Tobias strode into the hall silently, as was his typical style. There were a few dummies he had set up, and they stood motionless, awaiting their demise. The young Slytherin was wearing his cloak, but longer this time, covering his entire body from view. All that was visible was his head, and the small breach in the center of the cloak where his wand poked out.
"Alright then, how sould I start? Flaming death? Silent and quick death? Or perhaps very painful death? Oh well...Secrumsemptra!" With a swish of his wand, the head of one dummy was missing.
"Acidus-Maxima!" Out of his wand, a jet of scalding acid shot out of his wand, and melted down another dummy. Had they been alive hand had feelings, they woud be so very afraid. "Frendomina!" The next dummy, was crushed by some unknown force. All the while, Tobias was laughing. "Burn mortals, burn...Incendio!"bg
Charmwork had always been Muryllis's greatest area of expertise; whether it was because of the vast amount of interesting spells and abilities, or because of the simple fact that the amount of subtle effects was favored by Nostri Magi, he was unsure: the point was, he loved charms. Passing by the dueling hall on his way to the common room after a great meal, he caught a curious sight: there was the first-year Slytherin boy, the one whom he had bested in a fight in the library, and who was now his sworn brother in the Society, practicing his own masterful cursing abilities on poor dummies. "Quite interesting," muttered Muryllis, striding into the hall.
Pulling out his wand, a fifteen-inch Roman wandcrafting masterpiece, he flicked it at the ruined dummies, standing about fifty feet away from him. An elegant swish following the flick, and all the dummies were completely restored to their original state, the remains of the acid curse dissipating into the dry air. "Greetings, Tobias; I see we are practicing in our expert fields today?" he said, flashing a friendly smile to the boy. He had completely forgotten the fight in the library, finally considering at a dishonorable victory, for he had bested a vastly inferior opponent.
"What say you if I were to bring back my offer of yourself teaching me, and myself teaching you? I think that, with our new roles in the world, we would benefit greatly from each other."
Fuu made her way through the school and eventually ended up by the Dueling Hall. She wasn't much of a fighter so, she came to see if anything need healing or if anything way dead. Fuu normally carried a bag with her and some supplies just in case something were to ever happen. That day Fuu was dress casual, as she normally did. She wore a black and white checkered T-shirt with a black skirt meeting at about mid-thigh with black lacing around the bottom. Her long red hair was all down with a little black bow clip on the side of her head. Her bangs were brushed to the side to reveal her shining blue eyes beneath.
Fuu stared at the entrance of the Hall and heard some disturbing noises. Hesitating, then she opened the door slowly. She heard a familiar voice. "Burn mortals, burn...Incendio!". Opening the door further she peek inside to see non other than Tobi. He expression was, unsettling. She stepped in and walk around behind him. She waited for him to stop and then she spoke.
"Rather violent today aren't we?" she teased.
Fuu looked to the side to see Muryllis, she hadn't even noticed him before. A little creep out she said to him.
Tobias turned to Muryllis, his body now completely hidden beneath his cloak for he had holstered his wand. "Why not? So then, shall I show you a curse, or shall you charm me into illness?" Tobias was wise-cracking, but what else could one expect? It was in his nature. Unhooking the near-invisible chain that kept the cloak on, before throwing it off his person in a very dramatic, and (honestly), really cool looking way.
He was wearing black, pure leather, loosely-fitting pants and shirt, with matching boots and gloves. Attatched to his belt, was a holster holding his wand. "So then, shall you start, or shall I?"
But out of nowhere, Fuu was in there. "Hmm. I wasn't expectng this. But hello Fuu, and yes, I am rather violent today. Then again, I usually am."
Suddenly Tobias threw off his robe, all dramatic-like, and was ready to duel. Fuu began to see this trend with Muryllis' firends. At least no one would die if she was here, Hopefully. Fuu smiled at Tobi's comment then she looked back to Mury. "I assume they know each other." she thought. It wasn't hard to tell judgeing by their chemistry. Fuu stood by the two boys not saying anything allowed.
"Why are they fighting? Eck, men." she thought. again with a slightly confused expression.
Muryllis smiled and tossed his own 'Hello' to Fuu, before completely forgetting her and getting to the matter at hand. Flashing Tobias a look that meant 'careful', for he was not at all skilled in telepathy, he leveled his wand. "I don't see a reason to inflict pain upon each other; these dummies are skillfully crafted for the purpose of practicing spells, so why not use them?"
Saying this, he aimed a flick at one of the dummies in the middle. The arms suddenly flew off, switching positions. Another set of flicks, and before long the dummy was a rearranged jumble of arms, legs, and heads stolen off other dummies. "A fun charm, though I don't find it possible to use on living things.. yet at least. Reordino, the rearrangement charm. Now..." Another flick, and each body part swelled to three times their size; finally popping, they sent firework-like effects in every direction. "Jocus Fragor the fun explosion charm. Your turn," he finished, restoring the dummies again with another flick of his wand.
Tobias nodded his head in agreement, and watched Muryllis show off some of his charms. "Very impressive. You should teach this stuff someday. Now then, let me show you a few things." Tobias then brought out his wand and twirled it around his index finger, the way he typically did when getting ready to cast a few curses.
