Malachy grinned knowing that Venom was now coursing through the witches veins. Sning slithered its way back to Malachy. Malachy knelt down and picked the little snake back up. He stood up as Sning wrapped himself back around Malachy's finger. It wouldn't take long for the venom to take affect. "I bet you could, however I must decline such an invitation." He said with a sneer as he pulled out his wand.

Breathing heavily, Tohni watched as the small silver snake slithered back to the boy's finger. Dropping her wand back to her pocket, she raised her palm to her head. Dizziness was starting to set in as she tried to keep herself steady. Seeing him gather his wand, the witch made to grasp her own once more, but had to give up her attempt and steady herself by holding onto the tree. "A shame, I know he'll be looking forwards to meeting you..." she whispered.
Her blue eyes flickered up from the wand to meet the boy's gaze, a small sense of dread in her expression. "You don't have the guts," she growled.
"Oh, I have the guts. And I have every reason to attack you while your weak. However I need to avoid prison if I want to achieve anything. And Let the muggle come, and challenge a wizard. I'm 17 I can use any means I want to defend myself, and the law against using magic in front of muggles doesn't in case of defense." He said withe a sly grin.
He walked up to her and grabbed her by her chin, and kept his wand pointed at her chest. "You know, I think you could do with a bit of amnesia." He said as he looked into her eyes and began his own search. of her mind. "What will your father do when you completely forget your mission?" He said raisin his slick black wand to her temple. Her eyes where unfocused and her face was pale and clammy. "Obliviate." He said as he focused on the memories of the past day.

Yelping softly as he lifted her chin, Tohni smiled closing her eyes slightly. She grasped his wrist for support as he looked into her eyes. "He'd kill me..." she muttered, swaying drowzily. For a split second she was too late to realise what Malachy ahd meant. His spell hit her, causing her to gasp, holding him tight so that she did not fall to the ground.
A few silent tears trickled down her cheeks as she clung to him, her eyes closed in confusion and of the venom. She was just... so tired.

Having noticed his rival heading down to the dueling fields, Shadow had followed in silence - daring not to be seen after the other days events. He had hugged him. He had hugged Malachy. Shadow shivered at the thought.... and invited him to a wedding.
The teen's footsteps had slowed down rapidly at the sighting of the witch. It had taken all of his physical resistance to stop himself from attacking her there and then. instead he kept out of sight, watching. Shadow's eyes widdenned in shock and horror as Malachy shouted at Tohni, speaking of his father. He moved forwards, behind the white haired teen, approaching as Tohni was bit by Sning.
Fair enough. He hated that thing too.
Crossing his arms as he stood only a couple of metres behind the pair, a small smirk crossed his features. He looked at his sister as tears fell down her cheeks, raising a hand sarcastically. "Poor poor girl... you failed."
Malachy turned and almost did a double take at hearing Shadow. Great now his other cousin was here he knew by Shadows reaction that he had approved of what Malachy had just done, and suddenly felt guilt for not turning him in. He still remembered what had happened the other day. He had been a bit too affectionate with his younger cousin.
Still, he had meant to protect his cousin, and now he new some people that he could talk to so he had done much for himself as well. So he decided to at least play a long. This was the one thing that Shaow and himself had been in agreement about. That Shaows father was an evil man and had inflicted enough pain. "She's not feeling well at the moment. I'm afraid. Some one should get her to the Hospital wing so they can take to a more capable hospital." He said with with sinister grin. "One that muggles have little access to."

(feel free to god mode me a bit.. I doubt I'm capable of much)
Still hopelessly clinging to the white haired boy, through her tear filled eyes, Shadow's figure was simply a blur. She could remember his voice, from along time ago, but not why she was here with him. And this boy she held onto, she knew nothing about him. Maybe he was helping her... she didn't feel too well at the moment.
The two figures conferred slightly, their voices swimming and drowning her mind. They vaguely had meaning. "Don't let me fall. Don't let me fall!" she whispered, barely consious as the venom intoxicated her blood.

Waving his hand sarcasticly at his sister's weakness, he smirked and moved closer to the duo. Raising an eyebrow at her whisperings, he muttered softly in reply, "You won't fall sugar." He closed his eyes briefly, prying her away from his cousin and slipping a pale hand into the pocket of her robes. Pulling out the contents, he surveyed the few galleons and sickles before replacing them in his own. There's nothing here... he sighed angrily, finding no note or sign from his father.
"Oh, we don't have to help her so soon... she's weak, is she not?"
Malachy could see that all Shadow wanted was revenge. However Malachy saw other possibilities. Her mind was very malleable right now and she was confused and scared. Not to mention weak for the venom coursing through her veins. He looked down at her tear filled eyes. na dLefted her up so that she wasn't hanging on to him that much.
"And her mind is malleable. I say we help her now. We could make it so that her father never does this to her again." He said. Malachy was planning on planning thins on her father. bringing her to there side. If they attacked her she would still be against Shadow.

"I've lived under her mark for too many years... Ever since I came to this place, there was a chance of being followed - Do you think I will just let her go?" Shadow snarled, glaring at Malachy and speaking in an angry whisper. "How exactly are you planning on doing that? He's a muggle, but he's not an idiot. Send her back and allow him to kill her, or allow me to do it now... I have no reason to help her, she is a traitor to my family and that damned 'black soot' you spoke of when we first met!"
"Whatever you did to her, she's weak enough, just ditch her and get on with the day," he sighed angrily, turning away and clutching his head with a wince. He needed to leave now, his mental issues had been slowly driving him insane over the past few weeks. Growing maddness inside of him, causing him to lash out at pretty much everyone he saw - even Gwen.
"Give me one reason to help her, or allow me to leave."
Malachy thought about his words glaring at how narrow and short minded he was being. He needed to look at the bigger picture or else get stuck and go nowhere in life. One good reason? there where hundreds of good reasons not to do what he was wanting to do right now. Very few of which would sway shadows opinion but in his rant he had left his heart wide open.
"I'll give you a reason. By condemning her you are allowing your father to kill another person in your family. You are giving him the satisfaction he wants. By condemning her you become more like your good-for-nothing father." He said coldly to his cousin.

A normal, sane person's blood would boil, Shadow's fury was thirteen times worse. His hands grasped Malachy's collar tight, his eyes dark with rage as he stared at him. "I AM NOTHING LIKE MY FATHER!"
This guy knew too much about the wild-haired teen. The past and the present. Hell, he was the only one to see Shadow cry openly. Then again, he hadn't meant for him to see, he had just happenned to pass by. He'd never allowed real tears to show, not even infront of Gwen. "You think you know me so well, because you're snide enough to steal from me, because you believe that you know more about my life than I do. Maybe you're right, but you do not speak to me like that," he snarled, dropping his hands.
Malachy's words hit home hard, stabbing the teen with a truth he refused to accept. His anger was out of control and he'd already lashed out at his cousin - hurting someone as his father had done to him. Something he swore never to do.
"I will never be like him. I will never walk his same footstesp... never."
