It has been awhile since little Selena had been to the library but it had almost been forever since the psychic Ravenclaw had drawn anything at all. She had simply stopped and the nightmares had continued even after though a few of them were worse than before.
So the Ravenclaw sat at a table, drawing to either her own content or to her own relief. Because Charlie the vampire had stolen her original sketchbook, it had given her the excuse to buy a new one though now Selly doesn't have any money to buy any comfortable clothing.
The ones the near teenager was wearing had faded from deep black to a gloomy gray and the jeans were short enough to call them capris'. The long sleeves of her shirt could only reach her elbows and her boots were at least three sizes too small. To find money to replace this current outfit should be her top priority for the moment.
Selena had been curious on why one of the bookshelves were almost black as ashes but kept quiet. The Librarian looked as angry as a mongoose. The Ravenclaw didn't want to be the one to piss him off.
"Uh oh...."muttered Selena as she realizes that the last page of the somewhat new sketchbook was already used. The Ravenclaw had already drawn on the backs of the original drawings and it was usless to draw anything on top of another not to mention messy. She needed another sketchbook but it could wait.
The psychic takes out a book from the Fiction section and returns to her seat to read it. Maybe a book can keep her away from her always troubled mind.

It seemed Morgan was spending more and more time in the library lately. As had become her custom, the blonde girl wended her way through labyrinthine bookcases. Actually, though, today she was here for her own reasons, rather than to fulfill an assignment for anyone's class. She already had a few books in her arms, and looked for a likely place to sit and browse through them.
The Library was pretty full for it being the end of the year. It was more like a Ravenclaw convention center than a library. Luckily, most Ravenclaws tended to be the studious type, quiet and absorbed in whatever project they were doing at the moment. Morgan did shush a group of giggling firsties, though. Although, she did it kindly; they were only excited about the dance.
So was she.
All the books she had gotten were full of household spells, especially sewing. Morgan was going to make her own dress for this dance. Not because she had to, heaven knew her parents would barely even notice if she spent money on a dress for the dance. And, if Dovie had still been running her shop, that's exactly what Morgan would have done.
As it was, Morgan was already familiar with sewing, both by magic and by hand. The books were mostly there to give her a few ideas for patterns, and help her sort out the finer points of what she was trying to do. There were even a couple of wizarding fashion magazines mixed in with the books. The models in the pictures waved and smiled, turning so one could see the backs of the clothes.
There was an opening at the table with Selena. Morgan headed for it, and as she approached, she noticed that Selena's clothes looked faded and worn and a little too short for her frame. Selena looked like she was about the size Morgan was when she'd come to Firefox. Morgan sat down across from her.
"Hi, Selly," Morgan said. Then, she got an idea. "You know what, Selly? Could you do me a favor? I have a bunch of clothes from when I first got to Firefox sitting in my trunk, taking up space. I can't wear them anymore, do you think you could take them off my hands for me? I'd really appreciate it."
Selena herself didn't care much about the dance. To her, it was just another stupid dance where people dance while witches and wizards alike attempt to impress their date. It was all pish posh to her and completely silly.
The not so little Ravenclaw looked up at Momo who she had grown attached to like a sister that Fate forgot to give her. She still didn't understand why Morgan, TJ and others treated her like an innocent child when her gift wasn't that innocent. Selena felt like she was the monster among the witches and wizards and didn't deserve their friendship. Would they treat her any different if they knew?
"Really Momo?"asked Selly shyly, not looking up from her book. It didn't change the fact that the little Ravenclaw was still painfully shy even after a two years. She wouldn't even ask questions to the professors because of it. Blame the fact that the girl had been a bully victim back home.
At least her clothing problem was solved and that Selena won't have to wear her worn outfit from first year.

"Sure. If you want, once we're finished here, we can go up to the dorms and you can have a look at them." Morgan flipped through a few pages of her own books. There were some excellent ideas in here. She took out a drawing pencil and some parchment. But, once again, her skill failed in the artistic area. "Ooooh...." she lamented. Her ideas refused to come out the right way. Her parchment was a smudged up mess.
She looked over at Selena, who was happily sketching away. "Say, Selly, could you do me another favor? I'm trying to draw a picture of a dress I'm making, but I can't really draw. Could you..." She flipped fast, turning pages with practiced fingers. "Draw the skirt of that dress with the bodice and sleeves of this one, and maybe add in the embroidery of this one, just along the hem and neckline?" She produced pictures of the three dress she liked the most, taking special care to highlight exactly the qualities of each she liked best. "I mean, you don't have to, but I would consider it a huge favor."
Selena looked up at Momo again and nodded at the idea of getting new clothes. One problem solved already and now onto another of getting a new sketchbook. It would be hard for her to resist drawing on the walls or on any flat surface in particular.
The younger Ravenclaw returned to her book when she heard her sister lament at the fustration of sketching a dress and glanced up once more. "Alright Momo."replied Selly as she went to work on the dress design.
It had taken about a half hour before the young girl was actually done with the drawing. She had carefully drawn the design with all the qualities of what Momo wanted with Selly's personal touch on the embroidery design. It would have appeared like the dress had taken on an alchemical transformation that would place the other dresses in the fashion magazines to shame. "It's done."

