Guts like smelly, knotted ropes spilled to the floor. Gabriel scowled, tearing the knife away and waiting to see what happened next. He might as well. It didn't have to go in turns, but Gabriel didn't mind playing a little bit fair while in a fight like this ...
His head throbbed. Not from the blow, but from the headaches that plagued Gabriel at random, and horribly. He paused, raising the blood, broken fingers to his temple. Ow. When he looked up again, the boy had dropped dear Jed's corpse and was going ... somewhere ... to get ...
A plank.
The expression on the creature's face was one rather disarming. Gabriel stared at him for a moment, quirking a brow and unsure exactly what to do.
"Mad," he echoed. The joyless chuckle rumbled in his throat. As the boy turned back around Gabriel dropped the knife completely, abandoning it and leaving it near Jed's .... was that the small intestine? Eck. In that small moment of distraction the stranger slammed the board down. Gabriel gritted his teeth, letting out a small cry. Sonofabitch.
"I must be," he mumbled. "To have let you done that." It was in deep, but ... had it hit an artery?
Gabriel had the feeling he would take longer to heal - and bleed out faster - than this thing here. The Ravenclaw jerked his wand out of his pocket and bellowed. "Locomotor Mortis."
For good measure ....
"Conjuctivitus!" The charm - although not permanent - would blind his victim momentarily. Long enough for Gabriel's scattered thoughts to collect and think of a different spell.
Or to kill him.
