Jeremy walked to the front gate of the Salamandra Family mansion, which he wanted to attempt a break in, and then hopefully leave with an item from the mansion. Mikayla, and Max were probably going to join with him, but no one else, even though he wanted more to join them. He knew this could cost Mikayla's and Max's their life it could cost him his own life, and if he did survive, his life in the school. But Jeremy didn't know how anyone would find out, it was only Mikayla, Max, and himself, and he knew that neither of them said or written anything about the plan. The only evidence that they could use was the book that he had gotten from the library about the Salamandra Family. If they ask me about it, I will just say I had high interest in the Salamandra Family, but I would never dare an attempt on breaking in their mansion. I know for sure I would be killed, Jeremy thought, plotting what he would say if accused. Then he thought about his life in Gryffindor, and if he could maintain his position as Prefect. He felt he could keep it easily if he wasn't caught, but he didn't know what would happen if he were to get caught, nor did he want to think about it. Jeremy looked into the attic, through a window. "Man it looks creepy in there," he quietly said. It didn't hurt his feelings about his plan, he would go with it no matter what happens beforehand.
Jeremy wanted to do this, because there were no records of anyone being able to get out after they went in. He wanted an item from the home, so he could look at it to remind him of how brave he really was, whenever he felt down or weak. Jeremy wondered if Mikyla and Max would want an item for there selves, or if they would be content with just the feeling of triumph, and bravery. He opened the locked gate, with a metal safety pin. He learned this when his family locked themselves out by accident, when he came home from school. At that time he was the only one without a key to any of the doors. Jeremy started walking through the gate, terrified, but determined. He didn't look back to see if Mikayla or Max were behind him, because he didn't want to start a discussion. Jeremy hid in tall grass, studying the house, and all of the ways out. The only was he saw was the front door, and the windows. He didn't want to commit vandalism, he just wanted to be one of the first people to go in and out of the mansion, and have proof. Jeremy was happy that Mikayla joined him, he didn't know what he would do without her. He wondered though if Max would joined, he seemed a little uncertain.
The blond haired boy saw a hopping frog, and pulled out his wand. With a flick of his wand, and with the word, "Stupefy,!" the frog was stunned. Jeremy was happy that it worked, it was the first time he used this spell. "If things gets tough, I will just use that spell," he said quietly to himself, or Mikayla, depending where she was located. Jeremy wondered if magic can work on them, and if they could die. He thought they should be able to, because they seemed to be like a regular family, just with a curse. Jeremy didn't want to hurt them, he just wondered if they could die. Jeremy then slipped his wand back into his pocket. His hood was still on his head, and he was ready to go in. He looked at the front door, and bolted to the side the stairs that led up to the door. He hid himself well enough so no one in the mansion could see him, even through windows. Jeremy closed his eyes, and quietly wished for good luck on his mission. He didn't want to leave any evidence behind him, so he didn't want to leave traces of his presence, but didn't look to see if there were any, nor would he of cared at that time. He knew it was the right time. Quickly he pulled himself over the stairs, and opened the door. Jeremy quietly entered the mansion, and ducked behind stairs that led upstairs, waiting for Mikayla.
His heart was pounding, he listened for any noises. Jeremy heard nothing, nothing besides his deep breaths, that came from excitement and a smaller amount of fear. He looked for any items in the room, which was like the entrance hall. Jeremy saw nothing in particular that stood out as unique, or important. Should I risk my life for this? For some reason the blond haired boy kept asking himself that. It would be too late to turn back now, but Jeremy had to ask himself another question, "Was there even a good reason to do this in the beginning?" He hit himself for his own stupidity. If anything was going to get him caught it would be because of something dumb that Jeremy had done or said. He looked around again, and was ready to run into the next room, but waited. Jeremy had no idea where anyone was, and was too paranoid to look behind himself. He believed that the Salamandra Family would appear if he did that. Jeremy knew that they looked like regular people, and he wondered to himself, Was it the curse that caused them to be evil, are they even evil? Jeremy knew he was wasting precise time, but knew the slower they do this, there would be less chance on making a mistake, so he waited even longer.bg
