The packages for Ashelle where long overdo. Felix had had them for two weeks and still he had caught not but a glimpse of his prefect. The presents just collected dust in his dorm each day, only to have it wiped off the next morning. He had not taken a single peek of what they might be, but still he wondered. Soon, one morning when it was quite annoying to wipe off the ever-accumulating dust once more, Felix was determined to get them to Ashelle. But how?
She was probably always on Prefect duty’s, just as Morgan was perpetually on, and he almost never could talk to her after classes, or before for that matter seeing Felix was normally the first, and the hunted, the last. It was like she disappeared from the dorm each morning and night. Felix had waited and she had never came, what else could he try? Then it dawned on him, she must eat, right? I mean, he hoped. It was highly unlikely that the Prefect had found a spell that suppressed hunger infinitely, but it would be viable, if you found a way to convert magic into calories… That aside, Felix now had a plan to catch the Prefect. He really could have found her if he really wanted, but he kept on forgetting in truth.
Waiting in the Feasting Hall, with the two brightly colored packages, Felix scoffed down a scone and some very peppery scrambled eggs. Maybe she doesn’t eat breakfast?

((OOC: w00t, I be here! Arrrrr!))
Ashelle did eat breakfast, as a matter of fact. She just ate rather quietly near the High Table of the teachers. She had learned better than to sit way at the end near the doors long ago. That lesson had been taught to her by the lycan, Fenris Fenrir, but she and Fenrir had clashed and made up many times since then. The seeds of respect had been planted, at least on her part. Still one never knew what or who might come though that door.
Today nothing of great danger had, for which Ashelle was grateful. A student of her own house, however had walked in with some rather oddly large packages . . . Ashelle had waited to see whom they were for but the boy hadn't given them to anyone and no host of owls had swooped down to take them to some unknown recipient. Once Ashelle finished her breakfast of milk, porridge, a buttered croissant, and one breakfast sausage she got up and walked over to the boy with the packages.
"Good Morning," said Ashelle kindly. Her robes still hung loosely in some places but at least they didn't nearly drag on the floor anymore. "I was just wondering, who are those packages for? It would be awfully silly to lug them around school all day. You might want to leave them in your dorm room till after classes. I could probably help you find the person you want to give them too then, if you wish." She smiled at the boy sweetly.

There she was. It was a true miracle! As Felix finished his eggs quickly, the very girl he had tried, however so unfaithful though, to catch for quite a while had now asked him whom the packages were for. Was it just Felix, or was he the only one in the whole school who could read minds and no one was telling him? Everyone he basically he had meet had one or two things up their sleeves that had not failed to shock Felix at how they knew them. How did they do it?
As Ashelle came walking over to him, he was shocked really. Before he could think of how to phrase his statement of delivery she started to ask him all about who the package was for, what he should do with it, and she even offered to help! Weren’t Prefects suppose to be eternally busy without a second to spare? He needed a bloodhound to find Morgan around, he had never meet the head boy or girl, nor Ashelle or the two other guys that Felix had been told held the title of ‘Prefect.’
“Oh, umm… no thanks, quite aright really, actually there for you! From…” thinking back, Felix recalled the name, “Navara or something of the sorts.” Grabbing them, Felix offered them up to their rightful owner. He was sure to be greeted with a bubbly, excited, or even confused look. Grinning, Felix realized that Ashelle probably had no idea who he was.
“Oh, sorry, I’m Felix Genero. I know all about you, Morgan or Malachy might have mentioned me. I was buying a broom from Navara and, well, he ended up asking me to give them to you. Sorry I didn’t get them to you sooner, hadn’t seen you around really… umm…” Rambling, anyone who had ever meet the ambitious Gryffindor would sure to walk away confused or shocked by his loose tongue.

