Corrine walked into the room, carrying a small notebook, papers, bent and creased messily, sticking out from the sides. She looked around for chalk, and found a piece on her new desk. Dropping her notebook on her desk haphazardly, she wrote on the blackboard, in large lettering:
Professor Corrine Blackbourne Arithmancy Lecture 1 - Syllabus and Introduction.
"Exaudio," she said, putting her wand up to her ear. Corrine then began to sort trough her papers. "Let's see... I think these go together... no, wait, this one goes with this one..." She pulled together groups of paper, and began to smooth out the papers on which copies of her syllabus were scribed. Seeing that they would just not smooth out, she pointed her wand at them. A small flash of light came out of the tip of her wand, and the papers straightened out immediately.Upon finishing her straightening up, she lay her head down on her desk, and closed her eyes...
Chika ran into the room with her books and her DS. She looked and saw what appeared to be the teachers head on her desk. Chika softly took a seat in the back, and set her books down softly. She knew that if silent enough she could get away with playing her DS all of class. Chika turned on her DS and turned the volume off. She then began to play the first Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney game. She then proceeded to beet the first case.

Morgan was relieved to be starting up arithmancy again. She just hoped this teacher was a bit more sensible than their last one. She had packed the notes she'd gathered from the two classes they'd had last term, in case the new teacher wanted to know what they'd already done, but Morgan hardly expected to be asked. She entered the classroom, ignoring the hufflepuff girl, although she intended to ask her how she got her muggle device to work in a magic environment. She took a seat in the second row, one seat left of center. She wanted a good place, but hardly wanted to be known as the nerdy girl in the front row.

Teagan sighed, flicking her disobedient sanguine bangs away from her cold, unfriendly eyes. They quickly fell back in the way and intruded her vision once more. She pursed her thick lips and internally grumbled at them. She narrowed her eyes at the threads, glaring hopelessly.
After a moment, she merely shook her head and calmed her expression, giving up on keeping the rugged things out of her face. Perhaps she should visit a barber more than once a year or so.
She carelessly adjusted her black robe as she walked to class, correcting her sloppy dressing from earlier, turning her badge so that it was upright rather than at a sixty degree angle. She was tired today and not too enthusiastic about attending class. Why should she complain, though? This was the first arithmancy class in nearly a year, and her lack of sleep was the true stressor.
Teagan flexed her fingers. She stepped into the room cautiously and looked over it. Their new teacher was either dead or asleep on her desk, a new hufflepuff girl appeared to play some muggle game--or maybe a recent magical invention?--in her hands at the back of the room, and ravenclaw prefect Morgan sat readily toward the front in the second row.
The head girl stepped quietly to the desk nearest the door in the front row. With her pallid face and tired eyes, she somehow doubted that anyone would enthusiastically declare that she was a nerd or whatever. She really did not care.
She set her duffel bag lightly beside her desk and sat down calmly, brushing the folds of her robe out of her way.
Next, she, in a very Teagan-like fashion, pulled her arithmancy book out of her bag and set it open on her desk. Her long, spidery fingers gently turned through some pages. She reread the information. As much as she preferred spending her time avoiding people by reading through books, she actually had not read this one for a few months. The last time she read it, in fact, was probably at the beginning of the school year.
She sighed quietly, turning yellowed page by yellowed page.
Her inhuman eyes flicked up to the snoozing professor. Class started in a few minutes. If she did not wake up by then, then some courageous student would have to do it for her. She was not injured by some person trying to take over and kidnap the students, was she?
Anyway, she would be probably be conscious by when class began, right? After all, what kind of teacher would not? She sort of kind of possibly did have a job to do.

