"Talon!" Adhara exclaimed in a shocked tone. He had never spoken to her like this, he was her friend. Okay, she had just assaulted someone in his office. That was fair. But...oh. He didn't know. Ashelle wasn't here. He hadn't gotten her message. Where had her patronus gone? The spell must not have worked properly; she had been under a great deal of panic and stress, that must have been what caused it to malfunction.
"You don't understand," She locked eyes with the Headmaster, "This...Orifiel...stole my blood and is trying to abduct this girl. She just saw her sister's disembodied head. The girl had been killed by a lycan and it left the head on the stairs in the Arch. She found it, fainted, and I brought her to the hospital wing. She must have hit her head pretty hard because she was hallucinating when she woke up."
"When he," Adhara gestured to the crazed wizard crouched next to Talon, "Showed up she had just started mumbling about horcruxes. Orifiel wanted to cut into her and I refused, but while I was facing him, she attacked me from behind and petrified me. He had her levitate me into a supply closet and then they went to the library."
Taking a breath, Addie continued, "But before they left, he opened the door and jabbed a needle into my arm."
She pushed back the hem of her navy blue silk robe and held out her arm to show Talon. The color of the fabric made the bruising stand out and there was a clear smear of blood on her smooth skin just above the crease of her elbow. Slowly she dropped her arm back down and the silk rustled as it slid back into place.
"He pocketed it and then left me there. A few minutes later the nurse found me in the supply closet. I sent her up here, along with a Patronus," Addie's brow furrowed, "Have you seen Ashelle? Perhaps she got lost..."
Shaking her head, the brunette went on, "Since they mentioned the library I went down there. There...there was a body near the front. Bleeding copiously. He had obviously been attacked from behind with a spell though. All the cuts were on his front, but he was laying face down. He must have been trying to get away from someone and to the doors."
Here she glaced over her shoulder at Mayu, "Sir, I think that the girl killed the student and made a horcrux."
Addie only called Talon...well, she'd never called him "Sir".
After trying to regain her composure after the horrible series of events and obvious implications she had just described, Adhara breathed deeply and said imploringly, "Mayu's been through a horrible shock and isn't in her right mind. She obviously needs to be hospitalised. I don't know who this man is, but he isn't helping her. She needs care and treatment."
Adhara didn't understand quite what was going on or why Sparky, Mayu, and Orifiel had reacted the way that they had. She had only tried to stop the crazy man from harming Talon. Obviously they knew each other--she had no idea how--so probably she had overreacted but their reactions to her overreaction were just as extreme. Perhaps they all just needed to calm down and think about this logically and rationally. It must all be a big misunderstanding. If she finished her side of the story, it would probably help a great deal in clearing the air and relaxing everyone.
"After a brief...encounter," here, she blushed and tried desperately not to think of the handsome man who had accosted her and laid her soul bare amongst the stacks, but it was impossible. She allowed herself just for a moment to linger on the details of how his lips felt against hers, and the hardness of his body, and his smell...and his taste...Adhara blinked and continued, "I came up here and found this Orifiel attacking you. Or at least that's what it looked like to me and after the recent events you can hardly blame me for being on edge. But I apologise for acting so hastily."
"But, I have no idea why the girl or anyone else thinks that I'm a danger," she said, glaring daggers at the point of Orifiel's hat before turning around and allowing her disapproval to fall onto the Head Boy and the girl he protected behind him. She gestured the two to come forward, "Mr. Cobalt, please bring her in here. No one is going to be hurt and she really needs to be seen by the Headmaster."
