Was it just him or was this Phugsius-guy starting to be royal bug in the behind? Maybe, like a bug, he could be squished flat with a shoe. Murdered with a violent spray of poison. Caught under a glass before been tossed out of a window or left underneath to suffocate.
Now where to get a glass big enough...
Cool eyes glaring towards the youngest Slytherin as he plotted various manners of trapping him under a large beaker, a soft growl resounded from Shadow's chest as Malachy amused himself with the joke. "I'd thank you cousin, but really I cannot see the point in bothering," he shot a small look of disgust towards that slithering silver ring of his, "I-I will not be doing such a thing!" He rebuffed his previous comment on the matter, whining a little as he hastily wiped away drying tears around his eyes.
Wavering for a moment in uncertainty, Shadonious sat down meekly besides Willow at the foot of his bed. The reasons were threefold; one, when he was standing there was more chance of his falling from shock; two, Willow was his friend, right? He shouldn't be afraid of her; and three, well it hid how much his body was shaking from the ordeal.
Laughing once at her response, the serpent continued to focus on calming his breathing. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale and Exhale. It wasn't too difficult, and yet every few breaths he felt himself stutter. Willow's minor outburst just moments before still made his muscles shudder, and he found himself staring at her feet rather than her face. "I don't hate you..." he whispered, his index finger and thumb nervously toying with his bottom lip as he spoke.
He really owed it to her to listen and try to understand. No matter how afraid of the truth he was, it wasn't his decision. He didn't own her. She didn't answer to him and his wishes. Sighing quietly, the teen leant back on his hands and stared up at the ceiling in thought. "You know, I'd be thankful if you could get rid of that," he frowned, turning his attention to his cousin and nodding once in Phugsius' direction, "Just a thought."
Erin. "Oh he would, I think he will pride himself on being apart of something he can study. No doubt it was that that got him where he is, now, though," he smirked a bit, running a hand through his hair and finally lifting his colbalt gaze to meet hers with a small timid smile. Timid? What? Shadow?! Yes. He wasn't just the heartless wreckage in your mind, afterall. Well she wasn't the only shape shifter, was she?
Touching the place on her hand where their vow had been, Shadow swallowed a shaky breath and nodded once in finality. "As long as you're happy... Then I... I can be happy for you too."
