember.
And so began the wait for the class to fill up. The minute that a decent sized class came in, Aaron would simply shut the door and those left outside would be marked as late and thus they would lose points, but they could redeem them by coming to the next class. A generous offer, but Ravenwood had the same problems when he was their age and pitied the little chaps every now and then.
Brushing back his black hair, Aaron muttered to himself in his quiet and reserved voice, "Now shall begin the journey of the mind, but to what end that mind shall reach; my students must find." bg
