So this is the big thing we keep bringing up, getting points for doing stuff and using those points to get other stuff. The main things here will be to determine how to get points, what to spend them on and how much it should cost.
How to get points: This one is fairly simple. You post! We can add in other ways to get points, like helping with advertising or other idle minigame-type stuff, but the posting is the core of it. We can set it so that only certain boards count posts and also that they only count posts with a certain minimum length. I would only have in character posts counting, likely at around 100-150 word minimum, which isn't a huge amount to ask for, yet also stops people from hyper spamming one-liners (for reference, this entire paragraph, starting at the underlined title and ending here is over 100 words by itself).
The next part is to determine what costs points and how much it costs. So far I have several categories that I think covers everything that we have talked about thus far.
Creatures:
-Human: 0RP
-Werewolf: xRP
-Vampire: xRP
Powers:
-Individual Magic school:
Level 1: xRP
Level 2: xRP
Level 3: xRP
Level 4: xRP
Level 5: xRP
Level 6: xRP
Level 7: xRP
Level 8: xRP
Level 9: xRP
Level 10: xRP
-Werewolf/Vampire progression:
Level 1: xRP
Level 2: xRP
Level 3: xRP
Level 4: xRP
Level 5: xRP
Level 6: xRP
Level 7: xRP
Level 8: xRP
Level 9: xRP
Level 10: xRP
Status:
-Professor: xRP
-Board owner (librarian, etc): xRP
Material goods:
-Sub-board (own store, etc): xRP (board owner included)
Grandfather clause:
I kinda wanna give people a starting bonus of RP based on their characters and progress here. All characters any given person has played individually accounted for and "converted" into an RP value to get the amount your account will start off with when we get the new site rolling. Since I know the muggle world fucked up a bit with post counts and some people have grossly inflated ones due to this, I feel like the amount would scale better at lower post counts and worse as the post counts go dramatically up (sorry Teagan).
