Ah, the tragedy of school. The drama, the love, the chaos and mischief. This was all fun to everyone else, but Felix was special. Drama causes his overly emotionally ruled friends to near kill themselves, the love always causes enemies to be made and Felix stuck in the middle, the chaos almost got him killed many times, and well, let’s just say mischief was something that followed Felix around like a duckling follows it’s mother.
That morning, Felix had no clue what was going on down at the pavilion. He normally would have been alerted of it by his odd inventions and many contraptions (call him paranoid), but the first time Shadow and Morgan talked, she had disabled them and never reactivated them. He had instead spent the morning writing a paper on Greek wizards magical instruments used in the first century B.C, sitting on the roof of the castle, sipping hot chocolate.
It was a shame really; Felix could have completely ruined everything even more for Morgan. Instead (after sending his paper by an owl to a archeological magazine in Greece) Felix was wondering the halls for no reason. It was Christmas time after all. He looked pretty festive in a red and green sweater and jeans, with a Gryffindor scarf.
After about an hour into his wondering, Felix came near the Arch. Now, at first he didn’t know what was going on, but he felt something was off, well, in truth he felt Malachy’s presence, and if Malachy was around, something was off. Rolling his eyes, Felix kept his distance from the Arch as so that Malachy’s pet menace of a snake won’t be able to sense him in return.
Felix jumped out a corridor window and approached the Arch from a blind side. When he finally came into view he saw something that instinctively made him want to stun everything he saw: There was Malachy, kissing a girl named Mikey. Now, Felix normally didn’t interfere with people’s loves and crushes, but he felt obligated to warn her. Felix and Malachy had enough history to fill a book, and every chapter of it would be on how evil and bad Malachy was and how the Slytherin managed to ruin everything.
From his distance, perfectly calm, Felix almost only mouthed the Impediment Jinx. The silence spell separated the Slytherin and the Gryffindor by three feet and an inch. Walking up quickly, he basically ignored Malachy’s existence and addressed Mikey, who he hadn’t formally meet yet. He did it all in a very professional gentlemanly manner.
“Mikey, don’t know if we have ever formally meet, but I am Felix Genero and I felt obligated to warn you that that heartless bastard you just kissed is either stupid or pure evil seeing how he has managed to ruin everyone’s lives. Uhh… dunno if you know Morgan Pendragon, the Ravenclaw Prefect, well he completely made her believe that he loved her, and then randomly decided to kiss Morgan’s best friend for no reason. Oh, he also drove Morgan to try to commit suicide and to have an emotional break down. Poor girl, wasn’t her fault she was blinded by false love. And when I tried to warn her that he would do that, Malachy swore that he would kill me if he had the chance, but that was before I became a Prefect and told Morgan about his threat. Just felt it was my responsibility to warn you. I’m sure you are really confused though, because he comes across as a nice guy. Again, so sorry to ruin this perfect moment Mikey, I just can’t bear to see another person fall for his tricks and end up heartbroken.”
This entire statement was said with out a pause. It was calm, matter of fact, and completely normal sounding. Felix did not once acknowledge the presence of Malachy. Looking up, Felix pointed his wand at the mistletoe and burnt it to a black crisp before continuing his walk, walking right between the pair, not waiting for an answer or anything. His wand was already solid in his hand, and many shield spells were at the tip of his tongue… just in case. If Malachy did decided to retaliate, it would just be more proof to Mikey that Malachy was all that Felix just said.
