The New Year's Ball had just started and as far as Lilly could tell, the Deputy Headmistress was the only one there as of the moment. Lilly stood in front of a stained glass window in the hallway outside the Feating Hall. Her silhouette shown as a shadow cast upon the floor. The red light that was cast from the window upon her body made her look as though she was a pure black phantom that stood before I wave of blood. Ah blood, the sweet liquid...the life giver. Plenty of that flowed through Lilly's pounding heart as she waited for Sammy.
Her perfectly shaped body was wrapped in a dress that was made from a base of black stain and draped with lace along the skirt and at the bosom line. silver beading was sown into the waist line as well as the top of the strapless dress and below her bosom. The fabric held snug against her but not to the point it restricted her. In fact the dress itself seemed to conform and compliment her body's natural shape and color. Her pale skin stood out against the rich ebony color, making her look like an angel of darkness. About her neck was a chocker from black satin with a sterling silver cross hanging from it that held a black crystal within. chains of diamonds, two to each side, draped over her delicate and flawless shoulders; only heightening the beauty of all of it.
Dangling from Lilly's ears where a pair of sterling silver crosses that stood out brightly from the dark strands of hair. The light seemed to make them glitter as it did the beads on her dress and the diamonds on her shoulders. Noticeable on her wrist was a bracelet of silver that showcased a black crystal heart in the center. The selected jewelry seemed to match with the up most perfection to the very dress that hugged Lilly's curved body.
As she took a step forward, her shoes peaked out from under the hem of her dress. Simple yet elegant would be the perfect words to describe the way they made her already shapely legs even more befitting. The heals did little to raise her height but much to but a perfect sway in the young Slytherin's walk. The black straps also had a way of helping to highlight the black polish upon her toes, again off setting her pale skin. But aside from all that, the mask that sat upon her face held a beauty all its own. The black velvet that served as a back drop matched well with her dress. Silver embroidery found its way around her eyes and shown to the whole rim where tiny roses of glittering silver. Another circle of roses held a bow of silver ribbon against her ebony hair; making it look as though it sparkled.
As for Lilly's hair. Most of it was pulled back into an elegant bun. But the ebony of her bags hung loose around her shoulders and had been curled into spirals that bounced with each step. The exposed skin of her arms and upper chest sparkled in the light from the glitter she had placed upon her flesh. Truly she did look beautiful beyond all reason...but this was one of the few times where Lilly, the school freak, would actually dress up nice. And on top of that...she was looking forward to Sammy's reaction to her style. So thus she waited, a black shadow upon red light...waiting for her love to come for her.
