Yamaroshi had not kept up with current events. He kept a low profile for the last few months. He still kept up with his elementalism but his practice was far away from the castle. His 'home' had moved too -- his new hole was closer to his practice area. In fact, he had not had any human contact in the entire time. When the Angelus Morti fell, he hardly cared. He never felt he had any real part in that anyhow.
What brought him to Talon's office was...well, clarification. Even after the shadow war it seemed as though the shadows were still active, and yet he had not seen them or heard anything for a long time. The real question was: who were his enemies? He had to have enemies. That was what this part of Spain was all about after all. At least that's how it seemed.
Besides, if he didn't have enemies, what was the point in practicing his elementalism the way he had been so obsessively for so many years? Yes, elementalism. That was another reason he was here. Much of his practice in elementalism was not in earth, but in fire, and it seemed he had made very little progress. Perhaps Talon would be able to help him in that way.
His footsteps were quiet. They did not overcome the voices of those present in Talon's office. Yamaroshi considered turning around, but decided he didn't want to have to come back later.
He entered the office inconspicuously. The three would only notice him if they were looking at him. His appearance was essentially the same as it usually was--he was scruffy, his hands and face, the only skin that was exposed was coated in a layer of dirt, as was his long, brown robe. A cluster of hair, held together by dried mud pointed to the left and slightly upward.
Looking around, he recognized Talon and Roan, but not the other woman. He assumed he didn't know her. Not bothering to speak, the boy simply stood there, waiting to be acknowledged.
