"Oh, this little bugger? He's been following me around since I was around ten. Won't leave me alone. Uses my head as his bed when I'm sleeping, the smart one."
Blaze explained, shaking his head, causing a very loud stream of squeaks and chitters to come from it, probably squirrel profanity. Chitter immediately launched himself in flying-squirrel style to Jeremy, landing on his shoulder and crawling onto his head, shaking an angry paw at Blaze and continuing his angry squirrelly rant.
Jeremy had no time to dodge Chitter, as it jumped onto his right shoulder, and then soon enough he was on his head. I hope he doesn't have to go to the bathroom, was Jeremy's first thoughts. That horrifying thought made Jeremy think about shaking his head, but he then thought it might not be a smart move. I shouldn't scare the little guy, or make him mad. I don't want to know what he does when he gets mad, Jeremy said to himself. Even though he thought that, he didn't think Chitter would be too bad, but he didn't want to take any chances.
The blond teenager didn't want to risk grabbing the squirrel from his head, because he didn't want to take the risk that it will try to nibble on his finger tips. "So, is there a special way to get him off my head, or do I have to wait it out?" Jeremy asked, with a slight smile. The smile appeared on his face mostly because he thought it was funny, but also because he was a little timid.

"Eh, give him a minute and he'll calm down and go back on my head."
Blaze replied, shrugging. And, within a few minutes, Chitter eventually crawled down from Jeremy's head, going back on Blaze's, although he was still muttering something in his own squrrielly language. Laughing, Blaze said
"Don't worry to much about Chitter. He'll fume and get mad, but it's not like he's going to bite random people. You'll be fine from his squirrelly wrath."
Jeremy was relieved when Chipper crawled of his head, and onto Blaze. He was relieved again when he heard that the squirrel was basically harmless. Jeremy was trying to think of anything else to say, because most of the regular conversation topics were covered. "So, umm...," he started trying to think of anything to put after that. "...Are you interested in any of the classes that are being offered from this school?"
"I, personally, have enrolled myself into every class that I could. It would be awesome to have a wide knowledge about everything magical. Knowledge had never hurt anybody," Jeremy said. He wasn't that talented in anything so far, but he thought that he had a knack for transfiguration, so he was mostly interested in that class. The class he was least excited about was astronomy, it was just a awkward experience when he first attended that class.
OOC: I have to go for a few hours after this post... and if I am correct, are you throwing allusions towards Foamy? Squirrelly rant, squirrelly wrath. Foamy rocks.

(not really. I just wanted a REALLLLLY angry Squrriel as a pet ^_^)
"Me? I'm thinking about joining most classes except Muggle studies. I know enough about Muggles, considering me Dad was one. I know more than enough about them. I'm not sure about Ancient Runes though, seems like a load of drivel to me."
Blaze commented, shrugging. Personally he thought it wasn't going to get him anywhere. I mean, it was just a bunch of ancient writing, eh? How would that protect him, or help him learn faster?
"The only reason why I take Muggle Studies is because it's the most easiest class. I am muggle-born and I lived like a muggle for most of my life. It's basically a class about how I lived before I came to wizarding schools," Jeremy stated.
Why in hell did I signed up for Ancient Runes class?, the blond asked himself. He didn't had any interests in that stuff, he didn't think he could learn much from it, and it sounded boring. "I have to stop signing up for classes that I don't even know what I have to do in the class," he said out loud.
Jeremy stretched out his arms, and gave a little yawn. He had been in the Feasting Hall for quite some time. "So, any classes that you are especially excited about?"

"Two actually. Charms and Flying. I've never been good on a broom, so that should help there, and Charms so I can learn some newer things. I mostly just know fire spells and other basics."
Blaze said, shrugging and letting his finger run around the edge of his cup. Yes, he excelled in fire magic, the obvious reason how he got his nickname. Although it meant that he was really bad in everything else, although he tried his hardest.
"And the flying professor seems really nice. Professor Rosewood. She greeted me over at the arch. Had a nice conversation."
"Professor Roeswood? I never heard of her, she must be new or something," Jeremy said quietly. However, the name did feel strangely familiar to the Gryffindor. Then it hit him, she used to be a student here at the school, head girl in fact. "Now I remember her, she is nice," he said. The only time they had spoken was during the attack on the school. Without her and the other two people, he would of surely had been killed.
"I heard that the owner of the bar in Drakborough specializes in fire magic. I think his name is Joker," Jeremy told Blaze. He told him that just in case he wanted to farther increase his fire abilities, because that would be one of the best ways to do so.
"Flying class does sound fun. It seems like it will be more physical work than book work, which is a refreshing change. It probably will remind me of gym class," Jeremy said quietly. Too many textbooks he had read last year, because of the classes he took. Jeremy knew that it would worsen a little more now that he is taking more classes, but he was ready for it.