"N-nice to meet you Feilx." The moment Felix had metioned Navara, Ashelle seemed to catch a case of the shivers. Navara had swept her off her feet at the tender age of 14, just before he graduated, but then left her because of a family emergancy. Then he'd come back, but only to see her once, then disapperd again not a owl or anything from him. She had heard he was still around in Drakborough and that he still cared for her . . . . but then why did he not send her any letters?
Ashelle wondered what was in the packages but some how her fingers didn't seem to want to open them. Still she couldn't just leave them in Felix's posestion, she was sure he'd be shocked and let down if she didn't open them. "Navara sent these? How kind of him . . . he hasn't sent me anything for a long time, I must remember to send a thank you note." Ashelle then forced herself to sit down next to Felix and begin opening the extravagant packages.
((OOC: You know what's in these right? Feel free to post it if you know.))
Inside the bag were two small packages and a very long letter. both of the packages were festively wrapped, one decorated for Christmas, and one for Valentine's Day. Both gifts were long overdue, but circumstances had conspired against the giver. Inside the Cristmas present, there was a pure silver hair comb, featuring a mother-of-pearl stargazer lily as decoration.
In the Valentine's package was a delicate silver heart-shaped locket on one side of the locket was Navara's picture, and on the otherside was Ashelle's. the back of it was engraved with the words, 'Two people, One heart'. the front was engraved with a pretty design and in the center was a small, but stunning, diamond.
Then, of course there was the letter. It wasin a sealed envelope with Ashelle's name spelled out by an exceedingly careful hand, and in fact, Nav had gone through four other envelopes before being satisfied with how it looked. Altouhg, he'd spilt ink on the first, which he'd been happy with, so that didn't count.
The letter was four pages in length, and in it Navara poured out his heart and soul to Ashelle, telling her of his love for her, and filling her in about his childhood, and informing her that he'd acchieved his dream of owning a broom shop. The most relevant passge was the one that read:
and so, my darling Ashelle, with the BFC keeping me off the grounds, and with you being safest at school, we can not be together at the moment. I encourage you to find someone your age who can be your friend in the way I cannot. However, I do hope we can remain close, love.

Ashelle read the beautiful letter and tears began to roll down her cheeks. How dare she believe that Navara wasn't coming back for her, how dare she not get anything for him all these years! She felt shamed and alone as her own ideals got in the way of her enjoying her lovely presents. Still she could not refused them. She put the locket on and placed the hair comb gently in her hair. It fit snuggly into the princess Anne braid she wore that day.
"Oh Nav, he is so thoughtful and generous . . . he deserves better than me." She she began to shake, the war of ideals verse love in her heart making it impossible to stand or walk away right then. However unlike most wars of this kind there was to be no clear winner. Ashelle had know hardship and pain of being a Muggle without a place to belong. Now she not only had a place but the best of places, a high rank among the Purebloods of Wizarding Ireland, and she'd be damned if she'd loose such a place for a mer thing such as love. Deep down inside she was afraid of being sent back to the Muggle Orphanages for the 'crime' of loving someone not of her station. And this fear trumped any argument her heart put out.
"I am such a foul little girl." she cried to herself. "I am such a evil thing."

