Willow sat at the Gryffindor table, alone, like she usually was. She didn't mind though, it gave her time to observe and thank about her new commitment. That seemed to be the only thing on her mind lately.
Her new kneazle, Relik, had complained loudly when she left. Willow had promised to bring him some bacon scraps, if she remembered. She picked up a glass of juice from the table, took a long drink, and scanned the feasting hall. The new spells she was learning, her fatal promise to a Slytherin, and just being her was making her brain hurt.
Taking her wand in one hand after setting the glass back down, Willow went over a spell in her head. Speaking the muttered words, she traced letters in black smoke. Letters in the strange symbols no one else would understand, no one but Shelly, who was back home. But, if in english, they would have read, 'Begin the Rebellion'.

With hands shoved in her pockets, ruby eyes scanned the feasting hall for familiar faces. A lot has been on her mind in recent months. Many questions and memo's ran through the young rebels mind as she continued to look around for someone close to her. But a black smoke distracted her from her thoughts. Out of the corner of her eye, she tilted her head to the side when she saw a Gryffindor female cast strange symbols that must only be readable to her.
I wonder what it says? she mused as she apporached the brunette at the Gryffindor table. "So what does it say?" she asked as she looked at the words with interest and amusement. Hmm I wonder if Shadow recruited her yet? she pondered as she became deeply impressed by the magic that was just used by the girl.
Willow looked up and immediatly recognized Gwen. She heard a bit about her, and though Shadow hadn't said for sure, Willow was fairly sure Gwen was part of the rebellion. Smiling, her eyes dark, Willow swept her wand down and the letters twisted. For a brief moment, Begin the Rebellion was written in the air. Then, it was gone.
She watched Gwen closely. "Did that mean anything to you?" she asked, brushing some strands of hair from her face before setting her wand on the table. Her palm practically burned, but Willow had found a loop hole in Shadow's pact. It kept her from directly mentioning it. It didn't keep her from writing it down or showing people her hand, which would show what she'd been up to.
Ah so she is involved she smirked to herself as she gave a curt nod in respoce to the question asked. "Yes it does, Sha-kun and I spent many a night plotting this, but the detail will have to wait, due to the fact that there are those around us that will be more than happy to give us to the dementors," she spoke in a hushed tone.
She kept her cold eyes on Willow making quick yet detail observations of her body language. She seems quite calm and collected. That will be good to know in case something came up she nodded inwardly. "So are you aware of everything that will be risked if you help us?" she asked blantantly, but still keeping it so only the two of them could hear the conversation.
"This might help our conversation," Willow said quietly, and muttered muffliato, pointing at the nearest group of people. "Yes, I'm well aware. Sha-kun and I talked about it for awhile. My parents are thrilled I'm here, and I haven't been here long enough to make friends," she said with a shrug. "Quite frankly, what have I got to lose? If you think you can tell me, I'd be glad to know." She flipped her wand in her hand, now watching some Ravenclaws on the other side of the hall, and thought of the people she had met. Torrid, Silvain, Felix, Ferris. None of them had gotten a major response from her.
She shook the thought away and looked back at Gwen, who was studying her. Gwen seemed a bit tense, but she had good reason to be, Willow supposed.
Smart girl, no wonder Shadow picked her out, she noted as she started making a mental list of preparations that she will have to bring up with everyone involved. "Well if you don't value your life, welcome aboard," she smirked as she removed her hands from her pockets. "As for friends, good luck on that one, I don't have anyone outside the cause that I can rely on even in the slightest," she spoke emotionlessly. "Shame that we can't many Ravenclaw's to join out cause," she muttered as she looked over in the general direction of the Ravenclaw table. "But I guess I will have to work harder on my half of the recruiting," she shrugged. "Ok Sha-kun doesn't know this yet, but I'm going to try to arrange a meeting for all of us involved with the rebellion to discuss further motions and stages, but I will tell him once I can get the chance to," she stated calmly.
Her trust issues with Gryfindors kept her on her guard at all times whenever she came to the table. Especially with the fact that her sister probably wasn't too far away from where they were. "Originally my sister and I were plotting this over the summer, but she decided to go AWAL on us. If it wasn't for that there would be another from your house that you can talk to about this," she said calmly want to give her some of the background that even Shadow didn't really know.
"I can deal without friends," Willow stated. "Let me know when this meeting will be. And if it's any consolation to your trust..." she pulled her glove half off, so the scarlet skull was just visible. "I can't tell anyway. Sha-kun made sure of that," she explained with a dark smile. "I'll recruit if I can, but I'd like to stay in school long enough to learn more than I do." Willow had spent the last two weeks in the library, studying till her brain hurt. She'd learned more than most of her fellows, and was using it to her advantage.
She slipped the glove back on, and continued. "I don't have anything to lose, and Sha-kun seems to think that I'll come in handy if someone has to do something dangerous. I guess I can see that too. Why risk the life of someone important?" she muttered the last two sentences, so low Gwen couldn't hear.
ooc-My characters a first year, but do you think I could change her year? Makes it easier with spells....
