He smiled and shook his head. That wasn't quite the answer he was looking for, even if it was flattering. What he wanted to know was whether it felt... right. "Thank you I'll take what you said as a compliment. Let me rephrase to the question." He looked around, good they where still alone for the most part.
He needed, no he wanted to remind her and maybe get her mind one to the same train of thought as his so she could answer him more accurately. He got closer, and began making himslef eye level with her and looked into her icy blue orbs. Quiet simply i wanted to know if... Before he asked the question before he gave her a chance to even think of another option he closed the distance and presses a gentle kiss to her lips. It was short lived and he soon moved away, "I wanted to know if you like me." He explained. he held his breath wondering what would happen next. Had he went too far too fast. He was sure she had someone else, thats why he had kissed her before asking the question. He wanted to kiss her again but he wasn't going to get that if thoughts of loyalty got in the way. He hoped she didn't turn him down too.

Ashelle had almost forgotten to close her eyes the kiss was so unexpected . . . but something within her knew she didn't want it to be the last. Still what could she say? Nav would be distraught if she just . . . Mal was so handsome, it felt so nice when he kissed her . . .
"I like you," she heard her voice say as if someone else were using her mouth to talk. "You make me forget who I am, make me forget all my responsibilities to my family names. I like that . . . a lot." Now it was her turn to step towards him. "Sometimes -despite what anyone says- I feel like everyone thinks I am a coward, that I am no one special. Tell me . . . am I special to you, Malachy?"
She could see him breathing, his scent filled the air around him. It smelled good. She sighed, feeling oddly like she didn't care what happened next, but anticipating it nonetheless.
He was sort of feeling guilty right now he knew he was corrupting her, but he wasn't about to let this little moment of happiness end. "Your no coward Ashelle. You have more courage than Felix, and more brains as well. Plus You look infinitely more attractive." He said with a sly smile. "And you on't need family to be special its not you family I'm attracted to." He explained. She had gotten closer did she want him too kiss her again? It didn't matter no one was watching. He Pressed his lips to hers again. This time holding himself there and letting himself savor the moment.

"mmmmm," she breathed softly as she returned his kiss. It did feel good, she hadn't let herself know it before but they seemed to fit together. She let her hands travel up his shirt front, then gently put her arms around him. This - this was what she'd been missing. It felt nice, very nice in fact. It was like all her worries and cares were falling away from her like a shed garment.
I don't want this to end, thought Ashelle, allowing the kiss to deepen. I don't ever want to leave his arms. Mal- "Hmmmmmm"
She was kissing back that was indeed a sign that he was still in the game. After being basically kicked to the curb three different times by three different women all in one week sort of made one doubt their ability to, for lack of a better word, seduce anyone. He placed his arms round her holding her to his body and continued the kiss, breathing through his nose so he didn't have to stop for air.
Like with her the world seemed to vanish he completely forgot where he was, all that really mattered was that she was here. Thankfully, however, there was a third mind that wasn't absorbed in the passion of finding someone that wanted to be with you. Sning could care less really but he did keep a look out so that the two didn't get caught. Felix had caught him off guard last time and Malachy had payed for it. He was being extra careful this time. Sning didn't like flaws in his perfect track record of keeping his masters alive, and for the most part happy.
Suddenly Sning heard foot steps and he quickly constricted around Malachy's finger. signaling him to cut it off. Mal felt teh squeeze and reality suddenly found its way back to him. He stopped and pulled away. He laughed a bit. "Wow... your not to bad yourself you know." Just then a random student came from around one of the book shelves before going to the other sid of the long row and continuing their search for the book they needed.

When Malachy pulled away, at first Ashelle felt sad, however once she was out of Lala Land she too heard the footsteps. Her cheeks immediately turned pink, and she quickly smoothed her uniform which thankfully was still as impeccable as usual. When the student turned the corner, didn't notice them, and continued searching for a book, Ashelle breathed a sigh of relief.
Then she turned back to Malachy - and just stared. She'd been about to say 'that was amazing' and 'thank you' and something about 'don't be a stranger' but something inside her wanted to grab him and snog the brains out of him. Shut up, you don't know how to snog and besides this is a library not a bedroom AND what would Aunt Ashlee and Grand Miranda say? said a familiar voice inside her. Okok, I get the point. "Mal . . ." she began but again fell wordless. What was she trying to tell him? She smoothed her curls in frustration.
Mal could tell she had liked it and so had he. He wanted to go ahead and do it again but after nearly getting caught he started to realize that this was not the best place to be openly shoing such emotion. He knew a better place in the Library. The only problem was that Felix was aware of the SOS (Siberian Orange Slug) room as well. The room had once been used as a meeting place between himself Felix and a few other students, when he and Felix had been friends. Man that seemed like forever ago.
Anyway he was about to to use the SOS room unless he could be sure Felix wouldn't walk in on them. Heh with his luck Felix would be gone just long enough for him to lower his guard and then walk in on them doing just a bit more than snogging. Then Felix would have to die and Ashelle wouldn't like that all that much. That last thought was amusing and he smiled at it with out really noticing.
Ash seemed to be struggling to say something so he took the initiative to help her out and calm her down a little but. He was after all the one that got her into this little state of confusion. "Hey, how about we meet up in Drakborough sometime, I know this tavern that was... recently renovated. They could prolly use some visitors, and I think it would be nice if we just went out on a date some time. What do you think." He was talking about the Tavern that had only a day or two before been basically torn apart by a werewolf. He had been one of the ones there backing up Fenrir. He could probably get food or what ever there discounted since he had at least been there. Plus the place could probably use some Customers, now that half the town probably avoided it now because of what happened.

Suddenly everything came into such clear focus it felt almost like someone had slashed Ashelle's heart. She was falling for Malachy, yet was involved with Navara! She would soon be one of those girls unless she came clean as soon as possible.
"We can't date," she said decisively, "Until I can tell my . . . I mean Navara, that I have found someone new. Please don't be angry, I will do my best to do so but I haven't ever been in this position before, you see. Please can you give me a week to find a way to tell him? I can't be seen as one of those girls, I just can't."
Ashelle thought she wanted to cry but for some reason her body didn't feel like it should. Maybe it was still excited from the feelings of kissing Malachy? She sighed heavily instead and looked at him, pleading with her eyes. Don't leave me because I can't imagine how I am going to break this to Navara, please it would kill me . . .
Her hopeful pleading eyes where more than enough to get him to do something for her when he looked at that puppy dog/cute kitten expression. He couldn't help himself. He wasn't about to get mad. Why would he he had just won her over. And who ever Nav was, had just lost to him. The later was less important he didn't think of it as a competition. He didn't see girls as prizes to be won. He wasn't that kind of guy.
"Ashelle, I think I know what kind of girls your talking about. And just by what you said just no you already proved your better than them. I don't think i's like you as much if you where the dishonorable type. Go ahead, break it to him. It would be better than having him walk in on us like Morgan did." He explained.

Ashelle smiled, Mal was so clear about everything, and despite his looks he seemed down to earth too. She couldn't help herself, she stepped tward him and hugged him tightly to her.
"Thank you Malachy, I really apreciate it." she whispred in his ear then kissed him softly on the lips. "I'll find a way, come invading Hords or High water," she promised. Then she let him go and turned to go figure out how the hell she'd gotten into this situation.
