Chika was starving. It was around 2 in the after noon and she hadn't had a bite to eat since breakfast. Chika was so hungry, that her stomic growled. The growling stomic could be heard from all the way down the coridor.
As chika approced the feasting hall her head filled with thoughts of food she wanted to eat. She couldn't honestly figgure out which food she wanted to eat first. Even her thughts were making her hungry now.
Chika couldn't wait any more. She started to run down the stairs of the arch. She ran so fast she almost lost her footing. As she reached the bottom of the stairs she trippd and curlled up into a ball.
Chika rolled down the hall way and into the feasting hall. She hit the Hufflepuff table and came to a halt. she then uncurled and floped on the floor. She rubbed her head as she flopped.
Chika picked herself off the ground and Brushed herself off. She properly took a seat at the table. An assortment of tasty foods appeared before her. Chika eyed all the food, she wasn't sure what to eat first. She sat there an pondered on the thought a bit

Ashelle had jumped out of the way to avoid the rolling personage, and had stood by shocked as the person shaped ball turned out to be Chika Chisama. Once Chika had gotten herself seated Ashelle determined that the growling she'd assumed to be coming from the 3rd year's Care of Magical Creatures class was in reality coming from Chika's middle. She careful walked over to the girl and noted the yummy foods on the table.
"The meat pie is particularly filling and delicious this time of year." She suggested. "If you are a vegetarian, the Apple Tarte Tatin quiet lovely also." She waited to see which one Chika might grab before making any other suggestions.
Jeremy, soaked to the bone by melted snow and his blone hair dusted with flakes, found himself in the Firefox Dining Hall. The cafeteria, the commons, the cafe, the big whatever. Whatever it was, Jeremy could smell food. On the way, some person promptly tripped on the steps and rolled.
Curious, he followed.
The person bounced up and took a seat at a table, only to be joined by yet another person. Jeremy didn't recognize either of them, which was hardly surprising, considering he'd only arrived at Firefox University the day before.
There was a girl with fiery hair, and she quickly rattled off as if she were reading from a brochure. It was, to say the least, amusing. Hands clasped behind his back, wand tucked behind his ear and his scarf dangling icicles, Jeremy dared to approach.
"Hi! Mind if join you?" He gave them a smile only described as charming. Jeremy might have had an ego the size of Montana, but he could still be friendly. "I'm Jeremy Kullman."
Yes, I am new here, he finished mentally. Naturally, neither of them would hear him, but he was reminding himself. Or just being stupid. It was hard to tell with Jeremy. He beamed at the girl with red hair. "What do recommend for battle against the cold?
The growling of Arin's stomach was what drove her out of her room, but once she saw that the last available seat (at least, the last one that she could see, and she was in no mood to push her way through the crowds just to try and find a bit of peace and quiet) was with three ridiculously happy people, she almost decided to go back to her room and try and concoct her own lunch. At least, until she remembered how badly it had ended last time she tried to turn a pile of dust into a peanut butter sandwich.
Seeing no other choice, she sat down next to Jeremy and grabbed a roll, smearing a bit of butter upon it with a bored attitude. It wasn't that she was angry- far from it, in fact. She just disliked being around people that she didn't know well, and it had an unfortunate effect on her temper.
Chika had finally decided what she wanted to eat. Chika was about to pick up a meat pie and eat it, when she herd footsteps behind her. Chika turned around to see who was approaching her. It was Ashelle and she was suggesting some food that might be good. " I agree the meat pies are most wonderful but so is the Apple Tarte Tatin. I think tough i shall have the meat pie. Thank you for your suggestions." Chika made sure to be plight.
Just as chika took a big bite of the pie, she herd more foot steps. This time it was a boy soked from head to toe. The boy looked worn and his wand hung from his ear. He asked if he could join. " Why of coaurs you can. What happend to you, You look like you've just beeen through war. Wait don't tell me you met my cousin Alice. She is the snowball queen. she's a nasty little bugger, she is. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Hope if you did meet her she went easy on you." Chika chukled.
Chika reached over and grabbed a cup of hot coco. " You should have some of this." Chika held out the mug for the boy to take. "But it's nice to meet you Jeremy, I'm Chika Chisama." Chika figured it was best to let Ashelle introduce herself.
Chika then watched as a girl sat down, buttered a roll and ate it. She didn't look like she wanted to talk, so Chika left her alone. Chika knew that if the girl had any need to talk she would.

"You are very welcome Chika," replied Ashelle, "Have a good lunch." she was about to turn away and go to her own table, when a be-soaked boy came over and asked her how to fight cold. Ashelle hadn't seen him around before and realized he must be new.
Wait, a new kid was asking her for help? The Head Girl that no one ever asked for help from? This must be her lucky day! "Well for right now I would suggest a drying spell such as," and she paused whipped out her wand and cast; "Exaresco!" The young mans clothes quickly dried till they were as good as when he put them on. "In the future I suggest you cast 'Impervius' on your clothes before heading out into snow or rain. It will protect them from wetness in the first place." She smiled at him, hoping she'd helped. "If you ever need any more advice feel free to call on me, my name is Ashelle O'Conner, I'm the Head Girl."
Again Ashelle turned to head to her own table when she saw a seemingly perturbed young lady sit beside Chika. According to the crest on her robes she was a Hufflepuff also. Ashelle shrugged and kept walking, if things got bad she'd come back over to straighten them out, bur for now everything seemed to be in order.
