ooc- I'm gonna go ahead and communicate with Orca, then I guess we'll wait on Seth. Orca, just so you know, this is gonna be at least a three-part thread. xD We gotta figure out how to work you in.
bic-
Willow caught a welcome, familiar scent but was to focused on the situation at hand to react to it. Ignoring the white wolf off to her left, she made as if to jump Seth, but someone else got there first. The wolf, the real one, who was tiny in comparison to Seth, even smaller than Willow was. A bird, the one she'd spotted earlier, broke into a dive as if to take out Seth's eyes.
What could she do? She'd gotten in way over her head. But if she'd just left Seth alone, he would have gotten into trouble sooner...Maybe she could take him down, hurt him enough to keep him in the woods until daylight.
Seth, stop! That thing belong to someone, don't hurt them! You want food, right? It was a long shot, but maybe she could distract him long enough for Orca to do something. That's not real food, are you stupid? Or are you just too much of a wuss to go after the real prey?
Crazy, Willow thought. I've gone insane. Fenrir is going to kill me.
Snarling, Willow stepped sideways just as Orca entered the fray, shouting mentally at the witch-familiar wolf. This is getting out of hand. Orca pulled back out of the fight and stepped up to Willow. She whined softly, turning her attention to the snow white wolf.
Orca, that's someone's familiar, she moaned, looking at the torn body of the rabbit. She bounced from paw to paw. Her next words were just specifically to Orca. Seth wouldn't be able to hear her. Look, I'm trying to distract him. If I can get him to leave, follow us, and if you can find an opening, get him, she finished, ears swiveling. Her emerald eyes flickered back to the fight.
Orca's comment brought a grim smile to her snout, more of a pained smile. If I'm lucky, he won't find out.