"Alright, thanks. I might have to go and visit him. Even with my fire powers it's really limited. I can burn the clothes or hair off someone without them feeling anything, and that's about the most advanced I can get."
Blaze said, thinking about it. He set his mother's flower garden on fire once, and that was about the best training he had gotten in the muggle world.
"And Flying would be fun. All I can see people doing is working on flying. No books, no wriiting, nothing! It'll be a nice change from normal work."
Jeremy nodded his head to show that he agreed with Blaze. Another good thing about flying is that it might help us in Qudditch. The more we practice the basics, the better our game will be, Jeremy thought to himself. He envisioned another Quidditch Cup for Gryffindor. With all of the new students Gryffindor has received lately, here has to be a few stars among them. Michael probably can chuck the ball for a mile, or block all three rings with his bulging muscles Jeremy thought to himself.
The Gryffindor often talked to himself, it usually helped him think things through, but he did realize if anyone else knew he did this, that they'd think he was crazy.
"I don't have any specialties in magic yet. Well, I might have a knack for Transfiguration, but one class doesn't mean a whole lot," Jeremy told Blaze. "So, do you have any set goals?" he asked Blaze. His first goal of becoming Prefect was accomplished in his first year, but when he resigned, that goal became relevant again.
Post by Terra Karsa on Aug 6, 2007 12:27:43 GMT -5
"My set goal as actually doing a water spell. Whenever I try to cast one, just makes a giant ball of water that lands on someone's head. Even if it's just to make some random stream dance in the air, it'll go ball and fall on someone's head."
Blaze said, swishing his wand around in the air as though to describe it. Fire and water, never a good combination, and it seemed to do the same thing within him natrually. Annoying, very much.

"Fire and water would be a masterful combination. I'm just hoping to be able to do one well, or earth magic. That would be my ultimate dream, being able to shift the ground, and stuff like that," Jeremy said. The only spell that dealt with the elements that Jeremy knew was 'incendio'. The fact was that Jeremy knew only the basic of spells, but he also knew that the basics are sometimes the most important, so he didn't feel ashamed.
"My goals are the normal one; win the Quidditch cup, win the House cup, and become Prefect... again," Jeremy stated. The problems with Jeremy's goals is that most of them are group goals, not individual. No matter how much he tried, he can't win the cups by himself.

"Again? What, did you lose it or something?"
Blaze asked, frowning. He could sense a flashback coming on. Or, in his case, a story. Not like he could watch Jeremy's flashbacks. That'd just be odd. And mentally impossible. Eh, why am I discussing this?
"Yea, water would be nice. because then I could probably figure out how to use it to breathe udnerwater without that charm. Bubble-head, isn't it?"
"When I say again, it is for a reason. I used to be a Prefect, first year here actually. It was an awesome experience, but I felt unqualified for that title, so I resigned a year later. I do regret that decision, but I can't take it back now," Jeremy explained. Well, if I work hard enough I can reclaim that title, but who knows. Anything can happen in two years, for all I know the school won't even exist in two years, he told himself.
"Bubble-head? I've never heard of that, but then again I have a shallow list of spells I know. Sounds interesting though, seems useful too," Jeremy said. He could envision how awesome it would be to be able to breathe under water, and all of that jazz. "I don't know anyone that knows a lot of water magic unfortunately. Then again, there is an endless supply of books in the library, some shall bound to help you."

"Well, I think that's better. I'd probably end up drenching them anyways. What with my track record on water spells. Besides, it'll probably come to me eventually. Just gotta wait and practice. Over-used, yes, true, also yes."
Blaze said, shrugging. Well, not knowing how to do Water Spells properly wasn't all that bad. Good for really hot days. Flick of the wand, instant cooldown. Had to love it.
"So if you were a prefect first year, that means I could be to, huh?"