"Wow," Morgan breathed the word as though she feared the drawing would crumble if she spoke too loudly. "That's amazing, Selly, really amazing." She took the picture, looking it over in her mind. It was gorgeous. She wondered if she would be able to sew it. This thought, of course, sent her back to her books, looking up ways to make her needlework as delicate as rose petals.
She made a few working notations down the side of the page, being sure to keep clear of the drawing. It would take some work, but Morgan was confident in her abilities. "Thank you so, so much. That's two favors today you've really helped me with. Is there anything I can do in return for you?"
Selena watched Morgan become amazed at her drawing and blinked when the younger Ravenclaw herself became confused. Was her sketch that good? Drawing stuff excluding the times when she drew people off guard (That was fun.) was just plain natural to her as breathing but apparently no one knew that did they?
Wait, so now Momo wanted to do something for her since Selly had helped her twice. The prefect had already helped her with her clothing situation but the young psychic didn't know how long she can restrain herself from drawing on the walls before finding the money to purchase a new drawing book.
"....Could you buy me a new sketchbook please?....This one's already full..."asked Selena shyly though she was telling the truth about the fact that the book was full. It really was full front and back of each page.

"Oh, sure. Actually, wait a minute." Morgan reached into her bag and produced a mostly blank hard bound sketchbook. "I was trying to draw some of the plants in the greenhouses, but, well...my talent isn't drawing. The first couple of pages are smudged up, but the rest of it should be usable." She handed the book over, then went back to her note-making.
"Thank you for the sketchbook Momo." Her mother had taught the Ravenclaw and her younger twin manners well as it showed that the lessons weren't learned in vain.
Selena had only glanced at the few pages the Prefect drew in (They weren't bad but not exactly good either.) before flipping it to a blank page and starting to draw once more. The book she had been reading was ignored.

((ooc: don't tell me what to do!XD))
There. Her work notes were finally complete. She filled the parchment away in her bag for later. The magazines went in too, because they were hers. The books were neatly stacked and sorted into two piles: those that could go back, and those Morgan needed to check out. A wave of her wand sent the first stack away. However, it seemed Selena was still absorbed in her drawing.
Hmm. Morgan needed something to keep her occupied. So, naturally, her curiosity took over. She reached for Selena's full sketchbook. "You mind if I look through this until you're ready to go?" she asked as tshe pulled the book over to her side of the table.
Selena absently mindly nodded as she kept drawing and temporarily forgetting that the illusion charm that was usually placed on the sketchbook was off. The Ravenclaw didn't know if her own nightmaric visions could terrify a prefect but Selly was going to be in for it wasn't she?

There was something wrong here. Like, really wrong. Was Selena hiding a violent nature? She was the quiet kind of person who kept to herself mostly. Was she some kind of sociopath? Morgan was a little scared to ask. Still, she had to. Besides, if Selena was channeling some kind of depravity or a violent nature onto paper, shouldn't she have gone ballistic when Morgan picked the sketchbook up? Morgan took care to look at each page, despite the revolting scenes on them. She needed to have a knowledge of what Selly was drawing.
So, in morbid fascination she turned the pages. Blood and death leered from the book, but Morgan persevered. Why would Selena draw such scenes of terror? And, were they connected to the strange nightmares Morgan had witnesses. Nightmares Morgan had been incapable of waking her from. Even when she'd cut herself falling out of bed, Selena had not woken. This was very puzzling indeed.
Perhaps she was driven to draw out her nightmares? Perhaps it was her way of making sure she didn't act out the dark scenes that troubled her. Morgan came to the back of the book. She set it back down on the table, and slowly closed it. Then, she looked at Selena. Such a young, innocent girl. How could she even be capable of drawing such things? Morgan cleared her throat.
"Selena. Can we...talk? About your drawings. It's just, if something is troubling you, you know you can tell me, right? I'm on your side, and I'm happy to hear whatever you have to say." She flipped through the book, to one of the more grisly pieces. She turned the book so Selena could see it. "Because this is a problem, Selly."
Selena had never developed a violent nature after each nightmare simply because it wasn't her. The dark drawings of death existed because if kept inside her head for too long, there is a chance that she could go insane but that was only a theory. Even though they were her nightmares, it wasn't her own silver eyes that they were seen from. They had always belonged to someone else and it was rare that it was through her own.
Selly looked up at Morgan when she asked if they could talk about her drawing problem. The younger Ravenclaw was happy to hear that Momo was on her side but when the prefect opened the sketchbook to one of her worst drawings, she paled. Who said that her own drawings didn't scare and disgust the young girl? And what happened to the few normal drawings she drew?
"U-uhm...T-the n-night...."Selena was truly terrified and currently speechless at this point. Momo can understand right?

Of course, Morgan had seen the few ordinary drawings in the book, which were the creepiest of all. Like oases of calm inside the violent storm of pages. The peacefulness of those scant few pages contrasted sharply with the rest of the pictures, and it read like the results of a broken, fractured mind. Which is why Morgan had tried to be so gentle in her suggestion that perhaps Selena could use some help. The way she compulsively scribbled in the book was a little disconcerting.
"The...night? You mean, you see these things at night? Well, that's easy enough to fix. I know a potion for dreamless sleep. I'm sure if we explain to the nurse that you have bad nightmares, she can fix some up for you. Or, I suppose I could make some, if you didn't want to involve anyone else." Morgan closed the book, hadning it back to her friend. "Please, Selly, let me help you."
Selena shook her head furiously as she doubted that potions will work and wanted to leave the library so badly but was too terrified to move. The young girl had never thought of her abilties getting discovered so it was a shock.
"Y-yes...b-but they're n-not ordinary n-nightmares....I-it's not th-through my e-eyes I-I see th-them...Th-They...."c-come t-true Momo...answered Selly quietly and telepathically the last bit to her as it wasn't something she can just say aloud, "I-I do-don't know i-if y-you can h-help m-me..."
No one had tried to help this Ravenclaw before mainly because they were either too afraid of her gift or found her worthy of an asylum. A vampire had found it worthy to kill over but he had failed to complete the task. Selena had kept it to herself because she was too afraid that anyone would get hurt if they knew. It was mainly why she kept to herself altogether. The Ravenclaw thought herself too dangerous because of it.