"I'll start slow, with....oh, the slashing curse. Secrumsemptra!" Tobias yelled his curse, and used his wand to draw an "X" in the general direction of the dummy. And in the same pattern it had been in the air, the dummy was divided into four sections, the X forming directly in the torso. "Small incantation, lots of focus, simple yet variable movement, and you've got slashage. Next, maybe, the Implosion Curse. Vortegima!" Tobias made a jabbing motion with his wand, and the next unfortunate dummy seemed to collapse within itself. "It would be rather gory if performed on a person, but it is also good for getting obstacles out of the way. And for the grand finale, lets try the Bone Breaker Curse. Talus Solvo!" It was pretty easy to describe the effects of the curse, and effect it had on the dummy.
"Quite interesting," muttered Muryllis as he watched the Slytherin boy completely demolish the dummies. "Very interesting, indeed. I'll have to remember those," he said, readying his wand. Restoring the dummies yet again, he said, "now then, here's some more:"
Another graceful twirl, and the dummy he had previously mutilated was animated, mimicing taking a match out of a matchbox and lighting it. With another quick swish, the dummy's hand caught on fire, and it began to jump around in terror - except that it was nailed to its base. Finally burning to a crisp, Muryllis restored it and smiled. "That's a fun thing to do at a tea party, methinks - the Anima Rei charm; very powerful if used correctly, but equally difficult to maintain when performing a difficult task."

As the two boys flaunted there skills Fuu watched, and was quite impressed with the both of them. When the started to attack the dummies Fuu backed up a little, to completely get away from the line of fire. Never could be too careful with these guys. They were both very skilled, more than Fuu would ever be. She wasn't exactly jealous, but she envied them both their talent. But, healing was her strong point and she was satisfied.
"Well, i guess i will sit back a watch." Fuu muttered grinning to herself. She walked quietly to the back of the room. She took her bag off her shoulder and sat down, watching their every move.bg
"Alright then, let me show you something you may not expect...FERITAS FERRUM!" Tobias' wand began to glow with a dark aura, as it continued along the length of the wand, and formed what looked like an ominous by appearance blade. The young Slytherin then dashed twoards the dummies, before leaping higher than anyone should ever be able to, before slashing one dummy in half, before rending the head off of another faster than one could blink. He then threw his wand like a boomerang, which slashed through the remaining dummies before coming straight back to his hand. Slowly, the aura disappated, and its owner was panting slightly. "Top that."
It really was quite an interesting curse. Restoring the mutilated dummy yet again, he chuckled as the Slytherin boy beckoned him. "Oh, as gory as curses can get," he began, raking his mind for something spectacular, "you really can't beat charmwork when it comes to amazing. Pointing his wand at a dummy, Muryllis closed his eyes, finally picking out an interesting spell. The tip of the wand began to glow read, much like a badly casted Lumos, but it did not flicker; it kept that eerie red hue, soon enough beginning to pulse, first subtly, then more noticable. Keeping his eyes on the dummy, he was rewarded with a faint odor of burnt cloth and wood.
It was like an accelerated recording of a chocolate bunny melting; each piece, not bubbling, simply dripped off, leaving an undiscernable pile of sludge. The wand tip stopped glowing, and Muryllis then flicked it: pieces of the gloop seemed to be pulled out like dough at the hands of a baker, and then they changed colors. Gone were the dark brown natural hues, replaced by a rainbow of wacky colors. A quick, violent swish, however, ended all that; the sludge flew up in the air and then splashed down, exploding in a violent array of apocalyptic colors.
"It wasn't the best I could do; I just couldn' think of anything better at the moment," he said, restoring the dummy. "Then again," he pondered, and prodded foreward with his wand. A loud bang! let out with each prod, not unlike a Muggle pistol. Even more like the pistol, a holes appeared randomly in the dummy, the magical bullets passing right through and ricocheting (sp??) off the stone walls. This continued, the speed increasing like a machine gun; soon enough, the dummy was so riddled with holes that it grew unstable and toppled over, as a finale releasing a thick, red goo. "There we go," he said, restoring the dummy again. "Though that still was quite boring..."
Fuu watched as the poor dummy kept getting mutilated over and over again. It and been blow up, burned, melted, shot. That poor thing. She couldn't help but fell bad. Fuu knew it could move or talk, breath or think. But still she greived for it.
"I'll give it a name." she thought. Placeing her fiingers to her lips she surveyed the dummy. "Guujin." she to where only she could here. Guujin was japanese for puppet or doll.
"Very clever Mury. Now, lets see if you can identify a curse." Silently, Tobias raised his wand, and focused intently on the proper incantation in his head. SUCCENDO! Then came a very intricate wand movement. He could not move too far in any direction with his wand, or it would back fire. But he had done it perfectly, like before. Suddenly, the dummies simply exploded in massive fireballs that seemed to rise from the abyss.
A name test, eh? Muryllis watched as Tobias, weaving his wand in a very fine pattern, caused the dummies - all of them, even - to explode. Quite interesting.. "I'm afraid I'm not good enough with curses to be able to identify that. What is it? And what exactly is the effect?"
The dummies back to normal, he flicked his wand lazily; he didn't feel like thinking up an interesting charm twist this time, so he simply caused each one to rapidly inflate; when the heads, now unproportionally large, reached the ceiling, they popped, showering the entire hall with wood chips; they were then restored.
Tobias cast a silent spell watched in horror as Guujin exploded again. She bit her bottom lip and clamped her fists in fear. She bounced her legs up and tried her hardest not to cry out and look like a fool. Mury loosly held his wand then with a twirl Guunji's head exploded.
Fuu briskly wiped wood chips from her hair. In shock she leaned foward, placing hr hand on her chest and let out a whipered, breathy sigh, "Gah. Guujin-kun." Fuu's expression was priceless, it was of both anger and sorrow. She had a habit of getting attached to things a little too much.
