The sickness, the malaise, the evil feeling moved. Then it moved again. If this girl, the one in orange, was paying the slightest attention, she would notice it was spinning around her while another malevolent presence was moving in all around her, coming from everywhere. It pressed in on her mind, paying no attention to the Monolayre or the slytherin boy.
You are unfamiliar. I should know you...
Like a scalpel going straigh from a warm heart to a dish of butter, something began to cut into the new witch's mind. Tearing through layers of defenses, cutting through her walls and guards and into her.
I can feel you... reaching out... You are trying so hard, I appreciate this. Maybe I should let you explore your own abilities and surpass common power, something you seem able to do already... but you could polish it... enhance it...
Then, pain. Running up and down her spine, like a cruciatus curse from all over. A river of agony flowing through evey vertebra.
But no! You are to leave! Be gone from these walls! They belong to me! Come to the Crypt of Slytherin when the sun is farthest away from the dead. Come when it is all dark. Come alone.
"Why yes, I do feel something strange about her," the Justiciar replied, not once dropping his gaze from the newcomer. From the moment she had entered, Unseen was unbelievably curious; this curiosity peaked when he realized that the woman was a telepath - not surprisingly, she was communicating with Teagan. It was obvious from the start that she could sense his unsavory presence, but he wasn't about to go blowing his cover right away; the Muryllis illusion was very important to him from a practical standpoint, so he decided not to invade her telepathy. At least, when dealing with anything related to the school.
Something very interesting happened at that moment, something that he wasn't quite expecting: his master appeared, though not physically; his prominent form was clear in Unseen's arcane vision, and yet it was very likely that their visitor couldn't make out any difference between their energies. In fact, it was very likely that she would assume it was Muryllis, as well as the Shade hiding within his illusionary shell, who had just invaded her mind. Unseen didn't really like the idea of being popular right off the bat, so he decided to give credit where it was due.
'My master seems to have had dealings with you in the past, I see.' An invisible tendril of Unseen's consciousness gently wrapped around Dovie, his thoughts pouring lightly over her; the venomous drip of a Shade's highly undesirable attention. 'He is very curious about you, almost as curious as I. It is not in your best interests to remain here, fleshling; common sense would not wish for you to cross paths with me again. Either way, though...'
The alumnus turned his head slightly to look over at Toshiya again. "Not to worry; if she's dangerous, it's my job to keep her out of here," he whispered. It was though nothing had just happened between himself, Unknown, and Dovie; indeed, in the physical world, nothing had been visible to anyone else.
'Just as it would not be wise to approach me with mal intent, it is also dangerous not to obey the Master. If you find me frightful, then he will throw you into the depths of insanity. Find a good excuse to leave, now.'

Teagan certainly recognized Dovie. Either Toshiya or Muryllis was "oozing this horrifyingly sick energy." She wanted to go at least halfway across the library to investigate. Also, she verbally asked to be introduced to Teagan's "friends," who apparently busied themselves staring at the two girls. Madame of the Orange Jumper was probably very concerned instead, feeling threatened by the sick energy; being a gryffindor, she apparently wanted to solve this issue right away, confronting it quickly and in a public area.
Certainly, thought the head girl back after a moment.
A desire to be antisocial drenched her, yet she would lead one old and lost ally over to two too talkative boys, one of which "oozed" "horrifyingly sick energy"--Teagan felt confident that any ravenclaw common sense she gathered over the years ran out on her.
Also, Dovie acted like a boy-wanting new student quickly making an acquaintance with a girl who knew some boys just in order to get close to them, get a date or two, and ditch the girl who knew some boys.
This was an odd situation, but perhaps she would steal Toshiya away.
"Sure," Teagan answered coolly. She did not consider those boys her friends, but there was no reason she would not help a student for something like this--Dovie, for now, would count as a student.
Her lips formed a polite smile, a gentle smile she usually used when greeting new students (when she did not want to intimidate them, anyway).
The Monolayre stepped away. She walked slowly in the boys' direction, careful to pay attention to the disguised alumnus walking with her. She wondered why the older Magic Horizons student was here now... Dovie had mentioned living in Drakborough. Curious.
Teagan ventured as cautiously as she ever did, remotely too aware of all the people involved in this little unscheduled get-together. One of the four supposedly oozed negative energy, one that was supposedly either Muryllis or Toshiya.
Her friendless eyes remained mostly violet.
The slytherin was a slytherin (naughty), romantically liked her (something was automatically wrong there), and insisted on becoming a friend of hers.
Muryllis notoriously had a little too much fun with dark magic in the past, was no longer even a student, and was a ravenclaw (experimental magic fun). He seemed more likely to toy around with magic out of his control and be possessed something seeping out energy Dovie found revolting.
Her bet was on the alumnus if Dovie was telling the truth, but Teagan's ideas remained secret.
The two girls walked across the library. The Monolayre coldly stopped two meters from the boys; her eyes looked at them slightly less than happily. Her eyes narrowed slightly at Toshiya before rotating less cruelly to Muryllis. Here she was, once again near those yappy chatting hooligans. Somehow, she just kept being pulled back to them...
"This is Muryllis, an alumnus," Teagan said gently, gesturing at the graduated boy. She gestured to the wanna-be lover. "This is Toshiya of Slytherin." Then, she meekly turned her apathetic toward her female companion, crossing her arms uncomfortably. "Is that all you wanted, Madolyn?"
"Well at least I don't feel weird about it," he sighed as he looked around the library. The room seemed to have fallen quite silent since the alumni spoke. And he really had no idea what the heck was going on around him. Some Slytherin he was. Didn't even use that natural paranoia that seemed to be common in his house mates.
But all the same, he was worried about Teagan for some unknown reason. He didn't know why, but his instinct told him that there might be something going down in that library. And all the same, he couldn't help but think something bad happened everything he sent a note to the red head. I think it's a sign, he told himself as he laughed inwardly.
"Alright," Toshiya agreed before he looked toward the ever so enticing exit. Sure he was brave and all, but he just wanted to go back to the common room and sleep.
And that's what he aimed to do. Covering his mouth to cover a fake yawn, he nodded at Muryllis. "I am sorry to cut this short. However, I haven't had much sleep as of yet, and I need to get studying for my N.E.W.T. exams for next year," he smiled lightly. "It's been a pleasure meeting you Muryllis."
And with that said, the boy turned to make his leave. As he passed by Teagan he laughed lightly. "I guess this is a sign saying that I shouldn't send notes to get you to meet me huh?" he teased lightly before walking out.
"Goodbye, then," the alumnus replied, watching Toshiya leave as the older witch turned to him. Her little demand caught the poor guy off guard; he was actually quite shocked.
"I'm not exactly sure who you are, nor do I have much of a desire to find out. You must indeed have some irrational boldness on top of that cute sense of empathy if you think you can confront others with such contempt in, precisely, a place of learning." His voice was just as low as hers, and just as authoritative. Now, however, he had his wand out - that same metallic rod of Syrus's potent Nephilim-blood substance.
"Now, if you don't plan to act civilized, I will use my authority as Firefox Justiciar to kindly ask you to leave the grounds." Using force if necessary was implied; the man wasn't one to be messed with, generally.
On a different level, Unseen was very entertained. Should have left when you had the chance, dearie. Now, I'll just go ahead and make you look like the idiot you are; after all, its your standing among other fleshlings that counts. This said, the Shade dropped into a more expansive, ambient form he had come to embrace as being more suitable for general existence. This invisible mass of consciousness phased quickly through the floor, with other, much more important plans on its mind.
