From simply looking at the scorpion, the only dangers the elementalist saw were the tail and the claws. This was a mistake. First was...actually he wasn't sure. Something he didn't get a good enough glimpse of that was spikey and unpleasant and came out as a result of his own attack, leaving him injured. Next was black goo. Yamaroshi watched as it flew toward him, and considered his three options. He could side step it, which was impossible, block it with earth magic, which somehow seemed like it would take too much effort, or he could apparate, which he did, just before the goo hit him.
Once again, he was facing the legged side of the scorpion, only farther away to give him more time if it turned. For some reason, removing its legs did not seem to prevent it from moving. He needed a new plan.
Wishing he had an ally, he suddenly remembered Kamaroshi. Quickly reaching into his pocket, he pulled out the stone containing his dog's spirit. He then threw it into the air, pointed his wand at it and shouted the incantation for the levitation spell. It shot up, and the ceiling above it as well as the floor where the Scorpion stood cracked, forming very jagged rocks which converged on, roughly forming the shape of a human, though without fingers, toes or a head, and maybe a bit lopsided.
Yamaroshi did not take the time to stare up at Kamaroshi, who was much larger than usual. Instead he apparated behind the scorpion again. Kick his ass for me he said to Kam with his mind.
TERRAE STALAGMITE, he shouted as loudly as possible. Yet another large, spikey thing shout out of the ground, only beneath the scorpion. If things went right, it would impale the thing as Kamaroshi beat the rest of the life out of it.
