So many questions, so much chatter. Sylph had to smile at the Italian's response to her little pieces of information - he seemed deeply thrilled and excited by each and everything she had said. Admittedly, they were some fairly interesting creatures, but these days Sylph saw them partly as the bread and butter of her profession - either of them - and only when she stepped back did they still fill her with wonder. She partly liked the experienced side of herself, but still, the awe she used to feel all the time was rather missed at times. Not that it was utterly gone, of course. Sylph still got dazzled sometimes, it was just... knowing dazzlement.
As for Novus Sapinti's many questions, well, she'd just have to deal with them one at a time, though she did giggle a little at the description of his animagus friend. Studying the highshells that way... silly person.
"Yes, we have acromantula," she nodded. "I don't know when they were introduced - it was probably some massive mistake by a foolish wizard back in the day, but they're thriving in Fenrir's woods. And yes, the name is not misleading." Her face darkened considerably for a brief moment, full of bleak memories of hatred and grief and regret, but with a rough mental shake she roused herself, and was smiling lightly once more. "I would advise you not to venture too far past the tree line, however; wild lycans dwell there, as you can imagine, as well as far worse things. The trees in there are mainly cork oak and pines with the odd juniper mixed in there, but don't linger beneath their branches, things are strange in that forest."
She paused a moment before dealing with the next issue. He didn't seem to mind the thought of dealing with creatures of the nature illegittimo, which endeared him rather to the violet haired witch, being of a similar opinion herself, obviously, but might also spell trouble for the school. The Ministry were interfering buggers, the BFC more so. Should she tell him?
"We're trying to keep the illegal aspect of animals to a minimum at the moment," she said frankly. "As you may have heard, the government in Spain is a new and, err, enthusiastic one. Firefox would do well to steer under their radar, if you understand me. However, if you wish to practice defence against dark creatures, you could try lethifolds. They're not native, I know, and they're very dangerous, but better than dementors. Just."
