Orca caressed Teagan's face and cupped her chin, instantly making her white smile widen. And, for some reason, she really liked being this close to him. He even kept eye contact with her for so long... It was as though hundreds of butterflies suddenly went a-whirl in her stomach. No one before had dared to look straight at her for so long, and certainly not in such proximity...
It wasn't like she'd ever had a boyfriend before or anything, and it was kind of nice.
He seemed to run out of words. All of Teagan's insecurities vanished in an instant. It seemed that maybe, just maybe, he was beginning to return her affections.
The magnificent man glanced away from her. She saw the most adorable flush line his handsome face.
She relaxed, cunningly moving her body much, much closer to Orca.
"Well, I've returned to you, haven't I?" she teased, narrowly avoiding his question. Compared to the temperature of the cold October air, Orca was wonderfully warm. So very wonderfully warm... She wanted to embrace him like a heating blanket and even persuade him to heat up her lips as well, but she kept her word when she kept her word. Abandon her employer in a life-threatening trap because of a long-held grudge when she was supposed to be his bodyguard? Yes. Break a rather precise promise to the one she loved? Never.
But, then again, she'd only given her word to be "good"--nothing was ever said about her kissing him.
The Monolayre gently brushed his hand aside from her face and nuzzled his neck. He felt... so very, very nice. She swore she would not forget this night no matter how long she lived. Even if these feelings were to fade as soon as they appeared, she would never forget Him.
It occurred to her that she was completely lying against Orca. But, then again, Teagan really didn't care. She let her lips come within centimeters of his ear.
"You know what, Orca? We should all play baseball together again."
