"Two birds with one stone then, right? I get what I want. He gets to go to peace a little bit sooner. I wouldn't have it any other way."
Shit. Draven hadn't thought about that. Sticking close to Zeph would make it that much easier to take both of them down at once. He wasn't about to give Gabe that pleasure. He placed his hand on Zeph's arm, silently commanding him to stay in place when Draven moved off to the side. He still had his wand pointed at Gabriel. "He won't be at peace until you're dead or behind bars. He knows you were the one behind his murder." Spirits knew everything. That was Draven's belief. To die was to discover the truths of the world. Whoever the man was, he knew Zephyrus hadn't wanted to kill him.
"I won't have to touch him, you both seem to be all talk to me. And you're holding that wrong."
All talk, huh? Dead wrong there, honestly. Draven just didn't have a plan right at the moment. He glanced over at Zeph to see if he'd had a sudden inspiration, a sudden shout caught his attention.
"Gabbyyyy, watch out!"
Gabriel jumped to the side just as some unseen, unspoken spell cut his arm. It might have been smarter to keep focused on the injured man at that moment, since pain could make people unpredictable, but Draven had to know who had cast that spell. Who else was here? The first person he saw was a young man with messy hair. The one that had shouted, so unlikely to have been the one to launch the spell. He didn't have a wand out anyway. It wasn't until he looked past the stranger that he caught a glimpse of rainbow colored hair. His breath caught in his throat. "Layne!" Shit, what was she doing here?
"'Scuse me, heyyyy! Motherfuckers, you really need to relax! I mean, haha, I know from experience Gabby over thar c'n throw one of his damn knives tons faster than any shitty spell you c'n do...Ooh! That goes for me too, haha. Don't spell me, okay? Gosh, I just hate magic."
The brunette was immediately written off as a nutter, but that didn't mean he was harmless. Draven took his eyes off Layne and focused on the stranger, his wand moving away from Gabriel to point at him. "If you're on his side," a quick tilt of the head towards Gabriel, "I'm afraid I will have to 'spell you.' Not my fault you're siding with the wrong person." He was a bit loathe to turn on someone he didn't even know, but that someone appeared to be allied with Gabriel. The friend of the enemy was also the enemy.
"What kind of 'justice' did you have in mind? Murder? Even she had the gall to use some sort of destructive spell...Expelliarmus."
Zeph ran at Gabriel, leaving Draven by himself. "Zephyrus!" He turned to Orca. That guy was going to try and stop Zeph, he just knew it. Draven wasn't going to give him that chance. He'd stun him before he got that chance. "Stupefy!" Whether the spell hit or not, Draven would then run towards Orca, grabbing one of his arms before stopping behind him, holding said arm behind Orca's back. Whether the stunning spell had worked or not, it definitely would have worn off at this point so Draven would be having a hell of a time restraining his opponent. He looked over at Layne. "Layne, a little help here!"
