Felix seemed as uncertain about Korodin as Yamaroshi was. Why he would want to teach at Firefox University was a mystery, and now he had gone...missing? Or something like that. The safest thing was not to trust him either way. "I'm not sure what to think," he said quietly.
Then Felix asked him if he could contact him. Of course this wasn't a problem, apart from the fact that Yamaroshi wouldn't know how Felix could contact him. "I guess it's okay," he said. "If we can find a way."

It seemed Yamaroshi had nothing to tell Felix of Syrus either. But he was sure to show up soon, sometime. One can’t hide forever, not in this world.
The young Gryffindor was relived that Yamaroshi didn’t see it a problem to be contacted, he feared that he might be viewed as trying to get information that he could turn against the wizard or something. So, he was paranoid with such things, it would probably save his life thought someday. A problem was still there though, of how to get contact between an almost hermit wizard and ever-active student. They were the most obvious choices, but Felix feared them to be not possible.
“Uh, were do you live? Any place you normally go? Like a certain pub or shop? How does the rest of the world contact you?” Felix considered giving the wizard a precious piece of his magical messaging paper that had proven so helpful to Morgan and him, but in the end, the young wizard decided otherwise.

'Where do you live?' was a question Yamaroshi really didn't want to answer these days. It was simply too...embarassing. He lived in a hole by the shining lake. That's where all of his possessions were, and where he slept, therefore it was the only valid answer to Felix's question. "I live in a hole..." he began reluctantly. "By the shining lake."
He paused, not wanting to continue. "And I'm usually around the grounds."

So, Felix’s perception of the Yamaroshi was right, he did wake up in a hole. A pleasant enough place to live, a little dirty, very nature-ly, probably hell when it rains, but still, a nice place to live. The young Gryffindor was surprised, but still wasn’t shocked. He really respected this guy, living in a hole to protect some random kids who get into trouble just because some insane guy with an army of dead people tells you to. And, this crazy guy, you haven’t seen in forever.
Completely calm, Felix just acted normal. There was no reason to say anything other. “Around grounds then? Great, I’ll keep an eye out for your, hmm, home. But, yeah, thank you so much for all the information, it will be safe with me, at least to the ears of people who you don’t want to know it, or maybe… yeah, it’s, uh.” Blabber mouth. “Thank you.”

Yamaroshi was relieved that Felix didn't do the 'Oh My God You Live In A Hole?' thing he expected. So, Felix would contact him while he was on the grounds if he needed to.
"Sounds good," he said simply. Anyways, I think you mentioned a Guballegop?"
Post by Felix I. Genero on Mar 29, 2008 14:38:02 GMT -5
Felix had to smile, he forgot about the Guballegop. Quoting his exact thoughts, Felix loved his photographic memory.
"Yeah, a Gugallegob. A small creature about the size, shape, and color of a peach. It had no mouth or nose, just ears and eyes. It can Apparate anywhere it pleases, wither magic induces or not. It sounds like a babies first word, but it really is a creature of the utmost intriguing specimen. The creature would be like a video camera with sound, to anywhere you want. It is small and inconspicuous. If anyone tries to eat it, it would just disappear. But a slight problem still remains, it cannot relay what it sees and hears, seeing the lack of vocal cords. Unless, of course, one uses Legilimency, but seeing that the Gugallegop is highly attuned to magic, one small glimpse into it’s, peachy brain and it would vanish in an induce. So, the next step is to train such a creature. One can’t trap it and force it’s corporation, and also one cannot give it treats."
"It seems to only existed to annoy ambitious thirteen-year-old wizards from Gryffindor House like me. Why you wondering?"

Yamaroshi smiled widely, recalling his days wizard school.
"When I was in fifth year, my Care of Magical Creatures professor challenged her students to trap a Guballegop, which is supposedly impossible. Some people tried to put it in a jar with an anti-apparating barrier around it, which didn't work for some reason or another. Others tried to beat it up, but it kept apparating away before they could. But I, being the most clever of the students turned it into a peach. The magic didn't last very long, but my solution worked much better than any of the other students so...I got the credit!"
To conclude, Yamaroshi gave a slight nod to complement his wide grin.

Felix was impressed. Yamaroshi had solved something that Felix had tried to accomplish for hours. Sure, the wizard was two years older then Felix was when he did it, but still.
"Transfiguration! You are a genius! But a permanent transfiguration would probably still wear off seeing how extraordinarily magically unaffected they are. Well, congratz on getting that far on it, I’ll have to look more into it more, it would be a wizarding phenomena though! Imagine a creature like that at your command. I read they have a good memory to help them avoid spells that are tried a second time, but they would be amazing! Well… another dream that I’ll probably waste my days on… when I’m not scheming against Shadows and large wolf legends who happen to live in the backwoods of the University."