Seeing the burn she smirked and nodded. And unbreakable vow, very smart Shadow she mused to herself. "But ratting on us the the least of my worries, but turning your back on us in other fashions might end up even more fatal to us," she spoke softly closing her eyes deep in thought. "recruit if you want, but don't worry about dropping out, you still have much to learn and experiences to gain. But I on the other hand, have learned enought so I'm planning on leaving here as soon as I can to plot outside the Slytherin common room," she explained smoothly.
"But if something that you know you can't handle comes along, tell me and I will be more than happy to go in your place. A young and brilliant mind such as yours is nothing to be wasted on such a task," she reassured her with a small smile. Seeing Willow's lips move she failed to hear what else was stated. Ah well if she doesn't want it heard, I won't push it she shrugged mentally. As much as she hated to say it, but Gwen was starting to see Willow as the little sister that she wished she had.
(You might have to contact an admin about changing your year)
"Have you forgotten what house I'm in? I'm loyal with who I choose to be," Willow replied casually. "Sha-kun is the only person who's bothered to ask me what I want, and he listened. No one else has. I will not betray him or his...organization, whether he believes so or not." Willow blinked. "And thanks for the offer. I'll be sure to keep it in mind," Willow said, giving her a rare, real smile.
"Where will you go once you've left here?" Already Willow was falling into mental step beside Gwen. She had that role, the ability to ask the questions people wanted to hear and say things people wanted to respond to. "The village?" Or somewhere else? Willow wanted to know as much as she could about this whole organization, so she was more available to help, if she was needed. That was how her brain worked, like a chess game. Only this time, she was actually using it. She'd made notes in a book, and Relik wouldn't let anyone in her trunk without her say so, at least without risking their eyes gouged out.
"Well then I'm glad you're in Gryfindor then," Gwen shrugged keeping a mellow tone to her voice. "But I will worry about you. And as much as it's killing me inside to say this, but you are starting to grow on me almost like the sister I wish I had instead of the blood traitor that I have now," she smirked.
When Willow asked where she was going if she succeded to drop out, the Slytherin glanced up at the ceiling. "My location after departure will remain unknown. Hell I don't even know where I'm going yet," she said with a small yet rare laugh. "But once I find a safe and secure location away from ministry ears and eyes, I will send Lenore with a letter to you or Shadow," she responded. She really didn't want to be asked that many questions, heck she really didn't even like asking them. But I guess she want to know more she sighed inwardly.
Willow blinked and flushed. She knew how Gwen felt, having a blood-traitor sister. Her own was the same way, treating Willow like crap every chance she got. She looked up at Gwen with a grin, eyes flashing. "Thanks. Really, that means alot." Willow pondered for a moment. "I promise....I won't...be like her," she said quietly, meaning Gwen's sister. "It's nice to have someone."
She hardly ever let it out like that. She known Gwen for maybe an hour, and already she was spilling more guts than she ever had, even to Shelly. "I'll keep in touch, after your gone. Okay?" she asked, looking up. "If you ever need something from the outside, or you can't get ahold of Shadow, send me a message. I'll help where I can." Willow pulled out her wand and traced the figures from before in the air again, just to have something to do with her hands.
"Thanks," Gwen smiled softly. She nodded when Willow said that she could contact her as well. "I'll make sure to do that, I'll be sending you both parts of the same message in code so it can't be broken, I'm also working on this code personally so it is almost unbreakable to those who don't know it," she stated calmly. "But I never got your name. I'm Gwen by the way," she spoke sweetly.
She watched as Willow began to trace the figures again in the air and smiled softly. "So what do you call that code you got there?" she asked curiously.
"I'm Willow," she replied, finishing the last symbol with a flourish wave. The black smoke trailed off, and twisted, the symbols rearranging and twisting to different words only she could read. "Shelly and I never really named it. We just...went with it," she said softly, watching it spell out things at random now. "Some of it's runes from other languages, some of it's made up symbols. Only the k is still the same," Willow explained, tracing one in the air. It twisted, flipping upside down and one branch breaking off completely.
"Kinda complicated. Shelly made half, I made half." She shrugged, waved her wands, and the smoke vanished. A shower of emerald sparks, the same color as her eyes, shot from the end. "I like to mess around with illusion magic. Watch this..." She formed the words in her mind, and brought the wand down in a slicing motion. Then, walking across the table top with jerky movements was Relik, her kneazle. Or really, a shadow of him. He was just a gray mass, but in the dark, Willow had fooled a few people with it.
"Impressive, are you sure you're in the right house?" Gwen laughed as she watched the small magic show. "The stuff I do is a bit more illegal, but I guess I can show one of the more legit spells I know," she smiled as she drew out her wand and with a simple flick, the words 'Nex est tantum exordium' appeared in black and green letters. The translation was Death is only the beginning.
"So who's Shelly?" she asked interested in Willow and wanting to know more about her new "Little Sister".
ooc-It's cool. I'm kinda paranoid, got my bro reading over my shoulder. *smacks him*
God damnit Leroy. XD
bic- "That's what Torrid said," she replied with a laugh. She looked over the wispy letters with appreciation. Her's always turned out blurry and hard to distinguish. Which didn't matter because no one could read her code anyway, but it still made her self-conscious.
"Shelly's my muggle friend back home. She's the only person who thought I should go, though I know she's ticked at me." Willow smiled to herself, looking out across the hall. Then, she looked back at Gwen. "Who is your sister?"