((Probably going to be boringish, sorry!))
Felix felt the shock, surprise and joy in Ashelle’s emotion as she stared at the gifts from Navara with great amazement. As she acknowledged Felix’s introduction, Felix could see she was simply in a daze. She was fine moments before, but when Felix mentioned the name of her lost love, her head just simply floated off her neck and her thoughts were in the clouds.
As her fingers dreamily ran along the surface of the gifts, she seemed to not want to open them at all, even though she longed to. It actually confused Felix for a moment. When Ashelle mentioned the fact of Navara’s absence of letters, Felix could only guess what was going on. Felix didn’t need any kind of gift to tell that the Prefects emotions were going haywire. As soon as she finally forced herself to sit, Felix decided to scoot back away from were the gifts were, a few inches to let Ashelle opened her presents.
Felix was shocked. These were impressive gifts! The silver comb like the moonlight that glittered with fine pearl. The locket with the shining jewel; the emotion that Ashelle showed as she first opened it and how her eyes moved from left to right as if reading something, Felix could only speculate that a picture of Navara and Ashelle was inside with some sort of inscription.
Lastly the letter; Felix couldn’t see what was written, all he could note was the fabulously paper, the Sherlock-Homes-wanna-be Gryffindor tried to keep from trying to figure out what the letter say by even by trying to develop telepathic abilities on the spot. When that failed, Felix decided to just let Ashelle read the letter in peace. Felix still was slightly confused about what was going on in the red haired student, yet still he kept quite and waited till Ashelle was done with the letter and tears started to drip down her cheeks. He knew some stuff yet he fear of jumping to conclusions.
The comment that Ashelle first made actually shocked Felix, he thought that if anything, even if she would not admit it in a million years, that she would think that she was too good for anyone if anything. Was she really so confused with Navara? She was the one who was a prefect, nurse and a pureblood witch with a good heritage who had successfully started and make a point against a powerfully ruling leadership in the land to defend a species not her own (he had done his research), Navara was the outcast in this all.
“No. No you’re not at all! It’s perfectly reasonable to be confused and mixed up in life; life that right now is so full of dreamlike complexity these days! You are no evil! Or foul! You—uh…”
Felix realized there was no way in the world it was in his place to say such things to a superior, stopping mid sentence, Felix hung his head a little and put on the ‘guiltyoops’ face.

"You don't understand Felix," she cried quietly. "There are other ranks besides how pure your blood is out there. Navara is just too sweet a guy for such a cold hearted idealist like me. I don't deserve him in the slightest. I . . . " she sobbed quietly. How could she be so cruel in her thoughts to him? How could she stand to be so hurtful and deceiving. Gryffindors didn't do these things, a Real Gryffindor would be brave and never mind what anyone would say about who they loved or did not love. A true Gryffindor would ride out to Nav's new shop now and congratulate him and tell him she loved him for all he'd done and all he'd gone through and thank him for staying true to her even though they'd been apart for so long.
But no, she wanted to hide in her loft room and take Nav's presents and lock them in her drawer never to be seen or looked at again except for now and then. Ashelle wished the floor to swallow her up now and to never have to see anyone or anything ever again. Who could you be true to, those who held your station, who had taken you in when you had nothing or to a Half-breed only now coming into his money who held your heart in the palm of his dark hand?
" i want to go home," hiccuped Ashelle, painfully aware she had no true home to retreat to other than her castle and into the arms of those she was slowly starting to hate for all there rules and unforgiving ways.

Felix had to actually be glad that Ashelle would open up to him. At least she wasn’t going to try and hide her feelings as everyone else in the world tried to do. It seemed Gryffindors were not only bold in their fears, but also in their words of even the most personal of times. He tried to not intrude Ashelle’s troubles, but she seemed to need any piece of comfort she got.
Felix was taken aback at how much Ashelle guessed exactly what he was talking about, maybe he wasn’t the only one who could read peoples emotions like a book. Sure, Navara was a nice guy, but from what Felix was hearing from Ashelle, she was basing everything she loved just because she doubted the love of Navara for a second. Navara who she hadn’t seen for years as only a thought in the distance fairytale land.
As Ashelle stopped her rant, her thoughts were so filled with emotion that it was like Felix could hear her ever thought. Maybe he was getting good at this mind reading thing…
“Home? This is home! This is more a home then anything else in the world could ever be! Be true to your self and don’t care what the rest of the world thinks of your life! Navara deserves you just as much as you deserve him, don’t let anything change that. I know I’m totally intruding in your personal life, but this is the true! Just don’t do anything stupid to show your love for him, but even if danger is between you, nothing should keep you apart! Being brave in all this can harm more then it can help, but still that doesn’t mean you should just cry and feel sorry for yourself. Listen, I travel to Drakborough a lot, just as a lot of students do, I can bring your letter back and forth. They’re ways to get around the lurking danger of your relationship! Dying to all or being foolish and brave isn’t the only two options if you ask me!”
Felix only paused to take a breath, but then he realized he best stop and see if Ashelle was about to curse, jinix him or herself.