Arithmancy is a subject that is highly an enlightening one. The idea of using mathematical logical equations to calculate magical answers to help solve and understand magic was defiantly at the top of Felix’s list.
Felix had not been able to take Arithmancy in his first year, even if the subject was very intriguing to him. He had resolved to research it on his own and found the answers very, very interesting. After memorizing every formula and sequence he could get his hands on, the overly ambitious Gryffindor decided to sigh-up after skipping a year or two for various reasons over the course of a couple months…
Felix had heard that the old professor of the subject was quite unscrupulous with her facts, indeed the source was Morgan, but still, Felix had also heard other accusations about the prior professor. A new one was now at Firefox, and Felix hoped to be able to finally take a subject that he would be able to learn more then a book could teach. Of course, this was the only subject that was completely useless in life that Felix liked, but in any case, he wished to excel in it.
Entering the classroom, Felix noted that the Professor appeared to be sleeping. Only three other students had arrived already, some muggle Hufflepuff third-year girl who didn’t care for numbers. Morgan, who Felix already knew way to much about, and Teagan, the older Ravenclaw Head Girl who seemed to be very driven and determined in, well, everything from work to very personal matters. Felix loved his gift actually, it was a burden slightly, but he still loved it. It was interesting, Felix could not tell the Professors details when she was asleep. Very interesting.
Sitting down one chair away from Morgan, closer to the door, Felix knew that if she wished to talk, she would.

Chika popped up, from her game to see that 3 more people were now in the room. Two girls and a boy. She paused her game as she counted and said to herself. " Five people him, her, her, the teacher and me. the teacher seems to be sleeping, but I can't tell. Oh well". She clicked her DS off and walked to the second row were two people were sitting. the seemed interesting to her. She stood and looked over the boy and the girl sitting there with the one chair between them and wondered if they would notice her. "Oh well, here goes nothing." She thought to herself. "Um.. hi my name is Chika, nice to meet ya.

Ammaterasu slowly entered his Arithmancy Class. He noticed that there were four other students in class not counting the professer. He sighed and sat down near the back of the class and tipped his chair a little off the ground so that only two legs of the chair were stationed on the floor.
He over heard a girl introduce herself to three other students. Ammaterasu decided to introduce himself just as the other girl had done. He slowly rose from his chair and trudged over to the others. He stopped a few feet away so that he didn't enter anyones' personal space. He liked to know the others before ever getting close enough to hear them breathe.
"I'm Ammaterasu Okami." he smiled and bowed. "It's nice to meet you."

Ryo hurried into the room hoping he wouldn't be late. He was sorely disappointed to find the professor sleeping. He could hear two of the students greeting the class. He recognized the boy but not the girl.
Ryo slowly made his way up to the professor as he dared to wake her up. He gave the professor a small nudge. Having failed to produce a result, he nudged her again.
The snake was beginning to feel awkward standing in front of the class trying to wake the sleeping teacher. "Oh, umm. I'm Kanagawa Ryo." He bowed and took a seat.

Ammaterasu laughed joyfully.
"Yes, hehehe. Soon ,Ryo, the world will be under my control!!! You will have wished you had never met me!" Ammaterasu laughed again. "I'm just kiddin around. It is kinda weird that we've been meeting like this but hey who am I to deny company from my best friend. I'm half expecting to see Zeyro walk in. Oh yeah what do you think about little Zeyro?"

Ammaterasu rolled his eyes. "Is there a problem with the way that I look at her? Hahahahahaha only joking. Well,I don't wanna make her feel uncomfortable around me so...it doesn't really matter what the reason is does it?..." Ammaterasu shrugged and fumbled around in his jacket pocket for his MP3 player. He pulled it out of his pocket and offered Ryo a head phone and placed the other one in his own ear. He turned it on and searched for a song he liked. He smiled when he realized it would be a while before he got out of the Killswitch Engage songs so he left it on Reject Yourself. "So how do you like our class so far?" Ammaterasu asked calmly, resisting the urge to want to sing along with his song.

Ryo took the other headphone and listened to the rather good music coming from it. "This class is so boring. Nothing is going on and the teacher is asleep."

"Yeah it kinda is. But it's a little bit better since your here. I have absolutely no idea who these people are." Ammaterasu glanced around the room aith a slight frown showing on his face. "Haha what do you think of Killswitch Engage? They're beasts ain't they?"
Ammaterasu frowned at himself. He's never used the word 'ain't' before. It made him feel weird inside, like he was slowly becoming an ingrate like his grandparents. He brushed the thought away, suddeny angry with himself for comparing himself to that scum.
"Hey Ryo..what do you say about some exploring after class? You know in those woods right beside the Ravenwood Tower?" Ammaterasu suggested now feeling happy again.6.0
