((Aww. Poor Silvie! *Imagines the firstie doing just that*))
*NOTE TO ALL: I'm leaving the site with this character, but look for a new, older Ravie to come in at the beginning of the school year next year who actually knows something about magic and can participate in the main plots without the need for the teachers who aren't here. Thanks. ((AND YES, I AM REALLY A GIRL IRL!!!)) *Shock of shocks*
Malachy could tell he was loosing the Raven Claw and Felix was making everything worse. "Felix, enough!" He said, Then he looked the Silvain. Where Felixes gryffindor brave heart speach failed. the cold hard guile of a Slytherin could provide would prevail. "Slivain wait." Assuming Silvain would stop to listen he continued. "You are right, there is a fine line between courage and stupidity. But the problem here is Felix is clueless when uit comes to seeeing where that line crosses. He needs brains, and you are some one he trusts. He won't force you to do anything you don't want to do especially. If you can show how you want it worked out. As much as it may seem he is not the leader of this group, all of you are, if he's being stupid correct his mistakes. Tell him exactly what you believe is right, I believe he's a good enough freind to at the very least listen and take what you know, and believe into consideration." He said. calmly hopeing the Raven claw would listen to what he had to say. "And if their is anything you wond to know ask. Do so, and felix, use your Gryffindor chivalry for once , instead of your pride."

Malachy finally decided to just tell Felix to shut up; it was the best move yet made during the whole entire meet. Betwixt the too of them, they might be able to convince someone to rob a bank with them. The slyness of Malachy’s tongue was quite impressive. Now if only Toby gave a humility and loyalty speech, there would be no way that Silvain could leave.
Malachy’s words were quite true, and they were something he would definably have to think about. His own personal line of bravery and stupidity was very thin indeed, and dragging others over it would not be what a good friend would do. What would they do without Malachy there? The first meeting would be their last and friendships would have been serverly scared. When Malachy told Felix to use his Gryffindor chivalry for once, instead of his pride, Felix could only smile and look down at the floor for how true it was.
Wanting to apologize to Silvain, and even Malachy, Felix stopped himself knowing that he had already talked too much here and too much damage was done by his words.

These two were seriously underestimating the pure stubbornness of the little Ravie. Silvain had indeed paused and turned back to listen to Malachy, whom he more or less respected, but that hadn't made much of a difference in his "I'm a Ravenclaw, and I knooow I'm right" heart.
"I don't have any questions," he said darkly. "I think this whole thing isn't right, and I just don't wanna be a part of it. This club or whatever was made to do wrong things purposely, for no other reason than to just to break rules and try to get away with it,which is just wrong. I don't want to do bad things for no reason. It's stupid, and risky with no reward. I just don' wanna do it. That's all."
Was it really so hard to understand? It wasn't about listening, or chivalry, or bravery. It was about what was right and what was wrong. Breaking rules was wrong. If bravery meant bravery to do things that might get him in trouble, then the entire Gryffindor House had just sunk to Slytherin levels in Silvain's eyes. And he was determined to not undermine the integrity of the smart Ravenclaws.

Finally, little Toby piped up. He'd let the others talk, since they'd seemed to really need to, and Toby was more willing to listen to the others anyway. His brown eyes swept the other three: first the brave, but insane Gryffie; the slick, but unfamiliar Slytherin; and lastly, the intelligent, but withdrawn Ravenclaw. He stood up, Stood up to his full height (it wasn't much, but it was the impression he was trying to make), and he opened his mouth. Silently he wished he was as tall, and that his voice was as loud and deep, as his brother Greg was.
"Listen," he squeaked, then cleared his throat. When he spoke again, his voice was still in the higer register of a small child, b ut it didn't squeak.
"Listen," he said, "If Silvain wants to go, let him. In fact, I think I'll go with him. I'm not interested in Felix's ideas for this club. I'm friends with Felix and Silvain anyway, I don't need a club to prove it. Malachy, it was nice to meet you, I wish you were a first year, like us, I bet we could have had a lot of fun. I think friends should just look out for each other, like what Malachy was saying. But, if Felix thinks we should all be 'going after adventure', or however he said it, he asked the wrong kids."
He turned to follow Silvain out of the room. He wasn't mad at Felix, but the whole, adventure trip wasn't Toby's deal. Toby was more the snowball fighting type, then the sneaking outta bed type.

((Malachy, can I ask you to stop "Assuming they would all stay" or "Assuming they would all" do something? Because Silvain actually would have left at that point, really not caring about these random four other wizards of decades ago...))

(alright then) Malachy had almost lost and he needed them to have something to work for or they would dissolve, and Malachy's chess game against Shadow's rebellion would be without pawns. That was it he had to tell them who they where fighting against. "So I guess teaching Shadow that what he's been doing is wrong, is a bad idea. Maybe all Slytherins should be like him. This whole thing was mostly my idea. Not Felix's and it seems that without some sort of organized student group to stop it other Slytherins will get the idea that it's okay to promote the fear and hatred. I was only trying to show Slytherins could do just as much good as bad but i guess I was wrong and shadow was write." He said with a defeated voice. as if he was about to just give up. he hoped that the truth as well as the threat of a potential friend becoming an enemy would Help in c=keeping them on his side. (This is meant to replace my last post, the one before Toby's.)

((OOC: Toby said that he’s not planning to repost.))
BIC: All of Toby and Silvain’s words, and even Malachy’s, stung. Felix never imagined that it would turn out this way, he imagined great fun adventures, not clear defiance, just not exactly following all the rules and regulations. This wasn’t a group of bandits, Felix had no intentions of meaning what he said, and he meant it in a different way. Fun was going to come there way, might as well have it together. But, the prideful, arrogant, idiotic Gryffindor kid and his big mouth had just taken the dream and squished it under a gigantic mountain like Zeus did to Typhon. Felix’s words had done enough harm then he could imagine, it seemed that he could not do anymore damage then was done so he thought it safe to finally talk.
“Guys, I’m sorry. I was totally wrong in trying to pull you guys into this. I didn’t mean for the things I say to be taken that way. Obviously this idea is lost, but can we still at least be friends? It seemed every time I open my mouth for more then I sentence I regret it so I won’t make a speech or anything to convince you.”

Silvain snorted derisively, glad that at least one of them had sense. He had no idea, nor did he really care about, what Malachy was talking about with "Shadow" and the Slytherins and "showing them good," but he did find great satisfaction in Felix's apology, though only for his own "I'm finally better than you at something" ego.
"Sure," he lied to Felix. He doubted he could ever really be friends with the guy. Felix was just too loud, too show-offy, and too much better than him at stuff for Silvain to ever feel comfortable around the kid. Not that he really cared. Silvain didn't really consider himself the 'friends-y' type, at least not with his own classmates. He had a few upperclass friends that he liked and respected, but he really didn't like many of the people his own age. Toby he did, but probably only because so far, the kid had not bested or outdone him in anything yet. Malachy he respected and appreciated the help of in his Patronus, even if it hadn't really worked out as planned, but Felix...he just really, really didn't like the kid. Far too busy being jealous.
"You don't have to come with me, Toby," he told the Hufflepuff. "But thanks for seeing things my way."

Well now it seemed Malachy was the defeated on, though he had handled the situation better. At Felix's apology Malachy noticed something. It was a look of proud triumph, and it was on Silvain's face as he looked back at the defeated Felix. It seemed Malachy had discover the answer to some questions he had not yet asked himself. 'Why had Silvain been so willing to follow the advice of a Slytherin in learning the Patronus? What exactly was the great think Silvain had been looking forward to when he had almost succeeded?' Silvain had worn that same look when he conjured the happy thought, and now it finally clicked.
Silvain was Muggle-born, and because he was borne into a magic free family he may not have learned magic that young witches and wizards might learn and practice out of habit. Malachy had know a similar feeling. It was only hours after the sorting had shouted 'SLYTHERIN!' after being placed on Malachy's head. The memory of feeling out of place and in someways inferior to all the power-hungry, blood-loving Slytherins. Silvain was in a very similar situation now that Malachy actually thought about it. Malachy had placed Silvain with the wrong kind of people.
He pulled him self a way from the thoughts and turned to Felix with a solemn look. "Well I'm sorry it didn't work out like you wanted, but remember there is still the bigger group, As I said Ashlee and Morgan are already on our side." He said calmly after Silvain and Toby where beyond the magical sound barrier. Now Malachy left through the crack; he needed to talk with Silvain again, and this time he would get his point across in the way Silvain needed it to be before it was too late.

Felix knew that Silvain's words were not really true. A lie for a lie and this conflict would never be solved. Felix would have to make Silvain not so anger towards him, so way to make it better. For now Felix only wanted this done.
Malachy obviously had something on his mind. Felix watched as he had some revelation go off inside the hidden head of his. Malachy seemed confident about something and eager for action. After apologizing quickly for the group not working, Malachy headed for the crack as if on a mission. Felix had wanted to ask him a couple of things, but he had never had the chance after the conflict started. Quickly rushing out of the crack, Felix dashed off after the Slytherin.
"Malachy! Wait up for a second! I have a quick question!"
((Dude, you totally God-moded Toby and Silvain.... anyway, have a really quick question IC.))
